Load File Data Block
Hi.
i want to load cap file (binary code) to java card(GP 2.1.1).
load file data block means binary code of cap file , right?
and im wondering how do i change structure for BER-TLV?
binay codes are [50 4B 03 04 14 00 08 00 08 00 CF 56 86 3D 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ....]
80 E8 00 00 FA C4 *82 0A 29* 50 4B 03 04 14 00 08 00 08 00... (binary code)...
i found out tag"82" means have length with 2 more byte (0x0A29 for now)
do i need to add to load file data block structure somthing else ?
thanks
845467 wrote:load file data block means binary code of cap file , right?AFAIK no, not whole cap file. You have to find in cap file components such as "header.cap", "directory.cap" and others and download only them. These components are described in JCVM specification. You must download them in order defined in specification.

80 E8 00 00 FA C4 82 XX XX 01 YY YY DATA 02 ZZ ZZ DATA ....
XX XX - lenght of C4 tag
01 YY YY - name and length of header.cap component
02 ZZ ZZ - name and length of directory.cap component
Note, debug.cap and descriptor.cap are optional. In case of JCOP cards they are downloaded out of C4 tag.

Help: Algorithm for Load File Data Block Hash?
Hi guys
I would like to understand the algorithm of a field in INSTALL for LOAD command. It is "Load File Data Block Hash". I'm concerning about it in JCOP tool + Eclipse
(All I want to to is designing the new INSTALL for LOAD command, and I want to imitate JCOP tool)
Can I use DES algorithm for this field?
Thanks in advance. The load file data block hash is described in GP Card Spec v2.1.1 sections 6.7.6.1, 7.7.7 and C.2 all titled Load File Data Block Hash.
The hash is a SHA-1 hash of the load file data block.
Cheers,

Ora-26040 : data block was loaded using the NOLOGGING option
i have restored full back up database using RMAN sucessfully from one server to another .Restoration process do not contain any error.
New Database contain job when it executes then it leaves mesaage in alert log.
"ORA-01578 oracle data block corrupted file # 6 block # 6888812"
"ORA-26040 data block was loaded using nologging option".
please let me know how it could recovered and prevented.
regards
prabhatIn short, your full backup has happened when a NOLOGGING transaction was on flight. Hence the recovery process should get the transaction's data out of archive logs. BUT the data doesn't exist in archivelog beause the transaction was NOLOGGING. For comprehensive detail read the documents above.
To prevent this situation, backup the database when no NOLOGGING transaction is running. -
How to load text file data to Oracle Database table?
By using Oracle Forms, how to load text file data to Oracle Database table?
Metalink note 33247.1 explains how to use text_io as suggested by Robin to read the file into a Multi-Row block. However, that article was written for forms 4.5 and uses CREATE_RECORD in a loop. There was another article, 91513.1 describing the more elegant method of 'querying' the file into the block by transactional triggers. Unfortunately this more recent article has disappeared without trace and Oracle deny its existence. I know it existed as I have a printed copy in front of me, and very useful it is too.

How to create a data load file from Excel !!!
Hi All,
I'm new to HFM and would like to load data into an HFM application. As I have an Excel file with all the data. When I'm directly loading the data it throws an error saying "No section has been specified to determine if this is data, description or line item detail". How can I convert this excel file into proper format (.dat) file understandable by HFM ?There are several ways to get this data into HFM.
1) FDM - best option if you have it
2) Webforms/Data Grids
3) HsSetValue formulas in Excel
4) DAT file loads
5) JVs, etc
If you wish to use DAT files created via Excel, you will likely want to use Excel VBA macros to create your DAT file to load. We do this on occasion for special projects and it works quite well. What you can do is set up an Excel file with your data inputs to look however you want, then link your POV members and amounts to another tab (we commonly call this the Export tab and it is set up in an HFM-friendly format).
Create a macro to write a DAT file to a specified location using data from the Export tab. The DAT file will need to be formatted as below. For a specific sample, you can extract data from your HFM app and see the format.
!Data
Scenario;Year;Period;View;Entity;Value;Account;ICP;Custom1;Custom2;Custom3;Custom4;Amount
Scenario;Year;Period;View;Entity;Value;Account;ICP;Custom1;Custom2;Custom3;Custom4;Amount
Scenario;Year;Period;View;Entity;Value;Account;ICP;Custom1;Custom2;Custom3;Custom4;Amount
Scenario;Year;Period;View;Entity;Value;Account;ICP;Custom1;Custom2;Custom3;Custom4;Amount
Scenario;Year;Period;View;Entity;Value;Account;ICP;Custom1;Custom2;Custom3;Custom4;Amount
Brush up on Replace, Merge, or Accumulate load options in the HFM Admin and User Guides, then upload your new DAT file. -
How to load unicode data files with fixed records lengths?
Hi!
To load unicode data files with fixed records lengths (in terms of charachters and not of bytes!) using SQL*Loader manually, I found two ways:
Alternative 1: one record per row
SQL*Loader control file example (without POSITION, since POSITION always refers to bytes!)<br>
LOAD DATA
CHARACTERSET UTF8
LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
INFILE unicode.dat
INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
TRUNCATE
A CHAR(2) ,
B CHAR(6) ,
C CHAR(2) ,
D CHAR(1) ,
E CHAR(4)
) Datafile:
001111112234444
01NormalDExZWEI
02ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
03ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
04üüüüüüÖÄxµôÔµ Alternative2: variable length records
LOAD DATA
CHARACTERSET UTF8
LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
INFILE unicode_var.dat "VAR 4"
INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
TRUNCATE
A CHAR(2) ,
B CHAR(6) ,
C CHAR(2) ,
D CHAR(1) ,
E CHAR(4)
) Datafile:
001501NormalDExZWEI002702ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö002604üuüüüüÖÄxµôÔµ Problems
Implementing these two alternatives in OWB, I encounter the following problems:
* How to specify LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR?
* How to suppress the POSITION definition?
* How to define a flat file with variable length and how to specify the number of bytes containing the length definition?
Or is there another way that can be implemented using OWB?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Carsten.Hi Carsten
If you need to support the LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR clause in an external table then one option is to use the unbound external table and capture the access parameters manually. To create an unbound external table you can skip the selection of a base file in the external table wizard. Then when the external table is edited you will get an Access Parameters tab where you can define the parameters. In 11gR2 the File to Oracle external table can also add this clause via an option.

You can use the following metalink note:How to Read Data from an EXCEL Spreadsheet into a Form Using Webutil Client_OLE2 (Doc ID 813535.1) and modify it a little bit.
Instead of copy values into forms you can save them in your temporary table.
