Loading a link question

Question

I have added a url to open when a button is clicked, but when clicked;   it opens my browser but no page comes up, can anyone help with this   error?
this is my code:
function openWebPage(evt:Event):void {
navigateToURL(new   URLRequest("http://www.longshotgraphics.com/About.html"));
About_btn.addEventListener("click",openWebPage);

That code works fine when I test it, though it could be done more correctly using MouseEvent rather than Event.  Try changing your code as shown below and see if it works.  If all else fails, test the swf on a server.

     navigateToURL(new URLRequest("http://www.longshotgraphics.com/About.html"));
About_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, openWebPage);
