Logging off - because ZENWorks policies have been applied

We use Windows 2008 terminal servers with ZCM 11.1.
One of our user has a message again and again (1-2 times a day):
"ZENWorks - Logging off
ZENWorks policies have been applied on the device which require a relogin to take affect. Save your work before relogin occurs."
The policies didn't change nowadays, and just one user gets the message.
If this user logs in another terminal server he gets same message there.
The zmd-messages.log:

What is the problem, what can I do?

The simplest thing would be to configure the policies to not force a
logoff. If you look at the MS Policy Spreadsheet, the number of items
requiring a logoff to take effect are miniscule.

Hey Guys,
We're having some serious problems over here.
Issue:
All ZCM policies have stopped applying.
This includes group policy settings, ZENworks Explorer Configuration Policies, and iPrint Printer Policies.
We've got a single primary server, 1300+ devices, and are currently using the built-in sybase database.
The first thing on our plate is to address the database. We're migrating to Oracle very soon, since we have out-grown the 1000-device limit of the built-in database, however do you feel that the limitations of the built-in database could be causing the policy issues? This all started perhaps a few weeks ago, and before that point everything was just fine.
Server OS:
SLES 11, 64-bit
ZCM Version 10.3.0.0
Clients are Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit

I've not changed the way they're associated.
The iPrint policies are (and have been) associated to folders full of workstations.
The group policy setting(s) are (and have been) associated at the root of "Workstations" since it's a campus-wide policy.
Prior to our email discussion, I did create a test policy which was pointed at a different iPrint server with no success.
I also cycled enable/disable enforcement of the policy, incremented the version several times, performed a zac cc and a zac ref on the client, as well as attempted to associate the policy to a user which I logged into the workstation with no success.

It depends on what you mean by "barely one year old". If the iMac is only a couple of days out of warranty, Apple's been known to make exceptions and extend the warranty, though it's by no means guaranteed. If it's several days or more out of warranty, then Apple will fix it, if it's a hardware problem, but the repair won't be free. This is no different now then it would have been with a Mac purchased back in the 80s.
Why the drive failed, if indeed it has, is impossible to say. Could have been a static shock, a weak component that failed when power was applied, or a mechanical fault in one of the tiny parts used in optical drives and hard drives that finally broke.

Ok. I've just read up some support forums & realise that there are no logs of numbers unless I've backed up on iCloud.

How to Identify what Portal Patches Have Been Applied?

I need to identify which patches have been installed in my OAS Installation. I have OAS 9.0.4 installation on HP/UX, and i need to import some page groups from a production environment but i´am reading note 263995.1 for import/export issues and i need to find out if patch 3277149 it´s already applied in my testing environment.
Where can i find this patch? is there any table where i can query for patches installed?

I am trying to update Mac software. but each time I download Compressor, I get a message that the update cannot be saved because it may have been corrupted. What should I do?

When I download software updates, I continually get the message "The update “Compressor 1.2.1” can’t be saved.The update could not be expanded and verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs." What do I need to do? This seems to be blocking other software updates.

By twice, I mean is there at least two copies of the same Time Machine data? Backing up several times a day with Time Machine does not yield two distinct separate restorable sources. Only one is made.

How to edit a PDF created with Acrobat XI Pro after signatures have been applied (like I can in 7, 8.0

I have a major issue that I need to resolve before we can purchase Acrobat XI Pro:
Currently, with Acrobat 8.1 Pro, after all signatories sign a document, we add an Effective Date (we add it after they sign since we don't know when the last signature will be acquired and we can't have an Effective Date that is before the date of the last signatory, otherwise, it would be effective before they signed it, which is not possible). I'm also allowed the latitude (as stated in our Documentation Control procedure) to make spelling corrections, hyperlink updates and minor formatting changes (by using the typewriter tool and also by replacing a page that is NOT the signed page if the change repaginates the document or involves modifying a hyperlink that has changed).
In all of the previous versions of Acrobat that we've used (7 Pro, 8 Pro and 8.1 Pro) , this has been easily possible and all changes would be listed under the Signatures tab, which is exactly what we want, which is traceability.
I'm using the trial version of Acrobat XI Pro now but am getting the message "This document is signed and can not be edited." If I bring the same PDF that was created from Word 2003 & 2013 using Acrobat XI Pro into 8.1 Pro, though, I CAN add the date, use the typewriter tool and replace non-signed pages, save it and exit without clearing or losing any signatures.
My question is this: How can I do this in Acrobat XI Pro, as XI Pro (in the Signature pane) also lists the changes made to the document when it was edited using 8.1 Pro? (It's OK that the changes made to the PDF then mark the signatures as "invalid", as the reason why they were invalidated is also listed in the Signature pane, e.g. "Form Field Added", which is usually the applied Effective Date.)

Acrobat versions prior to 9 had a bug which allowed you to do what you did. In Acrobat 9 this bug was fixed. In order to do what you want you need to certify (apply special certification digital signature with your certificate -- it is "Certify (Visible/Invisible)" choice in the "Work with Certificates") your document first. In the process of certification you can specify which modification permissions you allow the users of your document to make after signing. Certification signature must be the first signature in the document.

Trying to get to a quick answer and without going into lots of detail on Network Infrastructure etc etc I am helping a charity and they have just put in a couple of new lasers so .......what might be the reason for an HP Laserjet P1505N (networked) printing a standard MS Word text document as garbage characters (mainly extended ascii)? BUT if the text is formatted to a colour however (I've been using dark red!) it prints correctly.
Graphics (bitmaps) print OK
USB (direct PC to printer connection works fine)
So in other words down the network colour text or graphics is OK but normal black text documents are not.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated, I assume some kind of driver mix up but because of the strange workaround I thought the exact cause might ring some bells with someone (seems like a bit or a byte has lost the plot somewhere along the line (127..256 7,8 bits ascii tables etc etc)). I'm no network expert and I stopped using PC's at home about 7 months ago..........(after 20 years of very educational WAR!!!)

If the configuration you posted is correct, I seriously doubt that anyone here will be able to give you any feedback (we are Apple people, after all).
I suggest you contact HP and ask them the question.

Some usage rights have been applied pop-up

When I edit a form in livecycle I often get the pop-up:
I just click Yes and continue on, however; a coworker of mine is using fields from the forms to populate into an application they have built and cannot get passed the pop-up. Is there any way to disable the pop-up or something I can set to stop it? Thank you for any information you can provide.

You get the pop-up because the Reader Extensions for saving the PDF is enabled...
They give you this pop-up because if there is any data entered in the PDF, it will be lost because LiveCycle can only modify the template of the PDF Form.
Which means the initial Form as it is created. Once you enable Reader Extensions you MUST remove the usage rights to be able to modify the form...
If you want to keep the data inside the form, you should keep a copy on the side to be able to re-enter the data inside the form once it is modified in LiveCycle.

Settings app has red number 1 at the top and I can't get rid off it. I have been through everything in settings eg. Turned everything off and it is still there

Since I updated to ios5.0.1 I have had a red number one on the settings app like there is something that needs to be done. I have tried to turn everything off in settings and gone through everything one by one but cannot get rid of it.
Any ideas?

Outlook 2010 with 365 stripping attachments off of email that have been drag and dropped

In my office we just switched to 365 and since this I've noticed that roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of my email with drag and drop attachments are having those attachments stripped off.
Several times a day I send an email that has 6 attachments, mix of excel and pdf, and the excel called 'Checklist' I attach by drag and drop often get stripped off the instant I hit the Send button.
I will literally be looking at it, as one of 6 files, hit Send, and in my sent box there are only 5 files, the Checklist is gone! It's random; about 1/3 to 1/2 of them do this. Others make it through.
Please let me know if there is a fix to this? I'm having to resend attachments about 6 times a day now!

Please send several test emails with attachments on OWA, check if this issue will occur.
If the issue is on client only, we can start Outlook in Safe Mode to test, this can eliminate the influence by 3rd-party add-ins:
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
In Outlook Safe Mode, send several test emails with attachments to see if the problem will ever occur. If no, we may suspect the issue was caused by some add-ins, go to FILE -> Options -> Add-Ins to disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one
caused the problem.
We can also test with a new profile to setup the account, a new profile will be a new environment for the account, we can check if the problem will occur with the new profile and you don't need to remove the old profile.
To create a new profile, go to Control Panel -> Mail -> Show Profiles -> Add.

Error message pops up when trying to install Fifa 12 and NFS:HP on my iphone 4 (from my computer). When I try to download them directly from the phone an error message pops up saying something pretty close to "app could not be installed. Login from computer and download from there". Both install fine on my ipod touch. I have tried syncing and re-syncing and even system restore on my ipod. I have tried unauthorising and authorizing itunes. This is really frustrating. Any Help?!?!?
