Link in the Who is Who iView for ITS Service

Dear All,
Can you please guide me where exactly i have to mention the link for the Service which i have to use from the ITS for the who is who iview?
I am getting the error as
No Service Name specified
Your request didnot contain service name. Please specify service name in the URL path
Example URL

.....\scripts\wgate\pz01\!
I am not understanding where to specify the path exactly.

Hello Samir,
Are you using standalone ITS.
If u are using itegrated ITS then mention the below parameter in ITS of ur portal system.
ITS HOST NAME: <host_name>:<port>
ITS PATH: /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/
ITS PROTOCAL: http

The way you are connecting, the default database used will be 'master' and i guess that the table PEC_COUNTRY was defined in another database.
If it is the case you need to specify the database name.

Can you link two iPhones, one on pay monthly the other on pay as you go, to the same iTunes account? As once sync'd the pay as you go looses its service provider??

The iTunes account has nothing to do with the cellular service provider. So you should be able to have both phones on the same account. What problem do you have with it?

Hi,
I'm not so sure if I understood you correctly but you can create iViews using the iViews wizard in the portal.
For creating ITS (Web based access to transactions) iViews you can use the transaction (WEBGUI) iView:

And for customized pages on ITS you can use the IAC iViews:

For that you will need to create and configure a 'System' object via the portal system landscape ( System administration -> System configuration) The major parts to be configured are:
Transaction & IAC iViews: (The parameters that should be configured)
Connector section u2013 SAP Client, SAP System ID (SID), Server Port.
ITS section (for WebGUI) u2013 ITS Host Name, ITS Path, ITS Protocol
User Management section - Logon Method (SAPLOGONTICKET, UIDPW, X509CERT) , User Mapping Type (for user mapping personalization)

Initial and expired password status is not checked during login for ITS Services

Dear all,
we have the following Basic problem or question regarding ITS-based ABAP Services provided via browser to internal and external customers:
The user call the ITS via URL "https://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/it13?sap-client=03&sap-language=en" his browser.
To access the Service a simple login Dialog appears for entering the credentials (UserID + Password).
The problem with this simple Dialog is that after resetting the users password this initial password status seems not to be checked here.
That means, that the user is able to login with this initial password and he is not forced to change the password.
In difference to this the intended behavior is provided for example when the SAP Standard ITS Service "webgui" is launched by the user:
The user launches der Service via URL "https://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=03&sap-language=en"
In this case an additional first SAP WebAS login dialog appears where the users has to click on a Login-Button. This login button opens
another login dialog as a popup where the user is able to enter his credentials. But if the password has an initial status the user is
forced afterwards to change his password.
So the login behavior of the webgui Service is what we also want for the any other ITS Service. We've already compared the service properties and
settings (SICF), but we could not find any difference.
What can we do to change the login behavior for the ITS services ?

Can you attach a screenshot of the "Logon Data" tab of the service 'it13' in transaction SICF?
In SICF - Tab: Error Pages -> Logon Errors
is 'SYSTEM Logon' selected for both the 'WEBGUI' service and 'IT13' service?

How to update Search Help template for ITS Service PZ03

Hi all,
There is a requirement to change the search help screens of pz03 Internet Service which is being used with EP 7.0.
I have little experience in ABAP so can anyone let me know how to change it. I was able to reach SEARCHHELPDHTML template. Is there a place I can download the template and update it.

Hi.
If you define an Internet Service, using SICF transaction, it shows all standard and z's search help, so I think it's not an ITS problem. Try to define your search help normally on R/3, an after that define your service with using new transaction.

There is a need to Hide the Pushbuttons in the transaction i-view which is being created for a custom transaction.
The pushbuttons that needs to be disabled are like 'Save as Variant' , 'Choose Variant' etc..
How do we go about doing it.

It has nothing to do with have more than one device using that account.
After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.

If you really got charged twice for purchases the same app twice with the same account contact iTunes again by:

Make sure that they are really the same app first.

If it is an iPad with WiFi + Cellular, it has a mobile number attached to it. However, that number has no practical use for the end user as you can't use it to make calls or send texts. It's mostly a way of connecting the device to the cellular network. Additionally, cellular numbers are only attached to one device at a time.
If what you're really asking is can you share a plan with your cell phone, well that depends on your carrier. Give them a call.

Direct links to the KM doesn't work under Kerberos (SPNego)

We are running NW04 SP16 and successfully implemented Kerberos
authentication using the SPNego module.
The problem we are facing is this: If we put a URL to a certain KM file
at the browser, like this:
http://<host>:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/....
The user is being prompted for User name and password and even after
entering the correct ones it doesn't work. If the same user is opening
this link from inside the portal (from an iView for example) the link
is working. When we used NTLM this option used to work.
I have implemented SAP Note 993579 yet it didn't solve the problem.
I also tried changing the Authentication Schema property of the com.sap.km.document template iView to "default" yet this as well didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Yes I am referring to the same oject.
The thing is that Brad says that the changing of the authentication schema needs to be done together with the note. I first tried the note and in order to track changes I reverted the note and tried the authentication schema change separately. I didn't try to implement both of them together. I will try it and let you know...

Creating iView for BI queries and system

Dear All
I need your help in dealing with three challenges that i'm currently facing while trying to integrate BW into Portal.

Challenge 1:
I am trying to create an iView for BI queries but it is giving the following exception
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
Could not find portal application com.sap.ip.bi.base.application.
Exception id: 04:32_26/06/07_0010_18800950
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
Can anyone help me in understanding what is it and how to resolve it?
Not able to infer anything from logfile.
System i created for connecting BW is OK for the connector test but fails for ITS and Web AS.
Challenge 2:
Is it necessary to for a system to pass all the tests (Web AS, ITS and Connector)?

1. Check the validity of the system ID in the system object
2. Check whether the system can be retrieved

1. The system ID is valid
2. Retrieval of the system was successful
3. The system object represents an SAP system
4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (eimreymdd0.eimskip.net:8001)
5. HTTP/S connection failed
ITS Connection
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Check the validity of the system ID in the system object
2. Check whether the system can be retrieved
3. Check whether the system object has a valid system alias

If you are using BI 7 and EP 7, then you have to run either the post installation template from http://<host>:<port>/nwa ( Refer to Note 895736 - Configuration template for BI-JAVA usage type ) or Run program RSPOR_SETUP in BI.
I would suggest you to run BI configuration template from nwa alias.
To execute basic steps for automatically configuring the BI Java usage type for integration to the portal, proceed as follows:
1. Call the template installer by choosing quick link /nwa: <PORTAL_PROTOCOL>://<PORTAL_SERVER>:<PORTAL_PORT>/nwa
2. Under scenario, select BI Java.
3. Choose the BIPostInstallProcess template. Under Template, the individual steps that are executed by this template are also provided.
4. Choose Execute Template.
5. Adjust the default values under Data Entry. Note the following with respect to the input values:
ABAP:
ABAP_ADMIN and ABAP_PASSWORD are used for the RFC connection during installation
BACKEND_SYSTEM, BACKEND_SYSNUMBER, and BACKEND_CLIENT specify the BI system (AS ABAP)
BACKEND_HTTP_PORT can be determined using function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET (or using the report)
BACKEND_SID is the system ID for the BI system
JAVA:
J2EE HOST and J2EE SID specify the J2EE Engine (AS Java)
J2EE HTTP PORT is the HTTP port of the J2EE Engine and has the numbering convention 5<J2EE_SYSNUMBER>00 (for example, 51000 for the system number 10)
P4PORT is the TCP/IP port of the Visual Administrator and can be calculated using <J2EE_HTTP_PORT>+4 (for example, 51004)
6. Choose Install.
Note:
You should only perform template-based configuration if the system has not been configured.

Linking help from Masthead area par IView.

Hi All,
I hv to link the Help option provided in masteadhead area to a par IView which I created in JSPDynpages. This IView is stored in Portal_Content/MyFolder
However, I am confused how to link this help option from masthead area. My requirement is, when we click on Help option it should open this par IView in a new window instead of pop-up window.
Please, help me in this regards. Any other ideas also welcome. Appreciate your time and valuable inputs.

In the masthead iview open the property there you can define the link to the Help Content.(look for help link property)
Change the value there.
