Links aren't working properly

Good morning. Hopefully I can explain this clearly. I've had my website for a few years and it has always worked fine. It isn't a site that I change often, so I do forget "how to do things."
In September I removed one dog page and added two dog pages. I removed "Leah." I added "Adam" and "Bella." At the time, I didn't have photo or info for "Bella" page, so I just kinda threw Adam page as sort of a placemarker. I did create a button in Photoshop that said Bella on it and placed it on the site.
Yesterday I got photo and decided to make "Bella" page. Here's the result, meaning here's how the buttons work right now, which is wrong:
Home = Home. Panya=Panya. Zafra=Zafra. Adam=Adam. Bella=Adam.
The final few buttons work okay and take you to the proper page.
If you are on Puppies page and click on Bella button, you actually will get to the Bella page.
If you are on Future page and click on Bella button, you get a page that shouldn't even be there, named Leah.

Of course I have done some site checks, and I pretty much don't understand what the results mean, because like I said, I kinda forget a lot of this program; not sure that I ever really "got it" to begin with, obviously. Thanks for help.
I forgot to mention, when I'm on the Adam page and click and drag that circle to link to proper file, even after saving, it changes back. It keeps changing back to Zafra, which is the button above on the site. If I change Bella button to link to Bella file, then Adam link changes back to Zafra.

After upgrading, multiple applications aren't working properly

I recently upgraded from OX 10.3 to Tiger, and a lot of my applications aren't working properly. My computer is almost exactly 2 years old (I bought it in early January 2005) and otherwise has been running fine.
When I use Safari, every time a page loads a box comes up saying, "Keychain Not Found. Keychain "mcurtiss" cannot be found to store "Safari." I've tried clicking both cancel and reset to defaults, but either way it still keeps happening. I've checked under Keychains and the mcurtiss keychain is there, so I don't know what else to do to fix that.
I also have Firefox, but now that isn't working properly either. It keeps freezing and I have to Force Quit (at which point it's written in red text and says "Not Responding). This happens at least 2-3 times every time I try to use Firefox.
DVD Player is doing basically the same thing-- working very slowly or freezing-- and I have to Force Quit it as well. It also says "Not Responding" in red when this happens.
It's happened a few times with other applications, but with those three it's basically all the time. Can anyone give me any ideas of how to fix this?

Spotlight among other things will scan the bookmarks and add them to your list of bookmarks. To tell if Spotlight is still indexing, go to its menu (the blue circle with white magnifying glass in the upper right), and see if you see anything other than Spotlight and the search field when there is nothing in the search field telling you that indexing is happening. If you search for a known file and it isn't visible in Spotlight that could indicate your Spotlight index is corrupt. To reindex Spotlight, go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Spotlight, and remove and add the hard drive to the Privacy section.
If you are getting errors which can't be fixed with Keychain First Aid, and the problem seems to be especially bad with Safari, it suggests that the file that manages you cookies has gotten corrupt. How full is your hard disk?

It would depend on whether all of these base stations will be interconnected by Ethernet or by wireless and what your goal is with them.
In a roaming network, where all base stations would be connected by Ethernet, you could have 10+ base stations. Apple has never (at least to me) any limits on the number of base stations that can be used in this type of network.
In an extended network, where all of the base stations use wireless connections, the practical limit would be 4 or 5 base stations.

My web-based email downloads aren't working properly. Is this a plugin issue?

Either since upgrading to Firefox 4.0 (and updates) or getting Adobe Reader updates, my download configuration is no longer working properly. For example, when I am downloading (from my web-based email) attachments such as images, word docs, excel docs, this is what happens:
1) I am NOT asked if I want to Save or Open
2) The document opens awkwardly in the correct application, attempts to PRINT immediately, then quickly closes and re-opens in Adobe Reader!
I cancel the printing as quickly as I can, but am baffled. I'm guessing it's a plugin issue, but don't know how to resolve that.
I know it's a Firefox issue, because I tried in Opera and it works normally. Please help, thanks!

Widescreen dvds aren't working properly on my Television.

Help, please. I'm very new to this dvd creation business.
I currently have a movie I'm trying to put on a DVD. I manage to get it all the way on the dvd and it plays beautifully, except I'm getting the last two inches on each side of my movie chopped off every time. I've tried both the widescreen and standard settings and it just doesn't seem to work properly. I understand the tv safe mode in my menues. I'm not having a problem with that but what do I do about my movie itself? Chopped off subtitles are evil...
I'm currently using iMovie HD and iDVD from the iLife '06 package.

It plays normally on my Mac. It's the only thing it does play normally on no matter what settings I put either my tv or my dvd player on. I tried each setting for picture/screen view on both my television and my DVD player. I checked both the "Letterbox" and "Widescreen" options on both appliances. It still cuts off the edge.

Links do not work properly

I'm having an issue with some of my links in iweb. I have text boxes of the top of my pages and they are linked to other pages within the same site. I created everything in iweb. I have confirmed that all the settings are correct in the inspector page. When I upload to all to mobileme or within a folder on my hard drive, most of the links go back to my welcome page instead of the page it's linked to. Some of the links work and some do not.
Also, a side question: Is there a limit to how many pages iweb will support? Is there a limit to how much content iweb will support? Of course I know to stay within my mobileme limitations, but was wondering if iweb had a limit. Thanks.

Have you replaced the standard iWeb navigation with one that you built yourself?
You can have as much content and as many pages as you want within the limits of your server capacity.
It doesn't make sense to make your pages too long as viewers - like me - hate to scroll.
Once your website gets to more than a few pages you need to divide it into sections, each with its own sub menu. These main sections are easier to handle and upload if they are built on separate domain files.

Does it happen when you access those links from other places? Like this post. I have no problems seeing what's in there.
I would recommend to restart Firefox in Safe Mode to diagnose if there's any add-on that is causing this problem: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]
If this doesn't solve the issue, please try to clean the cache and cookies of Match.com: [[How to clear the Firefox cache]]

Link won't work properly

Hi,
I have made a website in iWeb, and uploaded it to my own webserver (so not to .mac).
The problem is that I cannot click all the links on my website. Check this out on http://www.joemuller.nl. Check the "contact" page, and the bottom links on "Daylife". It's a dutch site so not everyone will understand it.
I have tried to change colors, and change the layout, but nothing works.

The links (at the bottom) in your Daylife page don't work because you rotated the text links.
When you rotate text, iweb converts it into a rectangular graphic with the text being the diagonal, which makes the graphic much larger than you intended and the block each other.
open you daylife page and select all (command+a), you'll see the graphics are overlapping each other.

Linking Scenes Not Working Properly

Should be a simple, easy thing. I can't get this to work
inside my subnavigation. Could someone email me at nikki at

Let me clarify something:
Scenes are Only for authoring purpose , they are not included
in final SWF files.
Your movie become one long timeline once exported and Scene
basically are to give
an end to one and beginning to another timeline . So if you
have scene 1 with 100
frames and scene 2 with 100 frames, the scene 2 first frame
is not #1 but the following
number of first scene 101 . Plus there is no scene names upon
export so you can
target them with action.
Secondly, the above is not very correct. OnMouseDown it's a
global event and will
react regardless place you click. Unless of course it was the
idea in the first place
than disregard that.

Links aren't working/enabled on blackberry

I just found out that the links on my website are not working on blackberry's. I got a hold of a Curve and the main nave links, which are very striaght forward coding, are just not working - in that they are not "clickable". Here's the code for one of them -

I got a hold of a Blackberry Storm and the links worked on that device.
I have no idea what the issue might be and am hoping someone can enlighten me. I have other links using images that do work.

You have probably tried it - but do you know that you can tab through links and hit enter to go to the address? BBerry is working well on my websites.

Touchpad and keyboard aren't working properly][Only one battery charges

When charging cable is plugged in, I have no problems, but when I detach it, keyboard and touchpad stops working.If I put my flashdrive into keyboard dock it will do sounds like it's connecting and disconnecting looped. And the second weirdness: it shows that I don't have the second battery.. I checked it in bios and there were displayed two batteries(32wh and 33wh)..I wonder if it's really only one battery charging all the time.. I just bought it yesterday and it is killing me..

When the Tablet part is detached you will not see the other battery and it will not charge as it is detached. Links aren't opening properly

Hi everyone, in the past two months my iMac has started giving me a very annoying pop up window about half the time a click a link. Rather than simply opening the link I get a pop-up that asks me if I want to open in a new window, or open in a new tab, etc, instead of simply opening the link with one click like I've done forever with different computers. Any suggestions? Thanks

Oh dear, it's getting worse. Now I'm not confident that I did anything meaningful earlier - I've double-checked and it's not like an obvious box is/is not checked. I'll attach a screen shot of what is happening even if I'm trying to scroll through photos on a page - really crazy making. Note the pop up box that appeared when I was trying to advance through the photos using the blue arrow buttons. Mayday!

Layer Masks Aren't Working Properly

I frequently use layer masks in my work and have never had any problems with them. However, for the last few days, something weird has been happening.
I have used a large soft brush at 20% flow and 100% opacity and things seem to work until I look closely. No matter how many times I go over an area with the brush, there is still about 30% of the image showing (it's translucent). I have also tried to make a selection on the layer mask and fill it with black and it appears as if I only filled it with 60% black. I can fill it repeatedly with black with no change at all. The only way to over come this is to apply my layer mask to the layer and then erase what I don't want, which defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do.
I tried searching for some kind of setting that I may have inadvertently changed. Any ideas? This is driving me crazy!

Embedded fonts aren't working properly

I'm trying to create a PDF from MS Word using Acrobat Pro 10.1.4. I have it set in the Acrobat print driver to not rely on system fonts. To my knowledge, that's all I need to do to embed any fonts in the document.
On the machine I create it, the PDF shows up fine - but on other machines, most of the fonts do not show up properly. One of them might show up, the rest of them are either substituted with a normal font, or it's gibberish characters.
Some machines, it comes up without an error - other machines, I get an error for *one* of the fonts saying that it can't find or create it.
What's going wrong, and how do I properly embed all fonts?

If the file looks fine on the machine you create the PDF on then you have these fonts on your system.
So why are you not using the system fonts when you make the PDF?
This is what I would try:
1. Tell the Printer Driver to Use the fonts on your system.
2. Edit the job options - Adobe PDF Settings, Default Settings - Edit
Fonts Tab -- Make sure Embed All Fonts is selected,
Remove any fonts from the "Never Embed"
Save this Job Option and use it.
