  • Problem in Extending the article to different sites using listing procedure

    Hi,
I am Using IS retail for a book Industry. I have created one listing procedure and Assigned the lsiting procedure in General Assortment. Also I assigned the merchandising catagories and the assortment users(sites) to the assortment.
But when I assign the above Listing procedure to the article, while creation, the article is not getting extended to the whatever sites I assinged to the assortment in the form Assortment user. The article is created for only that site for which i give at the T.code MM41.
Can somebody Pls, guide me what is the setting i missed, so that article is not getting extended to diffrennt sites.
    Rgds,
    Raghavendra.

    Hi Raghu,
Check first that  articles are getting listed and getting updated in the tables.
u can use t.code WSLB to check assortment for the user .Copy the aasortments for the site and check in table WLK1 if article exists in the assortment.
If everything is fine then check if any marc enteries are missing thru program RWDIFFERENCEMARCWLK1.
i it is missing then u can maintain the views for the article in article master.
    note :
Listing of article doesnt means that article is maintained for the site.
First u have to maintain the article i.e maintain the vies in the article master and after thatlist the article.

  • Listing in SAP Retail

    Hello,
We have 5 different distribution chains in our Retail system. The materials that I need to extend and list have already been extended to 3 out of 5 distribution chains in the past. We do not want to extend them to remaining 2 out of 5 existing distribution chains. I need to do listing of existing materials to new 6th distribution chain 4012/01.
Out of the thousands of articles we have, 400 articles have the Listing data (mm43 listing tab) created at client level after they were listed to the 3 distribution chains. When I try to list these materials to the new 4012/01, the system tries to list these materials to all remaining distribution chains (since Listing data is at client level).
Is there any way to get rid of the Listing data created at client level in article master? I believe table MAW1 has the data at client level and simply making the assortment grade, listing procedures, validity dates (i.e. listing specific fields) blank fixes the problem. After doing this, I am able to list only to the distribution chain I provide, i.e. 4012/01.
Is it ok to make changes to MAW1 directly? Will it make the article inconsistent in any way for other existing distribution chains or be detrimental in any way? Or any better way to do this?
    Thanks
    Sagar

    Hello Sagar.
Is not ok to make changes in MAW1 or any other table. This can cause serious inconsistency problems and can put the whole retail system in jeopardy.
On the other hand, you can suspend an article at distribution chain level. This will delete not only the listing data, but all data regarding to the specified distribution chain. Check this at the article master menu.
Assortment grade rules and assortment grades are supplied to automatically list, or not list, articles at distribution chains or sites. Check this functionality, this will help a lot in your listing requirements.

  • Problem with Listing of Articles in Assortment Management

    Hi,
I am new to SAP IS Retail. In fact new to SAP itself.
I was working on Assortment Management.
I created my own Merch. Category  and created products under them.
In Assort.Management I progressed in following way [ as mentioned in the Best Practices document ] -
    1. I have created a General Assortment using WSOA1[The layout module was also created immediately].
    2. I created the layout module version using WLMVN
3.Article assignment to layout module and assortment using WLWBN.
    4. Assigned the assortment user [ through WSOA6]
    5. Release layout module and created listing condition[ by WLWBN again]
    6. When I do listing for the articles under the assortment , it shows me the message - listing is started.
But if I see in WSL11 with the Merch. Category / Assortment name, the system says - No listing condition found.
Question is - What could be the issue here ?
It would be really helpful if anyone can sort this issue out. I am stuck at this point.

    Hi Eric,
I am using Listing procedure B1.[ Basic procedure : mat grp / assortment ]

  • SQL Procedures for dimension maintenance?

I can't seem to find any stored procedures for refreshing dimensions & measures in 10.2. Looking at version 10.1 of the OLAP reference lists procedures such as:
execute dbms_awm.refresh_awdimension ('MYSCHEMA', 'MYAW', 'AW_PROD');Is there an equivalent in 10.2.0.3? The OLAP reference docs have changed quite significantly from 10.1 to 10.2, so I'd assume so too has the database and the methods it uses to refresh structure. Docs for 10.2 don't appear to mention refreshing structure anywhere.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? We're essentially looking for the same functionality as is provided in AWM's Maintain Dimension/Measure wizards, only called from our own application.
    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Hi,
Have you tried having AWM creating a maintenance script for you?
In the end of the maintenance wizard theres an option for selecting "create to script" or something similar.
This will generate an anonymous PL/SQL block you can put into whatever procedure or application you want as long as it can run PL/SQL.

  • About material listing and exclusion?

    Hi,
I set material Listing and Exclusion procedure to a order type, the exclusion procedure is work well, but the listing procedure do nothing, actually I really don't know what the   listing means. is it possible to limit only a group customers can create this kind of sales order ?
    Thanks,
    Lance

    hi,
basically there are two things will be maintained by the organisation.
    1. listing and
    2.exclusion.
listing means where the items/materials are listed- represents the material available in the company.
exclusion- where the items/materials removed from the company's list.- material is not available in the organisation.
but in standard SAP, if u r maintained the same material for listing and as well as the exclusion, it considers only exclusion. in that case, u have to go to VB02, and remove the material/items from the exclusion list, so that it item will determines in the sales order while u r creating.
plz. assign those listing/exclusion procedure to ur standard document types. and maintain the condition record thru VB01.
i hope the concept of listing/exclusion will make you understand after u read this above information.
reward points if it is useful.
    regards

  • List article in only one site

    Hi gurus,
Can somone advise or suggest us in defining a new one or a standard sap listing procedure where it should be listed to only one specific site.
example article X in article master should be listed only in one site b001 upon executing listing procedure in MM42.
    Any ideas or suggestions gurus,
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Gopio.
Edited by: Naga Gopathi on Mar 17, 2010 9:04 PM

    Hi Kumar,
Thanks for the reply, Actually our requirement is when we are in MM41 creation of article and user clicks the button EXECUTE LISTING, system should list the given article in only one site.
I have created a local assortment and maintained the site in assortment user, now when i execute listing in mm41, system is listing article in each site we have.
If this information is enough or please advise me if you need more information.
The listing procedures i have tried was B1 and maintained same in site master data and assortment.
We want to achieve this in single t-code while creating the article?
Hope this helps and any suggestions or ideas,
    Thank you,

  • Validations based on Listing

    Hi Experts,
We are developing a custom program to upload the Lower and Capacity values for the SKU's in a custom table for every store.
While uploading the data, we want to put a validation based on the Listing, so that we can put a check while updating the table.
The reason being, if a particular SKU is not listed for a Store, then we don't want that SKU be updated in the table ( for reduced table value maintenance).
We are using Listing procedure B3 by default for all SKU's in the article master.
But I am not sure, how to put a validation check here.
Could you please help me in this scenario?
    Regards
    Nainar

    Hi Nainar,
please have a look at function module WLK1_CHECK to integrate that in your custom program. But logic can a little bit difficult as listing conditions are time-dependent (e.g. no longer valid or valid in the future). So you have to decide how to react in which case.
From your description, it is not clear how often you want to upload your data and how often listing changes occur, etc.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards
    Tobias

    Best Regards,

  • Automatic removal of articles from listing

    Hello,
We have SAP Retail implemented since 2011.
Due to the Company's growth strategy we are enhancing and improving the use of Retail functionalities.
What was customized in a very simple way needs now to be adjusted to support a larger operation.
Currently there is one General assortment where all materials and sites are assigned to. The listing is created and materials connected to a module are linked to the assortment.
Some questions regarding implementation and system functionality arised with the need to review customizing and current implementation scenario:
1 - According to documentation it is possible to have automatic listing procedures. Would it be possible to unlist one material for a specific purpose? For example, if the material is not procured or sold in the past 3 months, we would like it to be automatically removed from the assortment.
2 - How to prevent CD from 'any' external procurement for a material or a group of materials?
In this case there still may be the scenario where stores have to return improper goods to CD. Stores are considered as Vendors in this case, so is our CD. I need to be able to differentiate the CD trying to procure externally from stores returning improper goods to the CD.
3 - Where can I find documentation about the tables flows and relationships during the listing , articles deactivation, assortment changes, articles removed from assortments...and so on. I would like to have the big picture about Retail tables during major materials changes.
4 - Is there a Best Practice document for using SAP Retail apart from SAP Help?
I appreciate your attention and any assistance you can provide.
    Best Regards,
    Claudia

    Hi Uma,
I don't think there is any such program available in SAP as if user is expired then anyway system will not allow him to login and if user is valid then there is no need of performing this action separately as by logic it is same as role removal and should be handled as per standard logic.
    Hope this helps.

  • Listing not working

    Hello Gurus,
I am new on SAP, around 4 months, and I am having some problems related to the assortment/listing methods, that suddenly stopped working.
I did the mass load of the articles and then the assortment using the T-code WLWBN (later I learned that I could have used the WSM3). At first was all fine, I was able to create POs to all the plants listed in the assortment.
When already in production the users begun to create the articles manually and now even if I do the Individual Listing using T-code WSP4 it wont work.
I started the investigation and noticed that the two DC plants were not set to "B" on the table T001W-VLFKZ and I still haven´t found how to change it. I did some modifications on the WB02 for the plant but nothing changed. I do not know how this could influence on the listing process but yes, I also have to fix it, currently there is none DC set on the system.
Now, every time the users want to use the article in a different plant I have to add manually in the Logistics:store view on the article master.
Currently they are not using hierarchy on the articles, so I am using the generic listing.
Also, I haven´t done anything on the t-code REFSITE, but I not sure if this could influence.
Please, forgive the lack of information. But any idea where else I can check?
Have to solve this asap and any information is welcome.
    Best regards.

Hi Paul, let me try to answer it all.
    1 - How many Stores?
         Currently they have 45 stores
    2 - How many DC?
They should have 2 DCs, but these two were created as stores by mistake and I still unable to change it      without causing a bigger problem. You might ask why we allowed this to go in Production, well, I don´t know.
3 - Do you really need the granularity and control of listing conditions that is afforded by using Layout Workbench?  Or could you get by with a much less data maintenance intensive solution.
What we done until fix the assortment is create a program that (like a LWMS) that the user insert the article and the program add all the stores (including the DCs) into the material, in the logistic tab and then Validity area.
4 - What listing procedure is maintained for your DC (WB02, Listing Tab)?
None, is it necessary since the assortment already have this information?
5 - What listing procedure is maintained for your Stores (WB02, Listing Tab)?
    Also none
6 - What listing procedure is maintained on the general assortment module for your Stores (WSOA2, Basic Data)?
    K1
7 - For an article that will not list to the Stores, what listing procedure is maintained (MM42, Listing Tab, Store Listing - Listing Procedure)?   Usually this can be maintained at the basic data level; do not specify a sales org and distribution channel.
    K1
8 - For an article that will not list to the DC, what listing procedure is maintained (MM42, Listing Tab, Listing DC - Listing Procedure)?  Usually this can be maintained at the basic data level; do not specify a sales org and distribution channel.
    K1
Well, you are right. They will have the whole retail configuration in plane only next year, for now they will handle only non stock materials.
For now it is "working" without the assortment, but I wanted at least the listing to the plants to be working.

  • Unable to List through WSM3

    Hi All,
The problem I am facing currently is while i try to list the articles through wsm3 following is the error i am getting.  "RULES DO NOT ALLOW LISTING".
Settings already existing in the system:
    1. Listing Procedure of the Assortment used for listing is B1.
    2. Listing Procedure of the site used in listing is also B1.
    3. Listing Procedure of the Article master also B1.
Then i tried to list the article though the article master Listing page. Somehow the Article got listed.
May i know whats the mistake i did and how can i rectify to overcome the issue. Pls advice.
    Thanks & Regards,

What options did you choose in WSM3?
Article     *     Enter an asterisk to consider all articles.
    Listing Procedure     B1
    Listing Valid From     SYSTEM DATE
    Listing Valid To     12/31/2999
Select By Art. Listing Date     X
Note Article Listing Proc.     X     Execution of Listing will consider the listing procedure denoted on the article master.
What options did you choose when you executed listing in MM41 or MM42?   Did you check the box "Maintan Assorts Manually" ( That would be "cheating" and will never apply in WSM3    )   or did you just click the execute button?
As for the rules, there are many that must be satisfied when B1 is used.
This listing procedure requires configuration for assortment grade levels and creation of general assortment module(s).
Among the factors that the listing procedure considers or can consider are:
-- Configuration of Assortment Grade levels
-- Assortment grade designation of the article, as displayed on the Listing tab of the article
-- Merchandise Category / Assortment Grade levels assigned to general assortment module(s)
-- Effective dates of general assortment module(s)
-- Which Sites assigned to which general assortment modules
-- Merchandise categories assigned to sites
Can you give an an example and consider the article:
    - What assortment grade is designated on the article master
    - What merchandise category (MC) is it?
    - Is that MC assigned to the site?
    - What general assortment module did you expect to create the listing (i.e. is the site assigned to the General Assortment Module, is the MC assigned to the General Assortment Module, and what is the assortment grade for that MC in the General Assortment Module?
