Based on my research, the issue can be resolved by removing and re-creating all Exchange performance counters:
add-pssnapin Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Setup
$files=get-childitem “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Setup\Perf\" *.xml |where-object {!($_.psiscontainer)}
foreach ($file in $files) {remove-perfcounters -definitionfilename $file.fullname}

Event ID 106 error MSExchange Common: Performance counter updating error
I'm running Exchange Server 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2, and each time I start the server I get an error event, ID 106, logged in the Application Log. The source is MSExchange Common and the text is:
Performance counter updating error. Counter name is Current Requests Pending, category name is MSExchange LiveIdBasicAuthentication [also MSExchangeRemotePowershell, . Optional code: 2. Exception: The exception thrown is : System.InvalidOperationException:
The requested Performance Counter is not a custom counter, it has to be initialized as ReadOnly
I used a PowerShell script to reload all the performance counters, and it seemed to work for nearly all 217 .xml files in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Setup\Perf. But I still get the error when I restart the server. Any
ideas on how to fix this, what it means, or if it's safe to ignore are welcome.

Installing Exchange 2013 SP1 - Errors MSExchange ADAccess & MSExchange Common
The topology first:
AD-server + Exchange-server
What I am trying to do is just install a full version of Exchange 2013 sp1.
But the problem is that install wizard freezes on the "initializing setup" page. Also eventviewer gives 2 different error messages, MSExchange ADAccess & MSExchange Common.
MSExchange ADAccess:

So I tried several times to download a trial version of Photoshop. The Download Assistant did NOTHING, and when I tried to download again, I'd get an "error 106." I tried again with my desktop as the destination. Somewhere around 24-36 HOURS later (the Download Assistant lied and said it would take 4) I get a ******** "error 109."
So my question is, when are you going to fix this ******* nightmare of a Download "Assistant"? The FAQ is crammed with people as fed up as I am. The DA suggested I try downloading again. Seriously? You think my time is that _worthless?_ Why would I spend over $1200 for the Design Standard package when you can't get something as simple a a trial download right?
I don't need you to troubleshoot this issue with me. I need you to drop me a line when you make this thing work properly. Until then, stop wasting my time.This was NOT helpful advice.
I selected the default user folder and I am still ending up with an error message mere seconds into the download process. I've also checked my virus protection/firewall and this should not be affecting the download.
To be honest, I'm not sure that I want to purchase a product from a company that can't seem to get the simplest thing to work effectively.
If I can't get the trial to download then I don't think I'll bother purchasing the product. -

There are some reasons which caused event id 4999, for example hid resource mailboxes, the corrupt calendar item.
We could refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
If there are some resource mailboxes which are hid, we could unhidden unhide them, then we could restart IIS and check if there are event id 4999
We could refer to the following link to check if there are any the corrupt calendar item via

If the event id persist, I suggest we could update Exchange 2010 to CU8 v2 by the following link, because Exchange 2010 CU8 v1 has been recalled:

Hi folks, a few weeks ago i phoned up about my speed and was told that my IP Profile was stuck, after the usual 10 days it was still stuck so i called again and they tried to reset again and i have waited again and it is still at 2MB, This was over two weeks ago

There are lots of errors also which makes me think there is a fault somewhere.
I was told that i should be getting around 4-6MB when we moved here a couple months ago
I have tried all the usual tests and had the router plugged into the master socket for 14 days at one point but there was no improvement.
I have even changed the BT Homehub V3 to my old Plusnet Thompson 585 router.
Still no change

I have installed Content Server and I have setup CIS on Oracle OC4J standalone. I have also validated the configuration by the action "Validate communication with Oracle Content Server".
I tried to execute the sample program CommonSearch from SDK.
The program is taking a default query as "$author <substring> 'Adm'" and default metadata map from /resources/ucpmcommon-metamap-default.xml ]
But I got the following error:

I changed the query and executed the program, still getting the same error. I have followed the instructions in CIS developer guide to create the metamap file but unable to figure out the reason for the error. Any other suggestions?

Adobe Download assistant won't download CS5.1? error 106?
I click download and chose to put it in the program files (x86) -> adobe. I click ok then it doesn't do anything. i click download again and it says there is already a program waiting to be downloaded (error 106). I removed the assistant and tried again and got the same thing.
Soccermaverick25 I would recommend choosing a different location to download the install files too. You typically only want fully installed applications to be within Program Files (x86). It is also probable that you are having problems with being able to write to that location using the Adobe Download Assistant.
Beyond changing the download location I would also recommend the following steps:
Error 106 occurs if you have previously initiated a download and then started a second download of a different trial product before the first download finishes.
Click OK to dismiss the Error 106 message.
In the Adobe Download Assistant, check the products in your download queue. Click the Resume button if the original download is paused. -

IgorMAre you generating the .NET stored procedure using VS 2003 or VS 2005? If you are using VS 2003 then you should have .NET framework v1.1 (or v2.0) installed in your database server. If it is VS 2005, then you must have .NET framework v2.0.50727 installed in your database server?
Can you please check registry value of ".NETFramework" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\KEY_<HOMENAME>\ODE where <HOMENAME> is the appropriate Oracle home in the database server.

Download assistant reports Error 106
I downloaded the Download Assistant, but when I open it and choose the folder I want to Download the trial version of InDesign 5.5 nothing happens and trying again I get an error message: There is already a product waiting to be added (Error 106)...I wait and wait but nothing happens!? What do I do???
What folder are you choosing to download the install files too? I would recommend choosing the default which is your User folder or your Desktop.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.
