For every incoming mail I get a Mail Delivery from [email protected] since this morning.
I'm reading more and more posts from people with the same problem.

This has been widely reported, and Apple have said that it is under investigation.

  • Mail Delivery Failure for every incoming email

    Hey,
I have been receiving mail delivery emails with every incoming email.  Is this a server side issue or is my email hacked?
    Thanks,
    Grant

I'm getting this too...... I was going to change my password ....So this is for sure a server problem.... So apple is looking into this?

  • Mail delivery error with 5510 e-print. updates and connection are ok. friend has same problem.

I have checked all of the updates and connections for my new printer.  As far as I can tell, I've checked everything that needs to be checked and all is good.  But, I still get the Mail Delivery error when e-printing.  And my friend has the same problem with her new 5510 b111a.  What could possibly be the problem?  Regular printing, scanning and so on work fine with my wireless connection.

So it sounds like it may be an Issue with the provided Email Address from your internet service provider, you are sending from ,
What i would suggest as a test is to create a Email account either with g mail and or yahoo, and try to send the email to your eprint account/Email, and see if it accepts the email also, make sure you have your printer set to Accept email from all users you can do this by logging into Eprint Center and then going into these settings and selecting that option
    I am an HP employee.

  • Delayed mail delivery error with 1 internal user

We have an Exchange 2010 with 100 mailboxes  1 of our users is not getting any emails suddenly today after a server restart last night . She is not getting email from internal or external to the organization. All senders get a delayed delivery response
back from the exchange server when sending a message to her. All other users can send/receive internal and external. I ran the mail flow tool and there were no red checks for errors. User is not disabled in exchange nor in AD. I am lost at where to go next.

  • Getting "Error in sieve filter" message with each incoming mail and cannot recieve or send mail to or from iCloud account apart from Apple emails!! Please help!

Since approx 7am GMT I've been getting "Error in sieve filter" message with each incoming mail, worse though, since about 12 noon I cannot recieve or send mail to or from my iCloud account apart from I've been getting  emails from Apple (ie I've just received a welcome one from Apple Support Communities...)!! I've had this account for years, never had a problem - it can't be the OSX Mail server because the problem is the same when I log directly into iCloud. I've tried sending emails from my Hotmail account to my iCloud account (a .mac) and just get undeliverable messages back. I'm really in the s**t now at work. : (  I just set up a Smart TV yesterday with a wireless dongle - that's the only thing I've done out of the ordinary. I've spoken to Sky who are my ISP and they say all's fine with them (although the router kept kicking my off the internet this morning which was strange...). Router seems fine now though.  I'm really hoping someone here can help!!
    Many thanks!!

Do you think once Apple sort this out I'll get my missing emails back?

  • How can I stop Mail from automatically archiving every incoming and outgoing email?

Mail is automatically archiving every incoming and outgoing message, and then synch'ing that with my iPhone -- thus sucking up all available memory.  I have never asked it to automatically archive everything, and can't figure out how to stop it.  Any ideas?

    Launch Mail.
    Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Advanced
Uncheck the box beside "Include when automatically checking for new messages".
Do it for all accounts if you want.
    Best.

  • How can I stop getting 30 - 50 "Mail Administrator" or "Mail Delivery Errors" from occorring in my e-mail on a daily basis

Every time I log in to my e-mail I see 30 to 50 "mail delivery" errors. This is very frustrating to each time having to delete those items. I have blocked and clicked on spam, but there is no change.

For goodness sake, it is most likely [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backscatter_%28email%29 backscatter], changing your mail password probably will not help but is a prudent thing to do, but it is actually quite unlikely that anyone is trying to use your mail account.
There is basically nothing that can be done about backscatter, as the article I linked to advises.

  • Mail delivery error when trying to send document to hpeprint. I know the email address is correct

I just got the HP8600.  I set up eprint according to the instructions.  When I email a document to the printer, I get a Mail Delivery error:
This message was created automatically by the mail system (ecelerity).
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
    >>> [email protected] (reading confirmation): 550 5.7.1 Command
    >>> rejected
I know the email address is correct.  I don't know what to do to get this to work.

The Q.com provider seems to have issues sending to our servers for some reason. Other email providers will work fine like you've found with your gmail account. The best workaround at this time is to send from your gmail account if possible.

  • Never had trouble before with my incoming mail but just now I get a messege saying the user name or password for verizon is incorrect on my iPad but is fine on my home computer what's wrong with my ipad

Never had trouble before with my incoming mail but just now getting messege that says the user name or password for verizon is incorrect yet my home computer is fine only have this od my iPad

I experienced same problem tonight and called Verizon technical support and they walked me through the settings on iPad. Took about 5 minutes. Basically it involved changing incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and changing outgoing.verizon.net to smtp.verizon.net. But it's worth the call to ensure other settings are OK. Evidently, change at Verizon was effective today!

  • Mail delivery errors

Hi, recently I'm getting tons of Mail Delivery System errors. 69 today alone. When I delete them, they come right back. Many are the same email and sometimes the page is blank. Very weird. The only thing i did differently was to try and set up a rule for people to know I was on vacation. Did not work, and had hundreds of MDS errors upon my return. Have deleted the rule but still not working properly. I also have to force quit on mail often to get it to shut down. Any ideas how to clean this up?
    Cheers

I've got the same problem. One thing that helped was to clean out my inbox on my ISP's server. That stopped the force quit problem, at least for now, and also stopped a problem where mail received after that Mail delivery error message wouldn't come into my Mail application. BUT I'm still getting the tons of Mail Delivery System error messages, and yes, even when I delete them, they come right back. The message, which seems blank until I double click on it to open it in a new window, was correct. One address I'd sent an email to is no longer good, which is why one of those messages would have made sense. I see that there is a Windows virus that does this, and am wondering if there might be a Mac one also???

  • I have a new Mac and mail is showing thousands of incoming mails that do not show up on the computer.  does anyone know what is going on?

I purchased a Mac OS x 10.9 in December. When using Mac Mail i get thousands of incoming mails that do not show up on my computer.  Does anyone have any idea what is going on?  this sure never happened on my old mac. i have three email accounts.  gmail, verizon and hotmail.

I posted the same question a day ago with no response. I'm using an Acer x193w. You actually don't have to switch monitors to get it to work. Just make sure you turn off the monitor after shutting down the Mac mini (actually push the power button on the monitor, not just let it go to sleep). If you turn on the monitor (push the power button on the monitor), then power up the Mac mini, the monitor is recognized. The issue didnt exist with Snow Leopard for me. It only started after I started using Lion. Hope this issue gets fixed In a future OS update.

  • Problems sending mail: some problem with the outgoing mail server SMTP?

I can't send e mails: some problem with the outgoing mail server SMTP?

I had this same problem with both my imac and mac book pro using hotmail via mac mail with bt as my internet provider. Suddenly 4 months ago out of nowhere i could receive emails but could not send them. I scoured all the threads followed all the fixes none of them worked. However I just phoned apple support and fixed it in a matter of minutes. I am SO happy. This is what the technician advised me:
Go to your apple icon and scroll down to system preferences. Then dependant on what machine you have it is different for my imac and mac book pro click on either air port/wifi then the advanced tab in the bottom right hand corner. Then click on the DNS tab. Hit the + sign on the left hand side and type in 8.8.8.8 then hit the + sign again on the left hand side it will create a new line underneathe and type 8.8.4.4 then hit okay on the bottom right and then hit apply, again on the bottom right. Then send a test email to check but it should be fixed.
Had to share this. Its been driving me mad for months.

  • 10.6.5 Mail.app_Console errors with certain MobileMe mailboxes

I have errors in Console due to failures in opening the Sent Mail Folders in MobileMe- notably Sent Messages, Sent Items, Drafts. These errors seem to cause Mail to quit and may also have caused the recent kernel panic on this machine. Recovered from kernel panic I saw the console log of errors. That led to discovering the locked folders.
Surprised to learn, in looking for the point of failure, that somehow the mailboxes preferences were changed to inaccessible to me, and therefore could not be accessed within my username in Mail. I think that caused the problem. Am unsure what did caused this, when it happened, or why this occurred. It is clearly a problem though. Compared with my MacPro (same version OS, Mail) and that is definitely not right.
I noticed this today after several times that Mail quit inexplicably followed by a kernel panic.
    Henry
    So to my questions:
    1. How to fix it? Terminal would get me there but what settings to use?
    2. How to keep it from recurring?
If you have an idea to save some time on hold with Apple support (and BTW, some really bad advice from them awhile ago about Disk Utility, but I digress...) please advise. You can download a screenshot of the locked file folders (in ~/Users/Library/Mail/Mac-xxx).

Also, when clicking on the little "trash" symbol to erase a message, it seems to be completely inactive and only does the job if I forcibly click on it 3-4 times....
    It is very frustrating!

Since installing Mavericks on my iMac my outgoing talktalk mail has stopped working. Incoming talktalk mail works fine as does iCloud outgoing and incoming. I have checked settings and these all appear ok. My MacbookAir without Mavericks continues to work fine with the same talktalk router etc used with the iMac.
Has anybody else had this ?

  • Mail Delivery Error only when sending from certain email accounts

I posted in another thread regarding this however the problem has seemed to get more interesting.
On a whim i decided to change which e-mail account I was sending from and re-sent the exact same PDF document from my MobileMe(instead of Gmail) and it worked perfectly!! got the e-print confirmation about it preparing for printing and then whalla the print! Went back to try gmail and got the Mailer Deamon error again:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
         [email protected]
    Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 Command rejected (state 18).
could it be specifically related to Gmail or googles servers? Are there specific mail providers that work/don't work(for example MobileMe vs Gmail vs Yahoo, BlackBerry, etc...)
Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

and while I had read that information and appreciate you re-providing that I'm still not sure exactly what that tells me. In both cases I was using Apple's Mail (once to send from a Gmail account which failed and once from MobileMe win succeeded) and then again from my BlackBerry handhelp(in which case neither account worked)
since both Apple Mail, Blackberry and also Gmail are "tested" I'm assuming you're pointing out the "testing does not guarentee full compatibility"  portion of this statement which to me is misleading. If I'm using only "tested" clients but having problems it feels slightly dishonest to be marketing this product as complete. While I am optimistic about the many possibilities offered by this printer I am disappointed at present by the limited and seemingly premature release of "e-print" as a whole.
Any other potential workarounds you can think of?
