Links category in Page Properties

In most of my pages, the Page Properties does not list
"Links" in Categories, so I am unable to change properties of links
- like eliminating underlining, or changing the color of visited
links, etc. The affected pages have Appearance, Title/Encoding and
Tracing Image categories, but no others. I cannot determine what
the difference is between the pages which still have Links
properties and those which do not. This has been the case for some
time with this site, and I am finally feeling frustrated by it and
want to change the way links look. Can anyone help me? I am using
Dreamweaver MX 2004.

How do you make the font of a link different to the link font in Page Properties?

In my case, I've designated links as Century Gothic, 16, black in Page Properties. I want most of the links on my page to be like that. However, there is one link that I'd like to look different (I want it to be size 12). How would I change that without changing the other links?

Hi Bob,
If the link change is only going to be happening on a single page, you might
want to take a look at using an internal style sheet or using a inline style to
achieve the look you seek.

Page Properties not working

When I try to change the link colors in page properties, it doesn't work, it keeps going back to default.
I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.5 for Mac

Over ride page properties?

Silly question i'm sure but how do I over ride a the page
properties for a link.
My page properties says on mouseover..make the link text
blue. I dont want this to happen on my footer links...so how would
I do this?
The CSS style i'm using for my footer links is:

font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10px;
color: #333333;
I want to over ride the page properties and keep it exactly
the same on hover...
Is it something like..

just copy the a: pseudo links in you style sheet
paste them to somewhere else, and prefix them with:
.footerGrey
.footerGrey a { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica,

Is there a way for my images that are links NOT to be denoted by whatever color i set my links to be in my page properties?

i have set my links to be black in my page properties. i have somes images that i am using for links and i do not want the to have a black box tracing their outline. it's messing up my design and tables. is there a way for my images that are links NOT to be denoted by whatever color i set my links to be in my page properties?

If you would like your NON-linked images to have a border, and only remove the border from linked images then this css:

Can i hide "Open Web Part Page in maintenance view" link when editing wiki page properties

I am working on an Enterprisewiki site collection inside SP 2013, and currently when contributor users edit the wiki page properties by going to "Page Option >> Edit Properties" , then will find the following link, named "Open Web Part
Page in maintenance view" which sound strange :-
so can anyone advice what is the purpose of this link and how i can remove it ?

If someone wants to open a wiki page in Web Part maintenance view then they can directly use this link to switch into the view and can directly delete problematic webparts from there.
To remove this link, you can try below jquery code in Content Editor webpart on Editform.aspx of wiki page library.

Link color change (beyond page properties/links or inline html mark-up)

Besides using the page properties to change all links on the page to a single color, is there a css style or some html code I can add sitewide (vs. inline mark-up for every single link) to override the blue link color and keep all links the color specified in the header and body styles?

Thanks bemdesign--it worked for the most part. But in my footer, the links are incorrectly changing their colors when displayed in IE. When displayed in the design view of DW, they are retaining their proper color without changing blue when I make them links.
Just before the text of the bottom row of my table, I added in the html code:

After the text, I closed it with

In my CSS, I added this code:

While this caused the color of the link in my html in DW to be retained as gray, in IE, it displays as blue. Why is this?

Problem editing text color and page properties due to favicon link

I recently added a link to a sites favicon using the link tag. Following advice on the net this was added beneath the HTML tag and before the HEAD tag. I was using a Dreamweaver template for the site and it updated all pages with the new link in the non-editable area above HEAD and just after the template declaration.
This was fine, unitl the user went to edit the site. He found that he could no longer get to page properties as he got an error that no page properties existed in editable areas... although there was an editable region for the page title. Also text color and highlighting were now disabled.
Moving the link tag into the head area has resolved the editing issue, but it seems a strange bug. Is there some way to add something between HTML and HEAD and have it appear before the InstanceBegin of the template?

You can edit text in any PDF by using trial version but as for as my knowledge and limited experience with Adobe I could not find any text color option in Adobe Acrobat. But you can highlight text in Adobe Acrobat. If you want to change the text color in PDF, I would like to recommend some another software which allows you to change the color of text and is available for download here.
Let me tell you how can change text color using this software. Open PDF file > go to "edit tab" > Click "edit" then highlight text to change the color. As you can see in the below screenshot.

A question about page properties

I am new to dreamweaver going through tutorial.
In the book it tells me to modify page properties. The pop up window on my computer shows up differently than in the book. see attachment of screen shot from my computer
In the book it is different.
1. Category - Appearance has controls for typography, that is not on mine
2 Category also shows access to Links and Headings between Appearance and Title/Encoding
I am working in dreamweaver 8 but have also opened up dreamweaver CS3 and it comes up the same way.
I use a Macbook Pro OS X.4.11.

I'm wondering if somehow toggling the HTML/CSS preferences might get your dialog box to match the one you see in the book. See this Help page for more info, make the switch, and then open the dialog box again to see if that works.

In the Property Inspector I open the Page Properties dialog
box and expect to see within the category list : Appearance, Links,
Headings, Title/Encoding, and Tracing Image. All I see is
Appearance. Titel/Encoding and Tracing Image. Under Appearance
again I would expect to be able to select a page font, and it
attributes but it starts right off with background image and its
attrbute. Any ideas why the font info is missing?

C4 Page Properties Problem

I use a table for my navigation links, one cell per link.
I set page properties-link to Never Underline, and change the
color for Rollover. Then published the page. I copied the cells
from one page to the next.
The first page

does not change color with the rollover.
The second page

changes color with rollover but shows the underline when the page
is viewed with Firefox, but not with IE7.
The third page

works as I have set page properties with both browsers.
Any guidance would be appreciated. I can get most everything
looking as I like except this navigation bar. I do not have access
to edit CSS from C4 or don't know how to do that. Please help.

i use to preview the pages the mozilla firefox 3.5.5 i tryed and the IE but is the same..
hmm lets try to focus on the background picture for a bit plz now..
llike before i created a new html and i went to page properties again and only change the background picture..
i changed the background picture to the appearance(CSS) category.on select image source window was checked the select file name from "File system"...URL:../images/1bersek01.jpg ...relative to Document..
thats all...i was analytical cause i dont know if this helps more..

Problem: when I run this page, chart is displayed. Now if I click on the series value of chart, it opens page ( '?p=&APP_ID.:2:&APP_SESSION.::::P2_ORACLESID,P2_CAP_DATE:&P15_ORACLESID.,'||capture_date link) It opens page 2 in new window. I want it to open in same window. Am I missing something ? Is this possible ? Is there anything I can change to achive this functionality

In Page properties window,the window is too small some part

Page Properties is not resizable. Sounds like the user has
their system
fonts set to large.

How to add link to specific page in another PDF

I'd like to create a link within a PDF to a specific page in a different PDF. As far as I can tell, the Create Link tool will only allow me to open another PDF on page 1. I know you can link to another page in the current PDF, but I need to link to a separate PDF. I have also found info on mechanisms for opening to different pages, but these are for opening using browsers or code.
So, is it possible to link create a link in a PDF to a specific page in another PDF?

Try this...
You can link to a specific page in a specific PDF from a bookmark. You navigate to the new view (page of a PDF) when creating the bookmark.
When you want to do that with a link (as in selected text in the body of the PDF) you have to do it in two steps. Use any file open to create the link, then edit the properties of the link, select the Action tab, and change the action to Go To A Page View.
That's how it works in Acrobat 8, but I'm betting it's the same in 7.

DW CS3 Page Properties problem - I don't have font, repeat options

I have been following some online tutorials and they are also in CS3, DW but my page properties layout and options are different within the program.
Is there something that needs updating/ downloading turning on in an advanced option? I have looked over the web and can find others with the same problem but not a solution.
Hope you can help.
The link below at the bottom of the page on the left has a thumb nail of the properties page which matches mine, note no repeat, font and other options are missing compared to others and I imagine yours.

I had the same problem although it was a previous update rather than this one that caused the problem. Just hadn't got round to doing something about it - was using Bing images instead.
I searched for some answers this morning and seemed like most suggestions were a nuisance to try. Couldn't find 'Preferences button of HTTPS-Everywhere' as suggested above. Decided to check if No Script was blocking it. Sure enough. So problem is solved.
Thought I'd put it out there in case it helps someone else. Appreciate that people are so helpful on here.
