Mailman executed as the "wrong" group

After I installed a few updates and restarted my server mailman won't accept mails and throws this error instead:
Command died with
status 2: "/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman post admins". Command output:
Group mismatch error. Mailman expected the mail wrapper script to be
executed as group "80", but the system's mail server executed the mail
script as group "mailman". Try tweaking the mail server to run the script
as group "80", or re-run configure, providing the command line option
`--with-mail-gid=mailman'.
but the group with id 80 is the mailman group...
grep mailman /etc/group
mailman:x:80:
The mail server is a normal postfix setup and all the alias tables and transport maps are owned by the group mailman.

If you look at the converter api doc of getObjectAs it states: "Convert the specified string value, which is associated with the specified UIComponent, into a model data object that is appropriate for being stored during the Apply Request Values phase of the request processing lifecycle."
However when I run a simple test with a debug phaselistener and a converter and they print data using system.out.println I see that the getAsObject is called in the process validations phase. I think this is incorrect. Has anybody seen this before?

Under Section "3.3.2 Converter" it clearly reads as it was quoted above:

There is no mention here of the immediate flag, so one should be able to assume that

Then there's there's this quote from Section "2.2.2 Apply Request Values":
Components that implement EditableValueHolder (such as UIInput), and
whose immediate property is set to true, will cause the conversion and
validation processing (including the potential to fire ValueChangeEvent events)
+that normally happens during Process Validations phase to occur during Apply+
Request Values phase instead.
How can it be that conversion "normally happens during Process Validations phase"
when a converter's getAsObject method is called called during the Apply Request Values
phase? Isn't that contradictory?

I want to edit tunes from my violin lessons so I can play along without constantly having to stop the playing and re-set back to the beginning. How do I do that? Am I asking the correct group? Thanks for your help!

My violin teacher records tunes for me to practice at home. I download the recording onto iTunes. I want to replay the same tune over and over again without having to stop every single time to manually re-set and re-start the same tune. It would be better if I could edit out some of the verbal instructions if possible.
I can't even figure out how to replay any single tune over and over again. I apologize if I chose the wrong group. If so maybe someone could steer me in the right direction.

I am running a PowerBookPro and have just installed TomTom Home for use with a 910 Gps unit.
The only problem is the progrma starts automatically when the laptop starts up and sits on the task bar. Is there a way of stopping this?
Also, if anyone has experience with TomTomHome, the program keeps list my iDisk as a unit.....is there a way of stopping that happening as well?

Hi TSG,
No experience with TomTom, but if you don't want it to launch automatically you can click its icon in the dock (and keep it clicked), than uncheck "Open at Login".
Also see if it appears at: System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items. Remove it from there. And by the way remove anything else you don't need. It will speed up your startup time.

Has anyone else had Library incorrectly group photos in the wrong year?

Hi All
I have just noticed, after installing iPhoto 06, that the app has sorted over 4,000 of my pics in to a '2006' folder. I like taking photos but not 4,000 in 34 days! Nearly all these photos were taken in 2005 (there are separate folders in my library for 2005, '04, '03 and earlier).
I tried moving the pics in to the correct year folder but that did not work. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have a similar (maybe same) problem. I just got a new iMac and imported 9000 images from my external harddrive. Images had been accessed via my WIndox XP computer.
iPhoto imported images but put several hundred pictures into the wrong "year" folder. 300 pics taken on a 2001 vacation were put into a year 2000 folder (didn't even have a camera in 2000). Some pics taken in 2001 were put into the 2002 folder.
Can I manually take the pictures from the original/modified 2000 folder and move them into the 2001 folder, ... ?
Anyone?

No nutrient listing maintained for the nutrient group

I have maintained the nutrients in the nutrient group. I have given the area, UOM. I can find the nutrient group in the drop down while chaning the recipe. But once i select the nutrient gorup i get the warning message "No nutrient listing maintained for the nutrient group." I am not able to understand what's wrong. Planning file enteries in OMDO for every plant then system will atomatically update the planning file for every material that have valid MRP data.
If MRP is active for the plant and you have maintained the MRP views then planninf file enteris will be automatically made by the system when there is change relavant to MRP.
Check table MDVM to see whether there is an entry created after executing transaction MD20?
You can also run program RMMDVM20 to create planning entries.

MDRE : Check planning file entry
Can you check the MRP type for the material in material master (MM02)?

Leaving Action executed in the Middle Of the Payroll Period

I am Trying to execute Leaving action For the Employee in the middle of the Payroll period thereby changing his Employee Group to Pensioner and also his payroll area to that of Pensioner.However the System is not allowing me to do so and is saying that Payroll area cannot be changed in the middle Of the Payroll Period.Plz Suggest what can be done so that the Leaving action Of the Employee can be executed in the Middle of the Payroll Period.

Hi,
In a payroll period, you can not include the same employee in two different payroll processing. Hence, you can assign the new payroll area at the beginning of the next payroll period. Alternatively, execute the separation action with the last date of the pay period.

Server 2012 - Problem with multiple instances of RDS looking to the same license server. Server Pools requiring the wrong servers.

I have two domains, prod.local and test.local. On prod.local, I have a license server living on the connection broker. I have created a two way trust between the domains so that the RDS instance on test.local can use the license server on prod.local.
When I first setup the RDS instance on test.local and point it to use the license server on prod.local everything appears to work, all servers recognize the license server.
However when I log off and back on, and click the RDS dashboard in test.local, the Remote Desktop Services overview states I need to add every server from prod.local to the server pool. This is bothersome because the Remote Desktop Services on test.local
is still functioning, but I am no longer able to manage it. When I add the servers from prod.local to the server pool I am displayed the setup for prod.local instead of test.local
Is there a way around this? Can I use the same RDS license server key multiple times?
tldr: Using a different domain's license server causes my RDS instance in Server Manager to display the wrong RDS farm.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server forum.
Please check the required ports must be opened on firewall.
- To issue RDS Per User CALs to users in other domains, there must be a two-way trust between the domains, and the license server must be a member of the Terminal Server License Servers group in those domains.
- To restrict the issuance of RDS CALs, you can add RDS Host Servers into Terminal Server Computers group on RDS Licensing servers.
- Configure RDS licensing server on all RDS Host Servers in each domain/forest. You can do it through RDS host configuration snap-in or through a group policy.
- Add administrators group of each domain/forest in the local administrators of RDS licensing server. This way, you’ll not get a prompt to enter your credentials when you’ll open RDS host configuration snap-ins in trusted domains/forests.

How do I stop Firefox from claiming to have sessionrestore errors or opening the wrong session items and/or remember the wrong window size and/or position.

Since automatically updating to version 25 Firefox is randomly opening recent tabs and windows from the browsing history, and/or randomly positioning the browser window from history.
Currently using Firefox 25.0.1 on Windows Vista and Windows 7. Problems started immediately after automatic updates to 25.0.0. Problems are most noticeable on the Vista box because it has so much screen geography (the Windows 7 box is a laptop).
Problems include:
Firefox may open the correct tabs into a properly sized and positioned window, without problem. (Not a problem, included for completeness since it does, occasionally, work without error).
Firefox open a single empty tab (about:blank, my Home page). (Listed as a problem because Firefox simply forgot the tab which was open.)
Firefox may claim it cannot open the correct tabs and pop up about:sessionrestore. Proceeding will open all tabs (usually only one or two for me). This gives the impression Firefox did not actually have a problem. But, then, often, the tab Firefox is having problems restoring is about:blank so I should hope there was no problem!
Firefox may open randomly selected recent browsing items, without other problems. This gives the impression that Firefox does not properly record recent history for about:sessionrestore. Checking History appears correct; Firefox simply reached back hours, or days, or even weeks, and restored a random session from long ago.
Any of the above may occur, but the window position and/or size will be randomly selected from another recent history item. This is most noticeable when the position is on the wrong monitor and can be annoying since Firefox simply "disappears" if (as it often is for me) that other monitor is disconnected or powered off.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.<br />
Also make sure that your anti-virus software doesn't mess with files in the Firefox profile folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

Reverse Mapping Tutorial - Finder.java queries the wrong table?!

I have been almost successful in running the Reverse Mapping Tutorial, by
creating Java Classes from the hsqldb sample database, and running the JDO
Enhancer on them.
However, I cannot get he Finder.java to work. It seems to look in the wrong
table: MAGAZINEX instead of MAGAZINE?
Did anyone have trouble with this step, or ran it successfully?

The reason I did not run importtool is because ... I actually ran it, but it
was not successfull. **!
I now tried the solutions directory, from the kodo distribution, and that
failed as well. Here is what I did:
- I went to reversetutorial/solutions, and compiled all the classes, and

Any idea why? The solutions directory should work, right? I even tried
specifying a kodo.properties file, but it did not seem to help.

Running the reversemappingtool creates classes, metadata files, and a
.mapping file. That .mapping file contains all the O/R mapping
information for how the generated classes map to your existing database
tables. What the importtool does is just transfer that mapping
information to the metadata files, in the form of <extension> elements.
The reason this is a separate step will be clear once Kodo 3.0 comes out.
So in sum, the importtool does not affect the database in any way. It

ITunes album artwork - how can I stop iTunes downloading the wrong artwork?

I was delighted to see that in the upgraded iTunes there is a facility to download album artwork using, I presume, much the same methodology as downloading track listings.
While my experience of downloading track listings has largely been OK - save for the odd niggle; my experience of the artwork function has been appalling.
Firstly, any release that is territory specific, e.g. UK only, or compilations, downloads the wrong artwork or no artwork at all. But also, the wrong artwork is attributed for classic albums by established acts. E.g. Genesis' Duke, downloads the artwork for Three Sides Line. Also, I have two Led Zeppelin albums and in each case, the art work downloaded was for the cheesy tribute group DREAD Zeppelin!!
Can anyone from Apple comment on this?
Also, if I manually insert the correct artwork; will this be overwritten if in the future I scan for updated artwork across my music collection? I have 65GB+ music on my hard drive, so that is an awful lot of album covers to get through!

Search and Replace String throwing the wrong error message with regexp?

This came up in a LAVA thread, and I'm not sure if there's a bug here or not. When using Search and Replace string, and using a regular expression of [(G[b|i])], LabVIEW throws error -4622, "There is an unmatched parenthesis in a regular expression." There are obviously no unmatched parenthesis in that expression, so it seems to me that the wrong error is being thrown. I'm just not sure if that's a syntactically valid regexp. The problem seems to be with nesting [ ]'s inside ( )'s inside [ ]'s. I've tried a couple of regexp resources on the Web, and one suggests it's valid, while the other seems to think it isn't.

It's not my regular expression. A poster at LAVA was having problems with one of his (a truly frightening one), and this seemed to be the element that was causing the problem. I'm pretty sure that the originator of the regexp meant to use G(b|i), which seems like a complicated way of matching "Gb" or "Gi", if you ask me.

Buying the wrong version of a song.

Buying the wrong version of a song. Is it final transaction? can this mistake be undone or better yet corrected?
There is this song called "gotas de lluvia" by a group "los diablos locos" which i found on youtube. I could have captured it & had a copy that way but i wanted to support this new & upcoming band. So i purchased the song however i was expecting a "salsa" version instead i got a "cumbia" version of it. I went back to itunes and looked over at the store info to see if i somehow over read or misread anything. However there is no way of telling one song version over the next, & itunes doesnt offer a way to sample the song before you purchase it. I cant seem to find any cusmomer care i can call to correct this problem instead i can only post this question and hope someone can respond with a solution. In the meantime i have lost faith in the current purchasing process of music and because i cant read or tell the difference between songs ill hate to buy two versions of the same song in order to find the one im looking for. Or worst buy the same song twice. Am i entitled for a refund or credit?
My friend says that is itunes' way of tricking customers to buying multiple songs, but i hate to think so sinicle. Can someone please tell me different?

TS1387 I am importing CD's into iTunes. There were 3 different selection for the CD I put in and I accidently selected the wrong one, Now how do I change it? It seems to only recognize it as the wrong CD now.

When you say your superdrive rips, the import speeds are typically around 20x, what encoding method and bit rate are you using ?
I imported another CD and watched for what import speed numbers were displayed. Routinely, they hovered around 8x and sometimes up to 12 or 13x, but never higher. I was told by someone at our local user's group meeting that ripping at AAC 192kbps was a double-pass, I think that was the words they used, and therefore slower. ( Many members thought 7 minutes to rip was typical ) I'm not so sure if that means the drive will only spin at half it's rated max speed ? Anyway, I walked over to my son's PC with the CD and ripped it at AAC 192kbps to his iTunes library. The numbers I saw were from 18x to frequently 23, 24 and sometimes briefly to about 26x. His drive has a max of 40x. By my reasoning, anything that would cause iTunes to rip this CD at a slower speed, whether due to the encoding rate or the CD's surface condition, should affect both computers equally, yes ? Yet the drive on the PC performed on average at twice the rate of the iMac. I think it's safe to say the rip speed is comfortably within the operating margins of both drives.
I'm not yet fully convinced this is normal for an iMac. My CD are in excellent shape. I'm the only one who uses them and I handle them with about as much care as the old audiofiles used to when they handled their vinyl LPs ( well, at least not as far as wearing cotton gloves and sweeping the dust off ). Most of them have absolutely no visible scratches or oily finger prints on their surfaces. I might experiment and see what rates I get if I use MP3 or a lower bit rate for AAC.
