List of open contracts/sales orders

Hi friends ,
Can we generate a report based on partner function?
Say i have a additional partner function other than SP/SH/BP/PY....i have a customer(AAA)who carries SP/SH/BP/PY functions and sells the material to his customer(Y).If i add customer(Y) as a partner function in the customer master of AAA,can i generate the open contract or total sales for that customer based on the partner function Y?
Thanks
Ivy

Hi ! Ivy
I guess there is a option.
Try this out. Use the menu path IMG> Sales & Distribution> Sales> Lists> Set updating of partner index
In the resulting screen, click on 'New Entries' make entries 0 - for sales orders and 4 - for contracts as transaction group. Under the column 'partner function' ener the partner function for which you want the report and save your entries.
Now when you go for executing your report, click on the push button 'Partner functions' ( Say in VA05) , you will have the option for selecting the new partner functions , select and execute your report.
Provide your feedback.

  • My customer is looking for a comp. open (unbilled) sales order line report

    Hello:
My customer wants a listing of open (unbilled) sales order lines.  List of everything they have ordered and do not have a bill for yet.  That seems to be spread between 'Open' Sales Orders - see VA05 (no outbound delivery created yet) AND outbound deliveries that have not yet been billed - see VL06O with Billing Status not completely processed.
How can both of these be merged into one?
Is there something else that can show this TOTAL picture?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
To show all picture you can go for z report

  • Where do we find open return sales order list

    HI gurus
where do we find open return sales order list whihc have not yet been issued to credit note. and where do we find

    hello, friend.
use VA05.  you can specify the document type by clicking on 'further selection criteria' on the initial screen.  you can further click 'open orders'.
when the sales returns is displayed in the following screen, look for the status column.  if the entry is 'A', then no inbound delivery has been done yet (but you could not say if credit memo has been issued or not).  if the entry is 'B', inbound delivery has been done but not the credit memo.  if the entry is 'C', both inbound delivery and credit note have been done.
    regards.

  • Open a Sales Order on statistical WBS element. How?

    Hi,
I tried to open a sales order on a statistical WBS element but the system shows me an error saying I can't open it because the WBS is statistical.
Could it be a problem of Controlling Area or Operating Cornern?
Is there a setting that allow me to open a sales order on statistical WBS element?
    Thanks,
    Diego

To best of my knowledge, WBS is only a search criteria if u wish u take a doc as ref. in sales order. this ref. will happen only if the previous doc is prepared with ref to WBS. may be at header or item level. but i wonder how will it track the doc if there are multiple WBS in previous doc. u can assign WBS in account assignment tab page.
I wonder if i have helped u with my answer.

  • Open standing sales order

    Hello Guys,
iam migrating open standing sales order using LSMW standard object bapi_salesorder_createfromdata2.i just want to confirm from you experts whether iam using correct standard object and also i would like to know the difference between salesorder, standing sales order and open standing sales order.please help me guys.your help is greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Janapathi

I think that standing sales order might be related to like a blanket order or scheduling aggreement.  So to your customer, they would have a requirement to have 100 widgets shipped to them every other week, and they would have a "scheduling aggreement" or blanket PO in there system, which in turn would correspond to a "Standing sales order" in your system, so that you would ship them 100 widgets every other week and the deliveries and shipments would be against this one sales order over and over again.  I think it may be releated to this kind of process.

  • Migrate Open items - Sales orders/ purchase orders and unbilled deliveries

    Hello All
Can you please tell me the best practice to migrate open sales orders, purchase orders and deliveries due for billing at Cutover to the new system?
Also how can the historical data be migrated? What all comes under historical data?
    Many Thanks
    CM

The way the sales order data is migrated is largely dependent on the number of orders you are intending to migrate. 'Best practice' would suggest you do the following:
    1) Do not migrate any completed orders (they should be kept as 'read only' in the legacy system)
    2) Get the business to close as many orders as possible before the cutover
    3) Stop entry of any new orders during the cutover the period - hold them back and enter them directly into SAP.
Once you have a manageable numebr of orders to migrate you really have two options:
Upload the basic order into SAP (we have usually done this from a spreadsheet using ALE or some similar tool). The basic data is confirmed to order type, order number, order date, customer number, material code and quantity. Any data in addition to this is then added manually to the system by the users e.g. pricing info (this is really important as pricing data is really difficult to map). To do this you will need to have sequenced this correctly e.g. ensuring that the data and config for both the materials and customers are all already in the system before you load the orders.
The second option would be to load them all completely manually - which is why I said at the beginning that really, the best approach is determined by the quantity of orders you need to migrate.
I am sure other people will have used other methods but these two are the ones we usually use.
(edit) P.S. you must remember that 'open' sales orders are any orders that are not yet billed so even if an order is delivered in your legacy system if it has not been invoiced you MAY need to migrate it. But as I metioned at the beginning - it would really be better to complete that order (i.e. bill it) before you close the legacy system so that it does not need to be migrated.
    ========
For deliveries - again, there is no simple fix for this. Because the migration of a delivery demands the migration of an open sales order, the best approach is probably to load the sales order basic data, get the users to complete the sales orders (as described above) and then run the delivery due lists or manually and individually deliver each sales order item.
You cannot migrate ONLY the deliveries, you need to migrate the preceeding order(s) as well. But, again, if you take the approach of closing as many as possible in the legacy system, it will be much easier than migrating them.

  • Purchase Orders against Contracts/Sales Orders report

One of our divisions creates long term Contracts against which there are potentially hundreds of Purchase Orders created as the work continues. I have seen reports of POs for material group (ME2C), vendor (ME2L) and more but is there one that will list POs for a Contract or Sales Order.
Apologies if I'm missing something obvious but I must admit I cannot seem to see it if it does exist.
    Many thanks in advance

  • Billing Due List shows third party sales orders that have no SGR

    Hello,
I've run into an issue where the billing due list (VF04) shows sales documents that have not gone through statistical goods receipt.  In our normal flow we create a sales order, which automatically creates a purchase requisition (PR).  We create a purchase order (PO) from the PR and when we generate a shipping notification (ASN) we also do a statistical goods receipt, which kicks off billing.
Normally items show up in the billing due list based on the billing type of the sales order item category.  In this case that indicator is B - relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity.  My understanding is that it should not show up in the billing due list until goods receipt, which is not happening for us.  We're seeing sales orders based on non-SGR'd PO's in the billing due list.
Also, in sales to billing copy control (vtfa) the billing quantity indicator is E - Goods receipt less invoiced quantity.
Any ideas?  Have I provided enough info?  Thanks in advance!

    Kapil,
Thank you very much!  However, a setting of 'F' only seems to show line items in the Billing Due List after I create a vendor invoice.  We are not using vendor invoices for our process and I want items to show up in the Billing Due List after the GRN.  Are you saying that you think items should show up in the Billing Due List after the GRN?  I know SAP doco kind hints to that, but I did try a setting of 'F' and it does not work; the items only show up after I create a vendor invoice.
Any other info or guidance is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • Contract- sales order

    Hi all,
i created a value contract for 50,000 USD.
w.r.t this contract i created a sales order for 40,000 USD.
now in the contract the released value is showing as 40,000 USD and Target value as 50,000 USD.
when i change the target value as 30,000USD(less than released value) system accpted, but in this case system should not accept the less value.
    how to do this?
    cheers

    Hi,
Contract order is always like a quotation in SAP.  so wrt quotation any business accepts more than quotation value generally.  in some cases like urs we need to restrict that upto the contract value.  in such scenarios please take  ur tech consultant help and make it as error.  I made for qty contracts.  this message will not come under message variables in customization (IMG) so take tech consultant help.  Hope u get it.
