Little parasite noise sound coming out of the Ipod when charging
When the Ipod is plugged to the wall charger, there's a little parasite sound coming out. It's barely audible but I wonder if it's normal?
This is a normal sound when charging the iPod, in fact almost all electronics give off a faint buzzing sound when charging. It is nothing to worry about, and will not affect you're iPod in any way.

I just purchased a 128 Gig iPhone 6+. When I have the sound off and volume as low as possible, I get a static sound coming out of the speakers. It is distracting and annoying when I am in meetings, etc. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.
Couple of things you can try but it looks like you may have to take it in
1. Settings --> Cellular --> Change "Enable LTE" to just "Data" if available
2. Toggle your ringer off and on
3. Settings --> General --> Accessibility --> Toggle Noise reduction off and on
If none of the above works - consider taking it to Apple

earbuds plugged in but music still coming out of the speaker. happened before but i dont remember how i fixed it?
Hey Nick,
The first thing I would check is to make sure your headphones are plugged all the way in. It may require an extra amount of force to get them to click and pop all the way in.
If that isn't the case, try a hard reset of your iPod. How you do that depends on what model iPod you have. See your iPod's User Guide for more assistance, or use this page to help locate your model and then troubleshoot your iPod from there.

Can't stop sound coming out of the sub - T7700
I was testing something today and noticed that even when i have only audio input plugged in, say the green front jack and have no other speakers attached - Even if i have the jack plugged into the front, or side sound still comes out of the sub. I've tried it with the front and side speakers disconnected and connected all while no input is in the center/sub connection - no matter the combination the sub still plays? Why? how can i have no sub at all?Should mention i've also tried it with the upmix switch in all positions and i'm using an audigy2 zs card not that it would matter though i guess.
It's worth bearing in mind that speakers really shouldn't do bass redirection, it should be the job of the receiver/decoder. Quite why Creative do things the other way around is anyone's guess. Aaanyway, have you tried simply turning the bass dial right the way down on the volume control box for the speakers? That's the best I can suggest.

I don't know what happened to it. I just updated it and now, the sound comes out tinny and overdriven. My setting were just as before, but the sound has become very crappy.
Any solutions? You're pressed the volume switch top right side to go up ??
If that doesn't help ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then try sound. -
Is iOS 6.1.7 coming out for the iPod touch 5th generation?
I have the iPod touch 4th generation 8gb, running iOS 6.1.6. But the problem is its very sluggish and my apps glitch and go back to home screen. Does anyone know if there will be a later iOS version for the 4g iPod touch? If there isn't, does anyone have a solution to this problem? Please help me.
Unlikely. iOS 6 is no longer being worked on by Apple.
Have you tried resetting or even restoring the iPod?
To Reset, hold down the home and power/sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds or until the Apple Logo shows up. Let the iPad reboot.
If this doesn't fix it. you may need to restore. Make sure you make a backup on iTunes prior to restoring.

Why is no sound coming out of the jbl dock from my iphone4
Spuns problems
Try resetting your PRAM (assuming 10.7 Lion). There are other instructions specific to other OSX versions, but I think the process is pretty much the same.:

Weird sound coming out of x61 when on battery

I try changing to another battery, the same thing happen..
I really need help.
Thanks.I also have a terrible sound coming out of the left side of my computer when on high performance battery power. (I started a thread... however no responses)
I sent it in, they replaced motherboard and hdd, now I sent it back to get the fan replaced.
I guess my biggest question is, what will Lenovo do to fix this? (assuming the fan doesn't fix the noise problem) -
I have the iPhone 6 plus with the current update 8.02. As soon as I connect my phone to my desktop speaker jack, I can hear an intermittent, low-level buzz/noise coming out of the speakers. I've never experienced this noise with my iPhone 4S or my laptop connected.
Is this maybe a grounding issue with the phone? Could mine be defective?
I just tried a friend's 6 plus and his doesn't make the same noise.
Thanks for your feedback.I have the iphone 6 plus and when I play a ringtone or a video or music and stop it, the speaker of my phone make a little sound like shhhhhh haha, why? and still there for a few seconds and sometimes minutes

IMAC freezing, hang during startup, loud noise coming out from the speaker
I am using the iMAC i3 Intel based which i bought it just a month ago
Last week it hang, freeze just like that without me launch any application just yet
I hold the ON button for a restart, and it freeze during the startup
One more thing, sometimes when it freeze, there's a noise coming out from the speaker ( just like there is no signal from the TV )
Already sent it to the Apple Service Center but they tell me it is free from any error, but by the time i bring it back home, not even 12 hours, it freeze again just like that with loud noises coming out from the speaker.
Btw did i mention, sometimes there's also a screen distortion
Please somebody help meI've experienced similar symptoms to the original poster's description. I have an iMac 27" 2010 model. This may be related to the following:
I've looked on numerous forums regarding the freezing problem I was having. This problem would arise on a wide range of systems.
Symptoms included but were not all always present - usually when I am loading the system with games/heavy load processes:
- Full system freeze, screen still on.
- Loud cracking noise coming from speakers (relative to what volume was at when the freeze happened).
- Computer asleep but I cannot wake up unless hard reset with power button.
- My screen backlight was also damaged (permanently dimmed) near the left side, and progressively got worse over time. This was fixed (replaced LCD 27" display $600+ and covered by my creditcard extended warranty)
Basically, what I've come to realize which has not been well documented as far as I could find relating to this problem - is that the system is overheating and causing these freezing errors (and LCD damage in my case). Prologned occurances could result in different system part failures.
How do you fix the overheating problem? Give this a try, it's worked so far for me and I've actually been able to continue video/photo editing without having this annoying freeze.
Search for and download 'iStat Pro' (widget addon that lets you monitor your system temperatures... compare it before and after the fix)
Search for and download 'SMCFanControl (a great little app that allows you to change your system fan speeds) - I did not know this was possible, and have never heard the fans go this high when it was being run automatically by the system. The fan's are obviously louder when set to max, but is well worth the system cooling results. -
My iPod touch is having a little issue with the volume. When I plug in my headphones the volume works fine. When there aren't any headphones plugged in, no sound comes out from my iPod. When I go to turn up the volume, it still says headphones. I tried restarting it a few times, nothing worked. I looked up many tutorials, and still nothing did the trick. Any tips?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

A third-party place like the following will replace the jack for less. Google for more.
