Loading a VI infront of any loaded program

My current application is a Visual Basic program that call different VIs throught a DDE server. Some of the called VIs are input screens that the user must use to answer questions. My problem is that the called VI when it called get displayed behind the main program. Is there a way to force this VI to load and be displayed infornt of any other application that is already displayed on the screen.

I haven't messed with VB for a while also, but I remember having this problem once. I think I fixed it by using Windows Messaging to find the hWnd handle and sending a message to make it the current app or putting it in focus, something like that. I think you can use user32.dll for the necessary functions. Hold on, just thought of something. In VB you can use SendKeys to send keystrokes. I might have used this to send the Alt-tab key to switch between windows until the desired window came forward. Good Luck.

ERROR: 'Sky Go unable to load program information as there is no Internet connection'

I was using Sky Go via my iPad and a T-Mobile hot spot generator (Hauwei) to watch programs whilst in my caravan in Devon. Suddenly it stopped working and I now whenever I try and use Sky Go I get the message 'Sky Go unable to load program information as there is no Internet connection'. Obviously I am connected. I have tried reinstalling Sky Go and have completely rebooted the iPad but to no effect. Why has it suddenly stopped working???
Having returned home I have tried to connect again when the ipad is connected via my BTHomeHub2 but I still get the same message, I have also tried to use BBC iPlayer and I am getting the same error message. What has happened????

Problems Loading Programs

Hi, I'm having some problems loading programs, specifically the game Neverwinter Nights 2.
It has been working fine for a month or so. Now when I click to load, the icon jumps a few times then nothing.
- I have reinstalled the game, but with no success.
- I have tried to repair the disk permissions in Safe Boot mode.
- I have unsuccessfully searched for Plist files connected to the game (found none).
- I have tried to load the game via a New Login account, with no success.
Im Reluctant to do an 'Archive and Install', as I have no idea where have my app disks are.
Has anyone an other idea's? Loosing the ability to play the game is annoying but I'm more worried that this may happen to other more important applications in the future!
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Don't even think about deleting Quicktime, it's an integrated part of the OS.
If that (or any other) game is that important to you, and you are prepared to lose the security fixes in QT 7.6, then it is possible to revert to an earlier version of Quicktime:
If you wish to downgrade Quicktime to 7.5.5, (even though you will lose the important security fixes contained in the 7.6 update, and you will also find that parts of iTunes 7.6, iMovie and iChat may not now work without QT 7.6) there are two methods for doing this (note that attempting to manually delete Quicktime from your hard disk is doomed to failure. QT has components all over the place as it is used by many applications):
(Note: I am running 10.4.11. Some things may be different in Leopard, but the principle should be the same.)
First: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and drag the file QuickTime750_Tiger.pkg to the trash, and delete it.
1. Perform an Archive and Install process to remove all of the QuickTime update's (and potentially problem-causing) components, and replace them with the components of the older release. Unfortunately, this means you will lose some system settings and some or all third-party system add-ons. This method is therefore longwinded and inconvenient, but will ultimately work. Because QT is an integral part of OS X using an archive and install to also downgrade to a previous version of OS X so that the various versions can work in the intended tandem, is the safest way to do it. But there is also another way:
2. Install Quicktime 7.5. in such a way that it overwrites the QT 7.6 files without interfering with your other system settings and third-party add-ons. This can be done using a shareware (you can use it a few times for free, but worth paying for and having) application called Pacifist. This method works perfectly:

Make sure you download the correct version for your system!

You will now have Quicktime 7.5.5.x installed.
N.B. Repair permissions and restart both before and after installation.

Can I use onboard variables for load program delay?

I try to use the onboard function "load program delay" together with onboard variables. The program works and I could confirm with "read variable.flx" that the value has changed.
Versions: lv6x, flexmotion 5x

I am not sure I understand what the problem is. An onboard probgram using variables should work without any issues if you set a delay within it using the load program delay function.

I try to configure dbconsole on on 10.2.0.4 an AIX 5.3.
It failed with this strange error :

Defaulting org id value into a table through SQL Loader program

Hi ,
We have a requirement that we need to load some data from flat file to a table.we are using sql loader to do that. so far no problem but now the requirement is that we need to populate the org id from which we are running the program.
I tried fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID') and it is populating site level org id.
Coudl any one please help me how to default org id or request id into a table through sql loader program.

Where do you want to populate the ORG_ID ? There is no column for it in your stage table above
Is there way we can pass through concurrent program parameters?

Im having problem in running jobs in DB13 as we encounter error below.
I also encounter this in the same system when I tried to execute brtools to extend tablespace and I was able to resolved by setting environment of LIBPATH.
for your information I was able to run the brconnect -u / -c -f cleanup from the OS level. But in using DB13 it was failed
Do you any idea how to resolve it?

You are missing the Oracle 10g instantclient, the client software is no more linked from /oracle/<SID>/102_64 to /oracle/client/<version> but you have to install it separately.

We have lab computers and the users have no permissions to load programs. however, Firefox loaded. How is this possible?

Users can always use a portable Firefox version installed on an USB stick.
If you do not want users to have access to internet then you need to block that via a firewall or special proxy.
You can always rename files to circumvent measure that only look at file names.

Trading Partner Details load program

Does anyone know of a load program for XML Gateway Trading Partner details? I cannot find a .lct or api. I'm trying to avoid manual setup in new instances. My trading partner is setup, there is a load program for transactions, but I need to load the trading partner/transaction detail mappings.

I was able to get the details as shown in below code...

While installing SAP R/3 4.6C(64 bit) on AIX 5.3(64 bit OS) we are unable to run R3SETUP file
our Database is Oracle 8.1.7
we are getting following ERROR :

exec(): 0509-124The program is a discontinued 64-BIT object file

Our Current setup is SAP R/3 46C Oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris 8. For SAP Upgrade we have planned for IBM AIX 5.3 for ECC6.0 .
Kindly suggest in detail how to go about for Migration of SAP 46C from Solaris to AIX and Upgrade from SAP R/3 46C to ECC 6.0 on Oracle Database
Please suggest at the earliest.

Yes, There is a Program to Upload Material Master Ie : RMDATIND, RMDATGEN
Using the above Program you can Upload Material Master. And You can Also use Uploading Tools like LSMW / BDC etc.
MM17 is For MAss Maintenance. Suppose If you want to Update Purchase Group / Purchase Value Key / MRP Controller / Etc... to 1000 Materials Using this MM17 you can Update in Bulk.
For Extending Views You can Use MM50 with LSMW if Material is Bulk.
