Mac Mini's Airport Extreme card extremely inconsistent, for some reason

Hi there. I am the owner of a late 2006 Mac Mini, which is currently running OS X 10.4.11. Up until about 2 days ago, the wireless internet connection was perfect. Then, I started noticing that pages would not load, sometimes (mostly) very slowly,and if they loaded, it would be at dial-up speeds. (I have Verizon Wireless 768kbps DSL). The funny thing is, the other computers connected to the wireless network were running fine, and when I connected it directly via ethernet port, the internet was fine.
I have tried resetting the PRAM, disconnecting all the cables so that it would reset, resetting permissions, the whole nine yards. There was a brefi period of time after resetting the PRAM that the internet speeds were normal, but now, it seems to have problems even maintaining decent signal strength, where before it would be at full strength. I am at a loss of what to do, short of buying a USB wireless card (and I don't even know if that would do the trick). If you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Mini has a postage-stamp size antenna in the back upper right corner (as you view the Mini from the front).
This is the least capable antenna in any Mac. As such, its signal is prone to blockages and reflections. And it will perform the least well in any situation where signal is diminished, reflected, or there is interference.
I would consider whether the Mini is located or oriented differently from when it was working OK. And whether any other objects (or people) have been introduced between it and the wireless router.
It could also be affected by radio interference in the room. Sources could be from other wifi, bluetooth, wireless phones, or microwave ovens.
And if you have near neighbors, the interference could come from them.
The most reliable fix would be to run ethernet cable to the router. Lacking that, try re-orienting the Mini slightly -- and perhaps re-orienting the wifi router.
Changing the channel of the wifi router can help if the problem is interference.

Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me.

I don't have the same version of OS X here but try System Preferences>Keyboard. Is there an option similar to "Use the F1, etc, keys as standard function keys"?
If so, and it has a checkmark, uncheck it & see if that does the trick.

Airport Extreme: Can't Print for some reason

While trying to set up my Airport Extreme, and trying to get my computer to print to my printer it's connected to (my computer reads the printer just fine) then it gives me the error message, "An error occurred communicating with the selected base station," when I try to set things up on my Airport Setup Assistant. It's not printing to the printer, even though I downloaded both the driver and installed the Airport Extreme Cd. This is the image that I see: http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture1zm8.png
Please help! Do I HAVE to hook the printer or Airport Extreme up to a computer in order to have it work? Or can it just be plugged into the router, and the printer plugged into the usb jack in the back of the AE? There is one light in the middle of the AE that is lit, and that's about it... Stacking doesn't work in anything but folder view, and even then only when you are viewing images in a single folder (not including its subfolders). I may have some details wrong on this last bit, I can't quite remember this morning.

Mac mini Leopard connects to Apple extreme BUT XP WONT CONNECT HELP PLEASE

*I have a new mac mini intel 1.83 ghz Core 2 Duo I used bootcamp to partition Windows XP pro SP2*
*I was initially easily able to connect to my wireless Apple extreme in either Leopord 10.5.4 or Windows XP.*
*I then installed all the new (100) security updates for SP2 and now Windows XP sees my airport extreme but for some reason can't connect. I set up the Wizard using a manual network key and using the same password for my network connection. When I startup in Leopard 10.5.4 no problems always connected to Airport extreme. But no connection on Windows XP to wirelessx Apple extreme.*
*I wonder if anyone has a solution, maybe a detailed explanation how to set up with the Windows XP network wizard?*

I have no idea what happened. I plugged in my USB flash drive in an attempt
to run the Apple Airport utility for windows to see if that would get me connected, but just as I plugged in the USB drive my wireless connection flashed and said CONNECTED and I've been good for the past 12 hours. I never had to use the Apple Airport utility.
I just wish I knew what happened in case I lose this connection and have to try & reconnect....I guess I could always try inserting a usb drive!

If you mean AppleCare, then I would believe the answer will be yes.
First make sure you have a full backup of everything on your Mac, then run, don't walk to your nearest Apple store.

Connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable and use the camera as the card reader. Make sure the camera is in playback mode.

Mac mini set to make external drive default for storing media

Running multiple computers in the home how do I set an external NAS device as the default for all iTunes content so it can work with my Mac Mini and AppleTV? Mac Mini does not have enough storage space for all the media and rather than keep music on one computer and movies and TV Shows on another would rather have it all in once place...

Mac Mini Lion Servers - just unboxed... have some ???s

Hi all, I just unshrinkwrapped two mac mini lion servers (mid 2011) and they both won't run imovie! Can anyone explain why? Oh, I see, there is an update to 9.0.6, so perhaps that will fix. I've updated everything else but the iLife stuff, which would not let me update outside of MAS. Boy, is that annoying... so I have to download those twice, and I am sitting here with the updates on a thumbdrive
But my big question here is: why isn't this product treated like a seperate product, with it's own forum? or docs on setup? All I can find in how to install/migrate Lion server, but nothing specific to the stuff in the box (preconfigured lion server, two drives, etc.) So do I just try and use the installing Lion Server docs and try and figure out where to jump in?
Also, is there a site where I can go to get answers about the setup itself... I have the PeachPit Apple Pro book, but again, it's really dense. I don't want to be certified, I just want to set up a webserver, learn about Active Directory, set up workgroup access for a small team, set up a media and mail server. That's it

Typically, when changing out networking hardware, it is always a good idea to perform a complete power reset of all of your networking equipment.
I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
If the above steps do not solve the problem, start over with step 1 above, but then perform the next steps between steps 1 & 2. above.
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Continue with step 2 in the first set of steps.
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results.

You do not tell us what OS version you have. In OS 10.8.2, do this:
Apple Menu / System Preferences / Language and Text / Input Sources.
Select the language you want. Mine is set to Canadian English.
