Logs for cluster config change

Hi,
I've noticed some rather odd behavior on my cluster configuration. Before, in our production, I noticed who ever did the
orginal config put the admin server as part of a cluster. I'm looking at it now a month later and see that the admin is
not part of the cluster.
Is there any part in any of the logs where it might show that someone removed the admin server from the cluster?
Any advice would be appreciated.

How to get change log for fields if change document flag is not maintained?

Hi experts,
My requirement is display the change log details for the transaction FAGLGA32.
In this transaction we have the Field Groups block.if any change is happened for field group we need to capture the change.
the field for the field group is RKAL1-FGFLG1 and the data element is FGFLG.
In the data element FGFLG, the flag CHANGE DOCUMENT is not maintained.
How to get the change log details for the fields for which the change document flag is not maintained at data element level?

do a modification for the data element or try Audit Trail (depends on your release)

Any log for process chain changes

Dear All,
I have around 95 process chains, during the monthends & beginings i have done some changes to some of the process chains.
If i want to have a quick look at only changes to those pc's where can i get the info.
To be frank, practically its not possible to go each and every pc and goolge them.
Can you please guide me on how to .

IMG Note for a Config Change

Hello,
I am very new to SAP. Could someone guide me as to how I can write an IMG note for a customizing change.
I just need to add some documentation in that IMG note for a change that I am doing.

Hello Mridula,
Unfortunately, you cannot add a note to an IMG node anymore. Only the existing SAP nodes being delivered are permitted.
If you are going to have IMG Activities beneath this node, then you can goto the Documentation tab of each IMG Activity definition (Right click on activity -> Technical details) and maintain a documentation for each one of them.
If there are no activities, then you really do not require a documentation for the node alone, which practically does no steps, right?

Log for tracking making changes in Workspace

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way to initiate a log to keep track of any changes made in Workspace, including the folders, books, and reports.

Are you opening this in notepad?
I also tried to use Excel to open the log but it's confusing as hell.
For instance, all I read in the log is this line showing up repeatedly:

How to track log for FR reports changes done in Workspace

Hello,
How can i track if a particular FR report or a folder is being updated or deleted from workspace or FR STUDIO ?
Is there any log file which can give me the details of the username who accessed which report or who made any changes to any particular report ?
I have checked the log files under Hyperion_home/logs/BI Plus and logs under BI Plus/logs filder but could not find anything fruitfull .

ORA-29746: Cluster Synchronization Service is being shut down.
Cause: The administrator has shut down the Cluster Synchronization Service daemon. This error message is intended to be informative to users on the status of the service.
Action: Check the log file of the Cluster Synchronization Service daemon to verify the state of the service.

RHCDOC_DISPLAY - any cluster for directly accessing changes?

Does anyone know whether the HRP Infotype changes as reported by program 'RHCDOC_DISPLAY' are stored in a particular table or cluster?
The HR Infotype logged changes are stored in PCL4, but I can't seem to find an equivalent for the PD changes?
We need to try to access the data for reporting on an interface file.

I have read again the link and you are correct that in using the preferred command together with localhost under POTS dial-peer, I can now select which correct path to choose for my outbound calls. I'm just not very strong with dial-peer and translation rules at the moment.
I will try this solution during the weekend and let you know. But it would have been better if there was a sample configuration for this option.

Change Logs for TCODE -- FILE

Hi Friends,
    Please help me in finding the change logs for the TCODE FILE,
    i.e The changes made to the Logical paths
   I had tried Utilities---->change logs , but unfortunately i cannot find any changes logs
   But there are changes made to the logical paths in my system but i cannot see them in change logs

rec/client is a profile parameter, you can view the settings in transaction RZ10. However I find program RSPARAM more useful, the report lists all system parameters with their default and altered value. Also if you double-click on a parameter you can get to the full help text for its meaning.
The parameter essentially switches on table change logging for configuration tables (based on the technical settings of the table) and has to be set before the changes are made.

Error: while configuring logs for changes in infotype data

Hi All,
I am configuring the following Tables for maintain logs for changes in infotype data.
V_T585A, V_T585B and V_T585C
While configuring V_T585B, when i input * in 'field name' column it gives me an warning message " All data fields in **** infotype 31 will be deleted.
Please let me know, what does this warning message means?
Also, How is the report RPUAUD00 read?

Hi Simran,
you are not suppose to give the IT 0031-Reference Personnel Numbers in these tables. why because this will done at the time of Employee hiring only and we don't change this. if you change you will lost the old data in the IT.
Normally we assign only the IT which we change frequently for the master data. example like 0 1 2 7 8 9 27 582 - 589 2001 2006.
if you are configuring today means from today on-wards any changes had made to these IT's you can see in the report. before changes will not be seen. in the report you have to choose either long-term document / short-term document and remaining fields as per the requirement.

How to check and delete the change logs for DSO

Hello All,
I have build a process chain that will delete the change logs for DSO prior to 7 days but when i executed it, the number of entries are still the same within DSO.
Then i tried deleting directly from "Environment" menu from DSO maintainance but does not work. Can anyone please explain how to resolve this issue or the proper process of deleting the change logs. Appreciated.

What is the impact - Activating Change Logs for Material Classification Dta

To activate Change Logs for Material Classification Data I must first set the flag for "Multiple Objs Allowed" for the Class Type 001 Material Class. I am curious of what the impact of setting this flag will be. Also, is there a way to measure the DASD impact of activating the Change logging for this data.

In addition to the performance impact the process of turning on Change Logs for Classification data will convert the tables KSSK and AUSP to use an internal SAP number as a key instead of the Material number. This will cause problems for any custom programs that access those files directly and expect the material number to be the key. This file conversion occurs during the execution of program RCCLUKA2 which is used to Flag the change logs for existing records. This can be reversed by running report RMCLINOB. Because of the above impact we decided here to NOT implement this change in production.

For eg :if its a t-code related to Purchasing : then Purchase Order and it's corresponding item level details are retrieved.
But i m thinking in a different way: i need to check LOGS of a t-code which might have a transport request
following such a transport request i can get the USER details who migrtaed the changes of t-code (for eg:ME23n)
from SAP QA to SAP PROD.
