Logging in to kuler

I'm trying to sign in but Kuler to save a theme but just it
just 'spins' away...anyone else having problems or have I got the
wrong end of the stick? Thanks.

Hi, the authentication work is still underway so until it is
fixed (hopefully putting an end to our random login issues) please

Log into my Kuler Account while in InDesign.

Can I log into my Kuler account using Kuler in InDesign, or any other creative siute to access my saved swatches? I see that you can access the ones on the home page but I want to acess the one's I've saved.

Currently Kuler Panel does not support logging in from the Creative Suite Software. Still you can use your Saved themes into InDesign by downloading them as ASE from the website and importing them into InDesign(http://kuler.adobe.com/links/kuler_help.html#Colors) or Using the Desktop AIR app for Kuler.

Today I logged into my Kuler account and found that all of my themes are gone. I recently changed my user login email address, but that's the only change I have made. I'm running Windows Explorer 7. Can you help?

Kuler desktop installation problems?

If you downloaded the Adobe AIR (Apollo) runtime and then
installed the kuler desktop and you are experiencing problems:
1. Troubleshooting: Completely uninstall the Adobe AIR
runtime and the kuler desktop application. If you are using the Mac
OS, empty your trash too. Then install the AIR file and kuler
desktop files on the
Links page on kuler. under
"kuler content."
2. Reporting: If you are still having issues, please report
the problem with the following information:
- Describe what happened/steps to repro.
- What version of the Adobe AIR (Apollo) are you using?
(e.g., air_b1_win_061107.exe)
- What version of the kuler desktop are you using? (e.g.,
kuler_desktop_061007)
- What is your OS?
- Please attach a screengrab of any error message you are
receiving.

I am having a problem with kuler desktop, it installed fine
but when I log into the kuler desktop, it logs me in but
immediately gives me a error message "kuler kutoff! Your session
has timed out. Please sign in again.
I then sign out (the icon is green in the lower right hand
corner and says Sign Out), then resign in and I get the same error.
I am using XP SP3 and have no problems with kuler in FF3 only
with the kuler desktop application. I really want the integration
of kuler with CS3 Photoshop and was hoping that this would give me
that integration.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Login issues! Please help!

I am unable to log in to the kuler website. I have had success for a short time once or twice, but most of the time the small login graphic just spins indefinitely. I have created a new id, and the same thing is happening with that one. I have intermittent luck logging in to kuler desktop, but I get a kuler klash error more often than not.
This is a new laptop and I am running Windows 7 and the newest flash version. I have noticed flash issues with a couple of other online apps. Based on one artical I found, I uninstalled flash, reinstalled running IE as admin, and set the permissions on a few of the files in the win32 folder, but this has not changed anything.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

MBPs and liquids do not mix. Bring the MBP to the nearest Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation. Be prepared for bad news. Too often the incursion of liquids is a death sentence to a MBP.

Updated account email & lost all themes

I updated my account to my new email, my old .edu one is being deleted. After logging back into Kuler, I found that all my themes were gone! I can no longer log in on the old email, since that email is no longer associated with an account.
Anyone have any idea how I can contact someone at Adobe to have my themes added back to my account? I had quite the library that I was using for my client projects.

Kuler app won't finish login after logging in!...

I haven't run Kuler in a while, and was surprised when ran it it said Air wasn't installed (odd, I don't remember uninstalling it...but then I'm running Win7 where .exe's disappear now and then for no apparent reason -- of course you aren't allowed to backup 'exe' files in your backup unless it's a complete image backup, so you can't restore them from a backup when they get "disappeared"...)... Anyway, reinstalled it w/no errors or problems.
Now I run kuler, and when I try to login.. it says 'User logged in', but then the signin window won't go away!!
All I can do is hit 'Cancel', and then the 'main window', at the bottom right, says "Sign out" instead of "Sign in", but the menu says I'm not signed in and no color-samples will display.
??? WT*bleep*?
I did goto the kuler website and re-download the kuler.air app, and reinstall (a bit lame, since it died claiming another app was already installed in the location it wanted to install ... so had to rename the target-dir first before it would install)...but no difference...
Help? Ideas?

Kuler Klash error when trying to sign in to Kuler

I have tried for the past two days to sign in to Kuler and I keep getting the "Kuler Klash" error, so I am unable to sign in and download themes.

Hi, I believe this has to do with authentication
(reauthenticates for actions like save/publish), though it's odd
that you can log in, it's only on subsequent authentication. I will
log a bug, however, since Adobe is shutting down today through
January 2, further investigation will start in the New Year once
the various teams are back. Thank you all for bringing this to our
attention and for your patience!
In the meantime, please let us know if:
1. Have you EVER been able to save or publish?
2. Does this happen on other actions such as downloading?
3. Sometimes even though I get the kuler klash message,
things are still happening and I can still click on the interface
or refresh. Please describe what happens.
4. Is your Adobe ID an email address or not?
5. OS/browser (we always ask!)
I will be back on Jan 7 and can follow up then. Will try to
bring you more joy in the New Year. :-)

How to Fix: Color CC Only Syncing Old Saved Kuler Themes to Illustrator, Not Any New Themes I Make/Save?

When I open the Color Themes panel in Illustrator CC (2014.1.0 Release), and click the "refresh" button, it only pulls in the themes I had saved on the web back when it was "Kuler." No new themes that I make (that show up on the web under "My Themes") sync with Illustrator. How do I get the new themes to sync?
(I've already logged in & out, restarted the programs and the computer, to no avail.)

Hi,
I am running OSX (10.9.5), and I just installed the latest security update & restarted. Still, it doesn't seem to resolve my problem, unfortunately.
Within the Color Themes palette, it still has my old themes, but when I refresh, the new ones don't show up, and it doesn't mention any error.
Incidentally, when I open the "Illustrator"/Application menu and scroll to where it lists my Adobe ID email, in the fly-out menu it says it wasn't able to sync my settings because an "Unknown Error Occurred." However, nothing seems to be out of order when I click in to manage the sync settings.

Kuler panel stopped working in CC 2014

Win7 64bit, Photoshop CC (2014), Kuler Panel PS CC 2014 (https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/4023).
This is how the panel started to look on Friday. It worked fine for a week and then this:

Kuler home page not working for me

I'm trying to access the Kuler website and all I see is a
black background with the message "Kuler requires the latest
version of the Adobe Flash Player." displayed above the 'Get Adobe
Flash Player' button. I clicked the button, downloaded and
installed the latest Flash Player (I quit Safari before installing)
but I'm still seeing exactly the same thing when I try to access
the Kuler website. Any suggestions?
I've logged into my Adobe account but that hasn't helped.
I've also restarted and have emptied Safari's Cache but still the
same. I'm using Safari and Mac OS X 10.4.9

Or try a manual uninstall and reinstall, as the Mac OS X
uninstaller is not working properly (bug has been logged on this).
Check which version you are actually running
here. For
Mac/Win, it should be 9,0,47,0.

FW CS4 Kuler Extension: How to import priate palette?

Hi everybody,
using the kuler extension to FW in CS4 I only see public
color themes. Am I missing where I can log on to see and import my
private color palettes? Or is there a way to import the exported
ASE file from the kuler AIR application into FW? I think a similar
question was asked concerning CS3 before.

this video was the most instructive one that I have seen
about the new color handling features of FW. But the problem of
private palettes not being accessible within the Kuler extension
remains. For the time being I will live with the necessitiy either
to publish any theme in Kuler I wish to import into Fireworks later
or to manually color pick the swatches from the AIR application.
What makes me feel unhappy this way is that everybody with the same
intention is being forced to somehow "pollute" the Kuler commmunity
with intermediate palettes. Yes, and why can't these ASE files
being used by FW? Ok, I guess I want too much.

Kuler themes won't update in Illustrator

My Kuler themes have stopped working for about two weeks now. I open the colour guide in illustrator and can see some themes there, but now it is impossible to refresh the panel and display new themes I have made or favourited.
All I get is the constant repeating message 'you may be offline or the server might be busy'. But I am logged in to my adobe account and can launch the Kuler website and browse my themes there, they just won't appear in the illustrator panel no matter what I try.

Tehere may be a number of things disturbing and confusing Illy. You may have a look at the list. Maybe Item 7) or something else under 5) can be relevant.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
