Linking a Gauge

Good afternoon everyone...
I have a quick question dealing with the possibility to link to an external site from a gauge. I've looked through some of the Navigation options, but had no luck. I do believe that it can be done via the "Advanced" -> "Request XML". Is that possible?
Thanks for any help.
Brad

I'm facing the same issue.Has anyone worked on it?

  • Prob with absolute time

    Hii everyone....
I have some questions to ask to u guys...firstly, I'm using serial comm to interface data into labview...There is no prob for configuration...but I have 2 mistakes here.1stly, refer to my table.PNG...I build the table using build table express...so..I enabled the date time. When I run the prog...the date/time didn't fuction anymore...It seems like its stuck with the first read...so...i have tried to open the front panel of the build table express to modify n try to put time stamp..but I think that there is no need to replace it because it had Gate waveform time array.vi already...I tried the other basic simulation to confirm it...but the date from table will run also after I start to run the other prog.
And the other mistake about write to measurement file..the situation was same as above that I tried to show the elapsed time or fractional seconds in the text file at the left side...but it did not happened.that means the fractional seconds always shown as 0.0000 till the target time...
And my last question it...How can I put a gauge and link with the waveform?because here I can't link this gauge icon with the waveform...and lastly,How could I change universal time format of x-axis from the waveform to current time...thank u very much...

oh...i'm sorry dennis..i almost forget these thing. Here, I attached my vi n PNG file. Actually I put the gauges 4 my data from my waveform.I think it can be linked with signal without any prob. So, I didn't know that this function just a scalar input. So refer to my table2 PNG. the date / time did not run properly n stuck with the first time/date data...thank u very much

  • [Help] Gauge as master table in master-detail links

I am working on master-detail links POC these days. Found most of views work as a master view or a detail view. But found Gauge only works for a detail view. Never succeed to make it work as a master view.
Checked the Oracle documents. They do say Gauge can be. So anybody has the success experience and could share how to make that?
I built one Bar char, one Pivot Table and one Gauge as the master views and one normal table as the detail view in one analysis. All work well but Gauge. It's a bug?

  • How to Remove the "Analyze..." link from Discoverer Gauge Portlets

Is there a way (a hack, even?) to remove the "Analyze..." link from the Discoverer Gauge portlets? Or, can we redirect that link to point to a different Discoverer Worksheet?
As a work-around, we're using an HTML portlet below the gauge to link where we want to go, but the "Analyze..." link is still there, so it's confusing to the end user.
    Thanks!

One quick statement : These customizations are not supported by Oracle. These notes are purely for informational purposes. We cannot guarantee the ability to upgrade your Discoverer environment if you make these changes. Also note that if you want to log TARs and/or bugs against the Discoverer portlets after you have made any of the changes listed in the note shown above, Oracle Support can ask you to back out any changes and reproduce the problem.
    Thanks

    -Steps to Duplicate:
    Issue One:
I have used a series of gauges and linked them to data in an embedded excel file.  When i look at the preview the gauges are all registered at the miniumum possible, as if there was no data.  If i hard code the data it works fine.  My reports need to update monthly, weekly, and daily, so I don't want to hardcode all this information.
    Issue Two:
When I export to Power Point I get a slide with a blank box as its only data.  The box is just as if I had used forms to create a white box with an outline.  (I already searched the forum and saving as ppt isn't doing the trick)

    Hi,
There were couple of bugs with SP1 and Fix packs which were fixed in recent fix packs and service packs( i.e. SP2).
I am not sure which data connection you are using. It's not a bad idea to move to the latest patch. There were some issues with canvas going blank or some components not behaving correctly which was fixed in FP3 and SP2.
Please provide more detail on your 1st issue and it would help me to help you better.
    Thanks,

  • Including gauges, bars, pie-diagram etc in Web Dynpro program

    Hi Experts,
I am developing one Web Dynpro program. In this program, we have to include fancy features like progress bars, pie-diagram, gauges etc. These items should be related to some R/3 table. For example, if total hours allocated for some work is 50 hours and person has not used his time than the Bar should show that 100% time is unused. If person has used 25 hours, then Bar should show that 50% time is utilized. We have to use multiple colors also.
Similarlly we have to use pie-diagram and Gauges. Again these should be related to some R/3 table.
Can you please let me know how we can do so?
    Regards,
    Brian

  • How to activate lightbox from a second rollover link?

I am trying to active my lightbox from a second rollover link and do not know how to do it.  I been looking for hours to find the right answer and the closest thing that made any sense was someone saying to do this..
This is commonly caused by a conflict between scripts. Check your body tag and look for an onload attribute. Example:
    <body onload="MM_preloadImages(‘/images/menu_on.gif’)…;">
A quick fix to this problem is to append the initLightbox() to the onload attribute as so:
    <body onload="MM_preloadImages(‘/images/menu_on.gif’)…;initLightbox()">
Sounds simple enough but the problem is my 'body onload' attitubute in my HTML seems to be uneditable for some reason so I am unable to test if this works or not.  Can someone please help me as I am new to dreamweaver and this is my first website. Here is where is sits in my code - not sure if that will help.

  • Display gauges & values in Visio (SCOM)

    Hi all
I'm creating dashboards in with the visio add-in from SCOM. I got some dashboards ready, linking shapes, ...
Now my boss asks to display several values & gauges. I googled my way around but didn't find anything useful.
Is it possible to display values & gauges in Visio (linked to SCOM)? For instance, a value representing all active Lync connections, a value that displays the average CPU load from our Citrix pool, a gauge with average RAM usage from SQL servers, ...
    And if possible, how =)?

  • Hypertext link from a Result

Can part of a Result be configured as a hypertext link? For example, could a click on a column of a table go to cnn.com?
As far as I can tell, the closest general support for this navigates from a Result to a Dashboard, which contains a hypertext link. This isn't satisfactory because it requires two clicks and an intermediate page load to reach the destination.
(Curiously, the Oracle Business Intelligence Answers, Delivers, and Interactive
Dashboards User Guide claims that Gauges support navigation to web sites: "To allow navigation to multiple saved requests, dashboards or Web sites ...".)
    What workarounds are recommended?
One possibility occurs to me: Include a hypertext link in a text field in the data; this would support a link from the text box of the data, but not elsewhere, and it would require mangling the data.
    BR
    A

    Try this:
    1) Create a "dummy" column. In the Edit Formula button, enter this: CASE WHEN 1=0 THEN TableName.ColumnName ELSE 'www.cnn.com' END
    2) Override the data format with "Hypertext Link (prepend http://)" option.
    3) Go to Results. Now the column displays www.cnn.com and when clicked, takes you to the site.
OR, if you wish your data to be a link to the site (not data dependent), do this:
    1) Override the data format to "Hypertext Link (prepend http://)" option.
    2) Switch to Custom Text Format. (The reason for this an the previous step is to make the text in the Hypertext Link (prepend http://) editable.
    3) Edit what you see to this: "http://"@[html]"(a href="http://"www.cnn.com"")"@"(/a)" (Changed the angle brackets so it displays...)
    4) Go to Results. Now the data in the column displays but they become hyperlinks to the cnn site.

    Hi All,
I have checked that Master Detail linking works between an Analysis and a Graph etc. But is it possible to have a Master Detail Linking between a Gauge and a Graph such that when I drill down on a Gauge my Graph should reflect the same results.

  • Gauges for Excel-PowerPivot

    Hi,
I'm searching free cost gauges for Excel 2013 + PowerPivot like a speedometer, thermometer and so on.
For now, I haven't found anything of interest.
Any helps to me please? Thanks

    Hi pscorca,
Have you already considered trying to create your own gauges through methods such as these?
    http://exceluser.com/excel_dashboards/bullet-graph.htm
    http://stephanieevergreen.com/easiest-bullet-charts-in-excel/
    http://www.excel-easy.com/examples/gauge-chart.html
It's likely that you'll need to combine Excel
Cube Functions with these methods to achieve the dynamic behaviour that we expect from Power Pivot dashboards and reports.

  • Error 200077 during Strain Gauge Calibration in Measurement and Automation Explorer V5.3.1f0

    Hey Guyz!
I am experiencing a problem perfomring my shunt calibration using a 350ohm(GF 2) strain gauge connected with NI9949 and NI9237 in a NI cDAQ-9178 Hardware.
When i click on strain callibration under configuration-Device: R3 being my shunt of 100k ohm, i can measure the errors and calibration but when i hit the calibration tab, it gives me an error 200077 occured at Strain Gauge Calibration (see aatached jpeg file for the error type).
I don't know what is wrong, i have doublt-tripple checked my circuit, and have read the forums regarding the same error and have come across the "signal input range", in my case it is default kept at 1m max and -1m min. I am not sure how these values work.
    Any guidance would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    error 200077.jpg ‏73 KB

    Hi
This error code may be occurring due to the specified signal input range in max (-1m to 1m), being set to a value outside of the expected readings from your strain gauge.
Also the Gage Factor, Gage Resistance, Initial Voltage, Vex Source, Vex Value (V), Lead Resistance and Strain Configuration need to be configured based on your sensor specification.
This link gives more details on connecting strain gages to a DAQ device:
