Logged in as portal30/portal30, no access menu

I've installed Portal 9i on NT. Everything went ok. According to the the documentation, I should be able to access the administration menu after I logged in as portal30/portal30 to perform all admin tasks. The url I used is http://hostname/pls/portal30. I can see the home page fine, but there's nothing to click. All I see is the 'login' link at the upper right hand corner.
Please help.

Thanks. I did try to connect as portal30/portal30 but it returns me back to the home page. There's nothing else to click and I don't see any administrative links I can click. If I click the 'login' link again, it throws me back to the home page again. So apparently I have logged in successfully.

in our portal i created an iview, which calls an SAP-ERP-Transaction, and displays it with the SAP GUI for HTML (webgui). well, i have a big problem: when i got a timeout, the user has to log on to the its and then i get the sap easy access menu.
the users should NOT be allowed to see the sap easy access menu ! they ONLY need to see the called transaction.
any ideas ?

i have set the 'singletransaction'-parameter in sicf for the webgui-service to value 1.
BUT: as soon as i click on the iview to display the transaction i got the message
Logged Off Successfully
You have been logged off from SAP Web Application Server.

SAP Query-to be saved on Easy access menu

Dear All,
This is regarding the SAP Query that I have created on Production. Pls help me out with the way to save it on sap easy access menu. At the moment, i have saved the t-code SQ01 in Favorites but it is not serving the purpose because everytime an end user logs in, he has to go through the T-codes SQ03, SQ02 and SQ01 in order to get the usergroups, infosets and the Query in sink inorder to execute the report.
Points would be awarded.

Go to SE93.
Create a transaction & select the last option of radiobutton -> Transaction with parameters.
Transaction : START_REPORT
Skip Initial Screen : Clicked
SAP GUI for Windows : Clicked
Default values:
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = /SAPQUERY/HR -- HR is the user group name
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = Report name
D_SREPOVARI-VARIANT = Variant name
D_SREPOVARI-NOSELSCRN -- if no sel sc asked for.
After creating the transaction you can easily attach it to Easy Access Menu.

To be more precise: I am talking about the logging-in within the System Preferences on my iMac.
When trying to log in with the old ID, I get no access, i.e. it says "Try again"...-Trying the same with the new one gives me the result I mentioned in my first question...
Now I found out how to do it: I had to erase all accounts-then I could sign in with my Apple-ID. Thanks again.

Adding of Custom Report in SAP Easy Access Menu

How can we add the Custom Report in the SAP easy access Menu.
Transaction code can be added thru Favourites, but not the Reports.

If you want to add Z report to esay access first of all you need to create T-code using Tcode se93.
here you need fill some details your progroam name what kind of program it is etc.
Then come to easy accees click on favarities and add that T code.

Can't find the accessibility menu any more under tools

I am trying to restore the ability of websites to redirect me to other sites.
I think I'd made the mistake of removing this capability by using the Tools/Options/General/Accessibility menu, under "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
Now when I go to what I think is the same menu, I only get the Startup and Downloads menus. Your help section shows the "Accessibility" menu I'm looking for but I can't figure out how to get it back so that I can again get directed to other sites.

You are missing a step out the option needed is within the '''advanced''' tab.

There are two sloutions for query
1. Ad Hoc Query already exists in SAP Tree Menu
SAP Menu > HR > Information Systems > Reporting Tools > Ad Hoc Query
Else
2. Take the Adhoc Query to Favorites, So that u dont want to Dig down every time. U can access it directly

1) Can you see the Menu? Or is everything greyed out?
2) Adobe Reader 7.0.8 is suggested to use for the end users. We had a lot of problems with older releases. Please note that in case of Netweaver 2004 you cannot use Reader 8 or higher yet. Adobe and SAP are working on this issue. (The ACF - Active Component Framework) cannot install properly with Reader 8.
So the only fix is using Reader 7.0.8. - The problem is client side related, not ADS or PCR related.

E71 Problems (restarts and cannot access menu)

Hello Folks,
I bought my handset on 05th Sep and within 2dys the phone strtd restarting on its own while using applications. I did a hard reset on my phone (*#7370#) and it asked to contact supplier. Nokia care center reformatted my phone. After few days i noticed that when i press the menu key i only can find a half line about the home screen shortcut menu right under the battery icon.I wasnt able to access the main menu.I could only access shortcut applications.I restarted my phone and then it worked fine.I had this issue for 2 weeksI even took it to the nokia care and they advice me to use the phone without the memory card. But the problem still the same.
I managed to capture some screen shots(please check) when im not able to access menu. I hit the menu key and it just gives a line below the battery icon.It happens with or without memory card. Reinstalled software three times. Tried to do a hard reset it asked to contact supplier. Im very upset. Noone is helping me out.
Need your help..please assist!!

In EA-PS the Funds Management is an Extension Set. If you want
to use the FM you have to activate the extension set
IS-PS "Public Services" in SPRO under
"Activation Switch for SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set".
This is the activity in SPRO.
When you save your changes, the FM-enhancements are made to the
Menu and Implementation Guide (IMG). In the IMG the FM is named
Public Sector Management.
If you have activated the extension Set IS-PS and
the Public Sector Management is still not in the IMG then please
review note 544035.
Please also have a look to the note 536040. The note contains
important information about the upgrade from an older release to
EA-PS 1.10 or higher.
Apart from that you also need to activate the functionalities
as described in note 535003. A number of transactions, such as FM3I or
FM3U, have also changed to new transactions in the meantime.
In case you have already used standard Funds Management in a previous
release and now want to continue using the functionalities, please also
check note 429225 carefully for a detailed description of the upgrade
requirements.

I have also found a way to invoke menu item Tag but it just don't do anything with "APP_PRINTER_SETUP" <=> "Page Setup..." !!!

SecurityAgent seems to be thrashing when ParentalControls logs out a user with limited access time.

I have a 2007 iMac running OS X Lion, all latest updates and patches applied.
My daughter has an account on the system, which I have limited to only being able to be used for a few hours a day.
The problem arises when she leaves herself logged in, but walks away, and the time runs out. When I sit down at the console, the first thing that happens is that the cursor disappears, and the systems starts to go into a logout. Makes sesne so far, I guess. However, the system then goes into what I can only presume is some sort of loop. The cube animation starts, and rotates back and forth several times between two screens, both equally hessian wrapped, with no distinguising features.
I can log into the system via ssh, and I can confirm that the system is spiking out on SecurityAgent:
Processes: 661 total, 5 running, 29 stuck, 627 sleeping, 2082 threads

Now, obviously, because I can ssh in, I can start a clean shutdown and restart, but I'd like a way to do this that doesn't involve me bringing down the system, when the whole point of multiple users and parental controls is that a system can be shared cleanly.

Also, you might just try clicking the Create Reports button in the Access web app client interface and Access will create the reporting database for you with links to the web app tables. On the File menu (when using the Access web app in client) make sure
to click the option to Allow Any Location under the Manage button. After that, just click the Create Reports button on the File menu (right above the Manage button) and wait a few seconds. Access will create a new desktop database linked up to all of the Access
web app tables. You can then create as many reports or other desktop objects as you like.

After logging into facebook, I get an "access denied" message. It says I don't have permission to access facebook on this server but this is my home computer.

Recently I've had trouble either when I try to login to facebook or after I've logged in. Usually, it's a page that says "access denied" and follows with a statement similar to not having permission to access facebook on this server. It doesn't happen every time but when it does I try various ways to get back to my facebook page...usually I can google facebook and login that way. Today it won't let me do that either. Does anyone know what this means? I don't know hardly a thing about computer technology so I don't even know where to start. Thanks!

Create a Bookmark for Facebook. Don't go via Google.
If you are using Safari... go to the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
Click: Show Cookies
Delete all Facebook cookies.
Now from the menu bar again click Safari / Empty Cache.
Restart your Mac, launch Safari, try Facebook.
If you still have problems, quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access /Applications/Utilities
Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the Facebook and Safari Forms Autofill keychains. Now go to the menu bar top of your screen click Keychain Access / Keychain First Aid. Enter your admin password on the left then click Verify and Repair if necessary.
Relaunch Safari. Go to Facebook. Login with your user name and password. You should be prompted to save that data to a new keychain. Click Yes.

Signout/log off button for RdP users accessing 2012 R2

I am configuring a 2012 R2 machine to provide remote desktop services to a group of users connecting via Wyse terminals
These users currently access a 2008 R2 server
These users are highly non-technical
I am looking for a way to enable them to log off or sign out of their sessions from the desktop
I don't want to force them to go to the Metro/Modern/Touch interface or have to use the Charms bar
Any solutions for this desired user experience?

Hi Ben,
you can create Desktop Shortcuts using GPO:
Logoff - calling
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -L
Discconect - calling
C:\WINDOWS\system32\tsdiscon.exe
Alternatively for the Metro UI there is a solution to create shutdown and logoff tiles. Have a look here:
