[Macbok Pro 15,4"] Nominal full load for battery

Hi,
I've bought a macbook pro 15,4" 2.2GHz two weeks ago
at start, the health of my battery never grow more than 98%
now it is not more than 97%
the nominal full load seem to be 5600mAh and now I have 5439mAh max
I did 6 full battery unload load, reinstall leopard, and all operation to calibrate the battery but I never got 100% of the battery
is some have the same behavior ?

Nominal full charge capacity for a new 15" MB battery is usually stated as 5500 mAh (technically, it's 5555.5 mAh, but programs like iStat and CoconutBattery use the 5500 mAh value).
But "nominal" is just that. (Try this tip - move your cursor so it hovers over the word 'nominal' and press Apple-Ctrl-D, then read the 3rd definition.) A nominal value is a stated value that the 'real' value does not necessarily correspond exactly to. So, some new batteries have full charge capacities of ~5400 mAh, some ~5700 mAh, etc. Nominal full charge capacity for a 17" battery is 6300 mAh, and my replacement battery (for one that failed) started off at 6650 mAh.
The full charge capacity will change over the life of the battery, usually going slowly down, but sometimes up slightly.
First off, be sure you properly calibrated your battery.

You should do that every couple of months.
Keep an eye on 'health' but don't obsess. Apple spec is >80% health over 300 cycles.

If you are getting unique constraint error, you can change the index to non unique via the DAC, let it complete and then debug why you are getting duplicate data. By forcing it to full implies that sourece is not providing duplicates but the incremental loads are whoich may be a different issue than source data being bad.

FULL LOAD FOR A SINGLE INFOBJECTS IN ODS

Hi,
I am in a scenario, where I need to do a repair full load for one of my ODS object which is extracting data from R/3 system.
But the problems lies in extraction time, the estimated time to complete the full load is 90hour....which quite impossible to afford in production environment. Hence looking for a solution through which I can load only the modified info object of the ODS.
Can anybody share some thoughts on this please?

It seems in our case, modifying the transfer structure is troublesome as it involves lot of routines in many info object..
Can someone suggest me what method I should proceed with to bypass this too long running full load, but need to have a data refresh to that particular infobjects (at least) to make the changes available on old data.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Can I use full load for daily loads in LO Cockpit extraction.

I am using LO cockpit extraction for 2LIS_11_VAITM and i am using delta load for daily load and I have following doubt.
Can i use full load for daily loads instead of delta in LO Cockpit extraction.
Because, my understanding is that full load always takes data from setup tables in ECC and set up tables will not have delta data.

You are right abt the understanding that full load (atleast for the extractor at hand) brings data from setup tables. You are also right that delta records are not loaded into setup tables.
So if you plan to do full loads every day, you have to load the setup tables everyday. It is at this juncture that I have to remind you that, filling of setup tables requires a downtime of the system to ensure that no changes / creates happen during the process.
Hence performing a full load is not a very good approach to go by...especially when SAP made the job easy by doing all the dirty work of identifying changes and writing them to extraction queue.

Dear SN,
When ever you already have some Init Requests and Full Requests , your Delta will not be activated for the ODS.
Now Just use RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG to make all your Full requests in to Repair requests. then go to IP Delete your Init Req, Then load a Init Req without data transfer if you feel that all your history till date is available or else, you can always load Repair requests, by setting the same in the Infopackage -->Scheduler in the menu , for all your history data .

Mac Pro, Fans fire up full speed for no reason - randomly!

So, here is another fan issue with the Mac Pro, and I am at a loss. Perhaps someone can help me with this one. I have a Mac Pro I bought in mid '07, dual 2.66 GHz. I have 2 7300GT video cards, which don't have fans of their own to be making the noise...
The computer, when left doing nothing will ramp up full speed for God knows what reason. There is usually almost nothing open for applications, and no major processes running. Menu Meters shows the processor load to be minimal, not a heavy load that would cause heat-issues from processors working hard.
There is really no way to get the fans to slow back down either. The machine is still fully functional, I can open, close or work on software, so nothing is "frozen". I have quit all applications to no avail. The machine will not go to sleep when this occurs, and half the time will not power off using the shut down menu selection either; requiring a forced shut down. Upon reboot, it is fine... (until it decides once again to take off).
This is not the fans roaring when waking from sleep issue, I have had that one as well (bad ram).
Thoughts?

Last night, after I shut down, my fans slowly ramped up into high gear. They went to full rotation, and I let it whirr for four or five minutes, thinking it would shut itself off. It never did, so I just pulled the plug on the CPU. I plugged it back in five seconds later, and it stayed shut down after that.
It's been working more or less flawlessly other than this... most stable Mac I've ever had.

How to do a full load in DAC for a particular Module?

Hi,
We have one Execution plan loading all the BI Analytics module as of now.
1)Financials,
2)Procurement and Spend,
3)Supply Chain and Order Management and
4)EAM
Issue is if i go to Tools-->ETL Management-->Reset Data Sources in DAC, it refreshes dates for all the Tables in the warehouse. ( and hence full load for all the Modules happens when i start the execution plan)
I dont want full load for other modules, just want to do full load for a particular Module lets say EAM Module ( and also want to make sure that this particular full load doesnt create issues with the data for other modules)
Let me know how to achieve this.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

I can get a list of all the Facts and dimensions for a particular module from BI Apps Content guide... and then i can go and make refresh dates as Null for those Tables.
Now should i run the execution plan for one particular module or an Execution plan containing all the modules?
Cause i got this from someone..
"The Data models for the different modules have many common dimensions, so a reload of one module could leave the facts in another in an invalid state as the dimension keys would be moved.
Therefore it should not be expected that you can reload a module in isolation.
However, you can selectively do a reload of any table by resetting it's refresh date in the DAC console.
Then the DAC will determine the dependent objects that will also need a full load in order to maintain data consistency."

Dyeing under full load

Hello all,
my mac pro is getting the black reset screen after being under full load for a few seconds.
for example i can rendering out some 3d graphics or exporting some video from QT and the machine dies.
When it tries to reboot the main hard drive sounds like it wont kick in and i dont even get the apple start up sound. I have to remove the HDD and plug it in to another machine with a usb adapter to get it to kick in again. i put it back in the pro and i'm back in business, but as soon as i get full load it goes again.
drive and permissions repair comes up clean,, as does the apple hardware test.
this is a major problem because this system is the office work horse and i need to be able to put high volume stuff through with out a second thought.
And suggestions?

Is your profile current on this? I ask because I'd guess you have Radeon X1900 which needs to be cleaned out every few months and the fans need to be kicked up a bit, too. So first check for dust bunnies clogging the intake on the graphic card.
The 2nd thing I would do, not related, is boost the RAM to something more like 4 x 1GB or 4 x 2GB.
Disk drives: configured as a dedicated boot drive, OS and apps only; scratch or editing drive array; media drive(s) or array. And image your OS for safe keeping then just use whatever backup tools you have, maybe to run automatically as well as manual.
Don't rely on anything less than Disk Warrior. Permissions repair aren't the problem and what you need to do is insure the directory of all your drives, and your data, is intact. And Disk Utility won't do that.
SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner would help insure you have backups and good data.

Regarding Financial Analytics Full Load in DAC

Hi All,
Today i have started full Load for financial analytics for subject areas : "Revenue, Receivables, Paybles, General Ledger, Cost of goods Sold". The issue is "SDE_ORA_GLBlanceFact_Full", "SDE_ORA_GLJournals_Full" these two tasks failed due Database driven error(Unable to execute the query in Sourcequalifier). Because of these two tasks remaining tasks are gone into "Stopped" status in DAC. Out of 400 tasks only 56 tasks successful, 342 in stopped status, 2 failure. Can anyone please tell me how to resolve the error and start the remaining tasks. Please guide me if am i miss any steps while configuration.

Full Load to 0BBP_SC_TD_1 taking more time

HI All,
Full Load for 0BBP_SC_TD_1 DS from Source(SRM) to BI is taking long time. It has aroung 450,000 records in the source and it is taking 5-6 hrs to complete the load. And delta takes only 2 min for 20k records. The extractor pulls data from many tables.
We need to do full load next week.
Do anyone of you faced the same issue. Also please let me know if there is any way to improve the performance. If there are any SAP Notes for this do let me know.

Are there any failed records in the PSA ?
What version & SP level have you for:
- SRM Server
- BI_CONT
- SAP_BW
Note 1064721 may be useful depending on your SP levels.
Check the background job of the extraction (BIREQU_....) & see if there are any errors or if time is wasted in a customer enhancement.

COPA delta and Full load inconsistent result

Hi ,
whn i do a Full load for COPA(datasource 1_CO_PA1159000) for one particular order number, it returned 5 line items.but when i tried to do Initialization load it returned only 4line items. One line item is missing.
Can anyone let me know what could cause this inconsistence between a full load and initialization load on the same datasource extraction.

Data could be picked from summarization levels or the base tables. The source of data may vary for Full/Init. Please check section 3.4 Data source for CO-PA extraction in the How to CO-PA extraction doc....

BW Delta and Full load

Hi !
This is a simple question with BW 3.5 :
A standard extractor with Delta is extracting everyday delta to 1st level ODS -> 2nd level ODS -> Cube.
Now i want to add 2 ODSes in same flow and they should also catch all these delta. Along with that I want to load for remaining period of this month (ex. Full load from 1st to today of the month and then onwards delta)
So new structure would be
0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 -> Level 1 existing ODS delta -> Level 2 existing ODS Delta
-> New level 1 ODS with delta -> New Level 2 ODS with delta
Can you please let me know how to do that ?
Full , delta info package ?
(FYI - i loaded full load for history and then tried delta, but delta failed saying Full load is already there in system)

Partik,
My suggestion is load data from exiting Level 1 DSO to 2 New DSO's instead of loading directly from source to New DSO's.
To do that... removed initialization from Level1 DSO to 2nd level DSO and Re-Initialize WITHOUT data transfer by considering new DSO's also and continue delta's.
Use full load infopackages to load historic data from Level 1 DSO to 2 new DSO's.
Flow now should be:
0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 -> Level 1 existing ODS delta -> Level 2 existing ODS Delta
Level 1 existing ODS delta -> New DSO's
If FULL loads already there in DSO's further delta's wont work. Convert FULL loads to repair full load using Program: RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG.
Then continue delta's.

We are doing delta loads to a cube which is initialized in 2007.
Now we have some problem with the data cause 2 deltas are missing for Aug
so I just want to selective deletion for aug and i want to do a full load for aug
my doubt is
after that full load daily delta will be sucessfull?

Hi,
Before going on with the load, check the following points:
1. Check if all the delta has been moved up to the cube and all the data request in lower level has datamart status set.
2. If there are some request without data mart status move those reqeust to cube before doing the full load.
Then go for the selective deletion from the cube and reload as full update. You should be able to load delta further. There wont be any problem. Even if you have problem, since you have made sure that all the request has gone up and delta mart has been set in lower level you can break the init and reinit from lower level to current cube.

Repair full load

Hi,
I have "Billing document" number( 9000182) in ODS .
For the debugging purpose I want to do " REPAIR FULL LOAD' only for this document .
can i do repiar FULL LOAD" for this documetn in Production system?. Is there any problem if i do repair full load. any data mismatch occurs.
I can do selective deletion and i can do " REPAIR FULL LOAD' but my doubt is any problem will come as it is ' PRODUCTION System".
Please confirm .U r suggestions will be helpful.

If you are doing this for debugging purpose,Then no need to delete the data from ODS.
Follow the below steps.
1) Run IP with options "load till PSA" and selections for Billing no 9000182(If you think it will run for longtime,do full repair or run it as full load)
2)If you want to check thi data in CUBE's as well then run in simulation mode using Update rules with respect to each target.
