List of phone calls

I was wondering if there is a way that I can get a list of calls that I have made from my land line for a specific date. I have unlimited service for both my local and long distance and tried to use the custom report.but nothing shows up. Do I have to call customer service to do this?

Real life is not what you routinely see in the movies or on TV.
Generally, if you have Flat Rate service (no charge for local calls) the phone company DOES NOT keep a record of individual calls but instead 'Bulk Bills' for the monthly flat rate. If you have Measured Rate service the phone company must keep a record of each call for billing purposes for 90 days.
In certain regional jurisdictions a phone company is required to keep a record of all calls made regardless of the specific class of service/billing a given subscriber has.
However, while certain billing/calling information may be available to law enforcement agencies under court order, it is generally NOT AVAILABLE to any individuals after the 30 day bill is rendered.

  • Reject list for phone calls

I been getting unknown calls, and i wanted to know how do i set a reject list for these calls?

    You don't.
You can check with your wireless provider and see if they offer such a service.

  • I want to make the black list for phone call in as...

I am in trouble, sometime some of the unwanted person call me, and it so bad for me. I want official and stable program free or pay all i want.

Incoming call block? There isn't any way. Only if your operator allows that. Ask them. They usually have a paid service to block unwanted calls.

  • Can I see a list of today's phone calls?

Can I see online a list of phone calls made from my phone today?  I see that on "myverizon" I can get a list of phone calls made through the last bill.  How do I get a list that includes today's phone calls?

Log in to your on-line MyVerizon account and look under My Usage, then click the blue Usage Details.  Sometimes the log lags, though, sometimes by hours, every now and then (particularly at the start of your billing cycle) by a day or two.

  • On an iphone 4s, when I tap the phone number in my contacts list instead of calling the number it goes to a "Welcome to mail screen" how do I make it call the number instead?

On an iphone 4s, when I tap the phone number in my contacts list instead of calling the number it goes to a "Welcome to mail" screen with icloud, Microsoft exchange, Gmail, Yahoo, Aol & Windows Live Hotmail listed beneath. How do I make it call the number instead?

Never heard of that.  I suspect it thinks that's an email address and you're seeing that screen b/c you don't have an email account setup on your iPhone.
Assuming the number is valid, try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

  • Font in call list as well as individual phone details is too small. I have increased contacts but it seems impossible to increase phone caller list and individual info details of contacts ?

Is it a way to increase from iphone 5 the phone caller list and individual info details of the contacts? I can increase font for Contacts but not for the caller list nor individual info details of contacts.

No JG9, no remedy yet. Still hoping.
I'm wondering if we should ask help from RIM instead of other users, as this is obviously glitch of the device, not tips ans tricks we want to learn.

  • Phone number not listed in Imessage Caller Id

Okay i'm having a problem with my texts being sent as my email address using Imessage instead of my phone number.   The problem is when I go into settings, messages, received at ect....  My phone number isn't listed there.  It only has my email!  It also doesn't allow me to select the email to delete it.  My phone number is listed under phone in the phone settings, and will also show up as my number if I turn the imessage off.   The country seems to be set up correctly and I have verizon so I can't take out a sim card.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

Just thought I'd let everybody know how it finally got resolved 1 week later!
After trying absolutely everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that Apple support, apple forums etc told me to do, the only thing that worked was turning iMessage off, waiting for at least 24 hours at then turning iMessage back on.
It activated itself within a few minutes, no dramas at all!
    Hope this helps!

  • How do I make a phone call from iPad?

I set up my iPhone 5S personal hotspot, then link to it on the iPad (both running iOS 8). I can access the internet from the iPad, but cannot make a FaceTime phone call. Did I misunderstand the Keynote address that this would be possible with iOS 8?

    Joe,
I hope you can help as I have the same issue.  First the basics: my iPhone 5 and iPad Air both have iOS 8 installed (there are still three family devices on the same apple id/icloud account that are not yet on iOS 8).  Both devices list the same phone number in Messages and FaceTime and both those apps use the same iCloud account.  Both devices are on the same wifi network.
But when I get a call on my iPhone, the iPad most definitely does not give me the option to respond.  And nothing happens when I try to tap on a contact on the iPad.  :-( :-(
I went through the links above and note a couple odd things.  For instance, the user guide says:
"Disable iPhone Cellular Calls.  On your iPhone, go to Settings > FaceTime, then turn off iPhone Cellular Calls"
When I go to my iPhone's Settings->FaceTime, there is no option to "turn off iPhone Cellular Calls".  What are they talking about?
In the third link, the instructions for making phone calls have a fourth step:
         4. Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off.
What does that mean?  Where do I look to make sure it's off?
As an aside, I'm writing this from my 2010 MBP running Yosemite beta 3 and there appears to be no connection between it and my nearby iPhone either.  My MBP is on the same wifi network as the iPhone and both the Mac's FaceTime and Messages have the same phone # set as on the iPhone.  But when I go into the address book and look up a contact, no "phone" icon/button shows up next to the contact's phone number.  When  a call comes into the iPhone, nothing happens on the mac.

  • Can I use Magic Jack for BOTH phone calls and Fax. Is Magic jack PLUS BETTER.

I am using the Magic Jack for regular phone calls. Now, I want to use it for Faxing in and out - on Windows - on a wireless connection to my Officejet 8600 Pro Plus. I see a lot of problems in the forum. Is it easier to buy and use the new Magi Jack PRO. AND. PLEASE, Does anyone have instructions for the installation and use?

I'm going to be up front and straight forward with you.  Magic Jack, does not work with faxing 90% of the time.  It's not designed to.  That being said, you still have to have a phone line plugged into the printer to fax.  There is no such thing as wireless faxing.  There is internet faxing, through companies such as eFax, and you can use eFax wirelessly form the front panel of select printers.  The 8600 is not one of those printers though.  The printers that include the eFax app are in the PhotoSmart line.  Now that you know all of that, you can try to get faxing to work with magic jack, but it' most likely not going to work.  Here is a list of the things you can try:
Fist make sure you have a DSL/Digital filter installed in the line.  Next, set the fax speed to slow.  You can find steps in this document that will help with that.  Last make sure the ECM (Error Correction Mode) is off.  To turn off the ECM:
From the home screen, touch the right arrow.
    Touch setup.
    Touch fax setup.
    Touch advanced fax setup.
    Scroll down to ECM.
    Touch ECM.
    Touch off.
    Touch the home button.
That's about all you can do to get it to work, and even then it's not guaranteed at all.  Like I said, Magic Jack does not work with faxing.

  • How many lies can BT tell in one phone call?

Yesterday I had extremely slow broadband (dropping to 0.2Mbps)  I phoned the people in India who imformed me that this was due to engineers upgrading my exchange.  I questioned why they would be doing this work at 6:20 on a saturday night and was told that it was normal to carry out planned work at this time.  I asked what upgrade was being carried out and was told that the exchange was being upgraded to 21cn, this was carried out in June.  He then told me that my line would be upgraded to ADSL 2+ on the 25th Sept.  This does not explain why my speed dropped so much.  After I told him that I was sick of all the lies BT had told me over the phone (probably now in treble figures over the last 6 months) and wanted to leave BT, he told me not to be too hasty as Infinity will be available at my address by the end of the year, yet another lie as I have spoken to Mike Galvin, the executive at Openreach who decides which exchanges get left behind, and he told me that my exchange is not in the upgrade program.  I was also told this by Olivia Garfield, the CEO of Openreach.  Also, the BT website, samknows and any other site you wish to check says that we are not in the frame for an upgrade and they list upto the end of next year.  He then had the cheek to get offended when I told him this.  I have had nothing but lies from BT since I contacted them to set up my phone and broadband, infact I would not have been a BT customer if I had not fallen for their lies.  Has anybody else had a similar experience or has anybody actually been told the truth?

I haven't had this experience but I'm writing on this forum on behalf of my sister, who is unable to do so herself as she currenty has no internet access, courtesy of BT.
Her story begins with a phone call from BT - she was a Virginmedia customer with phone, internet and cable TV for £40 - the sales person offered her the 'full package' and said that she would get more choice of films, sky sport - exactly the same unlimited calls and internet access as with Virgin and all for £10 a month less. My sister is a disabled pensioner...but even I would probably have fallen for this as it sounds like a great deal doesn't it? Unfortunately it didn't quite turn out that way - the phone was taken over by BT and even though the salesperson said they would take care of cancelling Virgin etc it appears they didn't!( So whilst using BT she was still being charged by Virgin for 3 months..but that's another story)
The BT guy turned up to fit a BT vision box - it hadn't been delivered - he then advised that she'd need to have an aerial fitted for him to be able to set up the box(when it arrives!) he estimated cost around £100....are they kidding? Of course none of this was mentioned on the phone call...surely this one question from the salesperson would have stopped her going ahead with her BT order.....um, yeah, that's probably why it was never asked. So she can't have BT Vision - turns out she doesn't get unlimited calls or unlimited internet access either. She had carried on using her phone(same usage as £40 from Virgin) and racked up a large bill with BT.Has complained to BT, as a pensioner she can't afford the kind of bills they keep sending her. She now owes £330 allegedly...and has had her phone and internet cut off!!!Disgraceful BT.If we try to call you, as soon as her telephone number is entered it takes you straight to a recorded payment message...in other words.... we don't want to speak to you until you have paid your bill.
Despite letters and requests for the recording of the conversation from BT nothing has been sorted out - except for a 'contract' change, which she knew nothing about. It seems that BT salespeople are misleading people in an effort to make their sales............yes, lie after lie after lie.
Sorry to hear you've had similar problems -when are they going to realise that this kind of thing is bad for business?????Theor top dogs must be so out of touch if they don't realise the damage that's being caysed to their reputation.Crazy!!!

  • When I receive a phone call from a new number, how do I save that number to my contacts?

When I receieve a phone call from a new number, is it possible to save that number from the incoming calls screen? Can I create a contact from the number itself without having to go to the contact list and write the number in manually?

Thank you so much. I feel like an idiot for not figuring that out on my own, it is so simple.  But I really, really appreciate this. Thank you!!!

  • Since upgrading my phone to 6.0.1, I'm using way too much data. I believe it's the podcast app that's not loading shows while I'm connected to wifi. I have the 3g turned off for podcasts??? also after a phone call or an alert it starts playing a podcast?

I've also had the same issues, after upgrading to IOS 6.0, the apps in my iPhone 4 were crashing and the battery life run out very fast.
The only solution worked for me was to remove all mail accounts (Exchange/Gmail) from my iPhone (in settings) and then add them back.
The crashing were stopped! also the battery was back to normal.
I found the solution by first looking at the crash logs (in IOS 6). you can find them at Settings -> General -> About (at the bottom of the About menu you will find the option that opens the logs).
There i saw many logs about Low Memory crash. 99% of the logs were pointed that the largest process (use the most memory) during the crashes is "dataaccessd".
I search in the web and found that this process is a deamon process that reponsible the Mail accounts (like Exchange/Gmail) and contancts list.
I've installed the app "System Status - activity monitor" which shows important system info like CPU usage, Memory usage and running processes.
Before apply my solution (deleting the mail accounts) i saw that the CPU usage was very high which consume the battery very fast. Also i saw that the memory (RAM) was run out.. which probably what cause the crashing..
After deleting the mail accounts (at Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars) i check again with the System Status app, and saw that the memory and CPU were back to normal.
Adding the mail accounts back, still everything work ok
Hope this solution will help you too,
    Enjoy!

  • Can I push and execute a list of phone numbers to an IP Phone?

    Hi,
I want to build a .net application which will push a list of phone numbers to an IP phone and execute this list serially.
That means that after the end of a call in the list the next call will be generated.
    Can this be done ?
    Thanks
    D.E.

You mean you want an outbound dialler.. just like it's being used in a call center?
That is most definitely a case for CTI.. you need to know when one call ends and when to make another one and the only way to do this (well, you could do phone polling, but that's nasty and unreliable) is CTI. And you also need to consider how cell centers work... agents need to be able to hit a pause button for their coffee / cigarette /bathroom breaks, they need wrapup time, etc.
Or you could do predictive outbound dialling, where you use a bunch of CTI ports to make outgoing calls, then route them to an agent if a call is connected.. but considering the amount of time you're going to invest versus what's already on the market in terms of call center solutions, I'd only do it as an academic project or if none of the existing solutions really do what you need done (with predictive outbound dialling goes a metric to decide how much you overbook your agents (make more calls than you have agents since not every call will be answered), and a VAD (a connect doesn't mean there's a human being on the other end.. there could be a fax or modem and you don't want those calls connected to your agents).
Or am I completely on the wrong track here with the whole Callcenter approach and you're looking for something else entirely?
