Lumia 520 cant connect to Wifi

For heavens sake .Lumia 520 is a smartphone that cant connect to wifi. very useless. I have tried all those steps abt settings on the router without success. i love my fone but i feel disappointed with it..Feel like i can return it to shop

Is it just your wifi that you have problems connecting to or is it all wifis? What router settings have you checked? Router settings can be a complex maze but there is no reason why the 520 should not connect unless there is an issue with your specific handset.

I have exactly the same problem. Would appreciate some advice.
Please don't suggest changing the settings in the corporate network - this is simply impossible. And unnecessary, as I can judge from the other Windows-phones of my colleagues (not Lumia 820) which CAN connect to the hidden network.

I have had an iPod Touch 1G for quite some time now, but I recently upgraded the iOS firmware to 3.1.3, and I just noticed that I cant connect to wifi! Nothing is grayed out, but it cannot find any connections. Ive tried resetting my router and wifi settings, but that diddnt seem to work either.

So it is not this problem:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Teh try:
Does the iPod connect to other networks? (noit clear if you have access to more than one)
Does the iPod see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Depends on whether or not the machine is under warranty or not. If it is, just take it to an applestore and let them worry about it. If not, your airport card may have failed and may need to be replaced. It could also be that the card needs to be reseated, which is what I would check first. Look for a guide at ifixit.com.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I had the same problem. I reset my network settings as iOS 8 on my iPad 3 seemed a bit slow. When I tried to reconnect to the wifi the correct password was not accepted immediately.
after retrying several times it did manage to join the network. The only observation I had was that I had a weak signal and an iPhone next to me at the time.
make sure you are close to the wifi signal away from any other wifi devices.

Ever since I updated my iphone 4s, I cant connect to WiFi.
I've read various threads on WiFi connectivity issues, and tried numerous things to fix it, but none have worked
In my household, there are 2 iphone 4's, mine and my girlfriends, which are both connected to eachother on a shared plan. Hers 100% works, all the time. Mine, does not work, will not connect to anything, and most of the time will not even find any networks available.
I've tried resetting network settings, I've tried restoring my router, I've tried fidgiting with the channels and speeds, somethings wrong here and its just with my specific phone. Is anyone else having this issue and has anyone resolved it?

It's hard to provide help when your question starts out with, "I tried all solutions" however here is some troubleshooting advice.
If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

My iphone doesn't recognize any signal wifi.
I have rebooted the red options as indicated on apple portal.
Also, I have turned off my iphone and when I turn it on don't enable the wifi option, and then I have to turn it off and turn it on again.
I have restored to the factory settings but the problem continues.
I don't know anything else to do.
