Link rule Visited misacts on other link rules - how to solve?
Hello,
When I set the link class "a:visited {color:somecolor }, the other classes do not work anymore. It is, for example the Hover is working fine until I click the hyperlink, after that it gets the color I specified in the a:visited and the Hover don't work from there, nor Active etc. It is both in Firefox and IE so it's not browser problem. Please help!

You may only update pre-installed software from the same Apple ID you used when it was downloaded from the App Store. You need to sign into the App Store using that same Apple ID you used when you registered your original purchase with Apple.

We have 2 iphone 5s sharing the same apple ID. When browsing Safari on one phone it automatically sends a link to that page to the other phone. How do we turn this off please?

It sounds that you are running the same iCloud account with two phones. I recommend you to create a different iCloud account and you should be all set.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the affected files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again. -

It's because you are both using the same iTunes Library on your computer and you are both using the same Apple ID on each phone.
One of you must start a new computer user account and get a new Apple ID. Then start operating on the ocmputer from the new account. He/she will also need to restore their phone from the new account and using the new Apple ID. This way everything on each of your phones will remain separate.

My wife and I have separate ioS devices (iOS7) with separate iCloud accounts.
So we access our mail separately on these devices. But we would both like to be able to access mail at the desk top (iMac, OSX Mavericks). Currently only my mail is linked. How do I set up the Mac to allow it to access my wife's e-mail too, either in the same mail inbox or a separate one. My external hard drive will not open and only shows up in Disk Utilities. When I try yo repair it, it give me and error of invalid sibling link. How do I fix my external hard drive?
Invalid sibling link may not be fixable by Disk Utility. (Disk Utility is very conservative, and will not attempt repairs that might cause you to lose data.)
It is an indication of serious Directory damage.

b) re-initializing the drive (which deletes all your data) and restoring from another backup source.
c) "Copying off whatever files you can salvage" has gone by, and you cannot copy anything off a drive that will not mount. You may be able to use "rescue" programs such as prosoft engineering Data Rescue to copy files to another drive, but that sounds a lot better than its reality. You may get many files, but not get ANY filenames. -

Disable links to how-to videos
It seems microsoft has listened and allowed the complete removal of ads, at least on my version(6.21.0.104), but now have added these links to how-to videos that I can't get to go away. I have disabled targeted advertising and help and skype tips, but they keep coming back. It's really wasted space that I would like back. Is there any other known fix, or is downgrading the only option.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. I had connected my yahoo email account with my apple email and now wish to disconnect this link. How do I do this?
Open Mail preferences and delete the account. This only removes it from the Mail app and doesn't close out the service.

My question was already detailed: If I post a Word document on my website, I want to share the link. Firefox won't let me do that. It forces me to download the document. It won't go to the link. How can I get it to do that? Can I?
