Link to the prerelease DPS forum?

I've seen a lot of posts stating that we should use this forum for questions regarding content bundler etc... but yet I can't find it for the life of me!
help!
my main problem in content bundler is this: app.rasterizeDocumentPage is not a function ... if anyone has some off hand solutions to this issue, although i've exhausted my knowledge of troubleshooting this issue.

The beta period was over in may. The software also stoped letting people upload .folio files on June 6th rendering it useless. The software offered on adobe labs was a very very very old version of the pre-release. Its worth just downloading the final tools.
The forum itself is still up, athough Adobe warned us they will be discontinuing it in the very near future. The forum is only open to those who signed up for the pre-release.
The error your referencing sounds like a drop 6 error-- one that was fixed in a later drop 8 and now the final tools are on drop 13, its worth just updating them.

Link to the Spry Forums under the DW categories.

All of the Dreamweaver forums are scattered with Spry questions because people do not know where to the find the Spry forums. As its under Labs instead of dreamweaver, because Spry is still in "prerelease".
If its all listed in one topic is easier for users to find answers to there questsion instead of having to search 4 different places on the forums to hopefully find the answer they are looking for.
Don't think that the Search options are going to help you find the Spry forums because the massive amount of options put in the category select lack of any autosuggest feature and the size makes it an immense task to even find the category you are looking for.
So what I suggest is..
1, move the Spry Labs forum under the Dreamweaver category listing
or
2, provide a forwarding link in the dreamweaver category listing to the correct location for Spry questions.

Links on the forum are broken

Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but links on the forum seem to be broken.
e.g. Google
Is this some user specific setting that I've accidentally activated, or has the forum lost some functionality?

It just seems like Richard is not using the right way to embed a URL in the forum which is something like this:
Oracle UI Shell Functional Pattern
basically [ then url= and here the url then ] the some text and then a closing tag which is [ followed by / and url and ]

You not only got good stuff in there but if you look to the right there are the linkes to the BC knowledgebase and some good 3rd party resources from people like BC Gurus and Simpleflame.

Suggestion - Cross links in the Developer Forums

Hi - this is a suggestion for a trivial modification to the Developer forums.
I regularly read and contribute to the "Developer" and "Software Development 101" forums; looking at the names of the other contributors, I'm not the only one. It would be really helpful if there were a direct cross link from the Developer to the Software Development 101 forum, and another back from SD101 to the Developer forum. This would avoid having to navigate up a level and navigate downwards again.
Alternatively, the SD101 forum could be moved back as a sub-forum of the Developer forum, as was the case when SD101 was first created.

I do not know the official link to get to the hp forums.
I only found it by going through google.
It seems a bits silly I know.
I would expect it to be www.hp.com. But I could not get HERE from there.
I also would expect it to be in www.itrc.hp.com. But the forums there are the old, read-only, (and very useful), old forums.

Bug signing in to Adobe DPS Forum?

I think there is a problem when signing in to this Forum. There is a few days ago I am having trouble to sign in through DPS Forum (don't know others). To get in I have to type adobe.com and sign in from the home page. Then, I click "learning > adobe forum" and choose DPS, and I am logged out. I click "sign in" from the DPS area, and it turns a broken link. So, I repeat all the way since "home" and it works... but I always have to do it twice or three times.

Could you please try deleting the AdobeMuse folder from the location :
Windows 7: C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data
Mac: /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/
After that please relaunch Adobe Muse and check if you are able to Publish the site or not.

Go into BlackBerry Link and click on the BlackBerry and then click on Options. Make sure you have Music, Pictures, Videos and Documents checkmarked for synchronization. Once these are checked, try to remove the files.

Can anyone tell me or give me a link to the latest response from Apple regarding very real weak wifi signal on what seems to be a batch of both the new ipad and the earlier Ipad2. I have just bought a 2nd hand ipad2 and it has a very weak wifi signal

Over the last week or so I have been trawling the internet looking for references to weak wifi signals on the Ipad2 and was staggered by the sheer quantity of people who seem to have identical issues, not just with the ipad2 but also with the new ipad. What annoyed me most from reading the reams upon reams of comments made on the Apple community forum is the fairly large number of people who seemed to believe that 'these' people were either just moaners and wingers or else they must have something wrong with their router set-up rather than a serious fault with their ipad and it seems all because there ipad in question works like a dream.
Obviously I can only speak from my experience, and that is, I have an ipad2 32GB with wifi, purchased about 6 months ago and it works like dream with a good 2-3 bar wifi signal through 2 thick stone walls over 30 feet away. My router is a standard one supplied by my broadband supplier compatible with all 'g','b' and 'n' equipment. However, over a week ago now I bought second hand genuine ipad2 16GB with wifi from a close friend who has just purchased a new ipad3 to replace his old ipad2 (had it for over a year so no longer under warranty). When I started it up downstairs from my router, where I always use my other ipad2 which has a very strong wifi signal, I discovered that the new secondhand ipad2 I had purchased couldnt find a network signal at all. So after doing network resets and all other 'fixes' on the device recommended, I took it upstairs to my office where the router is based and found that the device could now locate the network, but the signal was lost over only 12 feet from the router!
I quizzed my good friend about this issue and he informed me that it has always been like this since he first purchased it and he never thought that it was a fault, it was just the way it was. When he first aquired the device he did think at the time that this distance was poor, but thought nothing of it as he didnt have any other ipad to measur ethe signal strength against, and as his router was in his living room anyway he nothing of it. Fair enough.
So, there we have it. One ipad2 with a very good wifi signal and another ipad2 with a very poor wifi signal running off the same router, both with the same IOS 5.0. ?
As well as all of the other isues that customers have picked up on, such as 'death grip' (which I must say does appear to happen, but personally i dont think that this is a serious issue if you are aware of this issue and have a strong signal anyway), my experience seems to be a good example of a 'duff' wifi ipad versus a 'great' wifi ipad', an issue confirmed by complaints from a fairly large number of customers who have also reported the same or similar weak wifi signals with both the ipad2 and the ipad3. So, as this shows the weak wifi signal is a very real issue it seems on a batch of ipad2 and 3's, which to my logic is obviously a hardware issue on a batch of early ipad2's and not a software one, otherwise all ipad's would suffer this problem! So, is it a faulty antenna or a faukty network card in an early batch?
So, the bottom line now is, of course, firstly, how can I get Apple to fix my other ipad2 when the warranty has run out? Any suggestions anyone?
Personally I think good Apple customer service should offer a recall with a replacement on this apparent batch of ipads, dont you?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

For the past week or so I no longer see the toolbar in the Comcast Help Forums to reply to a post made in that forum. Has there been a change made to my iPad 3 settings and how to fix it?

Has something changed in the iPad 3? I Go to the Comcast Help Forums daily as a Volunteer Moderator and for the past week or so when I open a post in the Forum and attempt to reply to the post, ai no longer have a toolbar which contains different options that should be
available to me. Such as quote, font. Font size, inserting a link or image,etc.
Now- I do not have a toolbar at all! I already contacted Lithium who is the company that creates and maintains the Comcat Help F or umps.
What has happened and how do I resolve this? I would not be at all happy if Apple has done something that is now preventing me access.

If this is what you are used to seeing in the Comcast forum, you need a browser that can identify as a desktop browser. Safari does not do this. I am using iCab Mobile and this is what the forum looks like when I sign in.

thanks for this great idea. Indeed, there is no channel set up to communicate feedback/suggestions/questions to Web Dynpro tutorials or articles in a standardized way.
WebLogs can be commented on the WebLog page itself and they are announced in a special ;\ New Web Dynpro Weblogs which can be opened via the <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/uuid/49f2ea90-0201-0010-ce8e-de18b94aee2d">Web Dynpro Feature2Sample Matrix</a>. Actually the section 'Further Information' lists all related articles, WebLogs etc. These links are regularly updated so that the Sample Description Pages helps to keep all links to valuable information in a central place.
The 'Sample Description Page' should additionally comprise a section <b>'Discussion'</b> with a link to the above 'Article Comment Thread' in the Web Dynpro forum. The reader downloads the material from the sample description page and also finds a link to the related 'Article Comment Thread' there.
For all new articles (which are combined with a related 'Article Comment Thread') the <i>Further Information</i> links could point to the 'Article Comment Thread' (which then itself links to the article) but not directly to the article resource. The reader can then also have look at the existing comments to the related resource.
