Lists in DW CS4

Question

I'm having problems creating unordered lists in DW CS4. It looks fine, until I preview the page in the browser (IE), and then the bullets don't align properly (see image below). Does anybody have any ideas?

The style that I'm using for the unordered list is:
.bullet1 {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10pt;
font-weight: normal;
line-height: 15pt;
color: #000;
text-decoration: none;
width: 75%;
float: none;
left: 30px;
top: 10px;
The sentence that introduces the list uses the following style:
.Text {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10pt;
font-weight: normal;
line-height: 15pt;
color: #000;
width: 75%;
float: none;

Restating default styles not only makes your CSS voluminous, it can also make it very confusing.  Your CSS could be this with the same effect -
.bullet1 {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10pt;
line-height: 15pt;
color: #000;
width: 75%;
The sentence that introduces the list uses the following style:
.Text {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10pt;
line-height: 15pt;
color: #000;
width: 75%;
Further, had you applied the font styles to a containing parent element, you could reduce your CSS to this -
.bullet1 {
width: 75%;
The sentence that introduces the list uses the following style:
.Text {
width: 75%;
Bear in mind that percentage widths are cumulative, so if .Text is inside of .bullet1, it will have a width of 75% of 75%.
Anyhow, we'd need to see the entirety of your page and its CSS to determine why your bullets are misplaced....
