MAJOR BUG - !!! Please Help!!!!!

I've been working on a song and saving regularly but I cannot load it after quitting and restarting logic.
i get an error that says " out of memory cant insert or delete data "
this is a consistent repeatable error on this particular song.
I've loaded a blank song - disabled ALL audio units from the AU manager and tried loading the corrupt song and I still get the error message.
I've backtracked to an old version and it loads but as soon as i save it it cannot be loaded and comes up with the same message?

Hmm, disable the Audio Core in Preferences->devices and try to load the Song. If it works then you can ar least access the Audio regions, plugin settings and so on and export them to a fresh project.

Baffled by a strange bug - please help!!!

I am baffled by a bug in a program I am working on that I just
can't understand. Here is the code that causes a SIGSEGV crash:

Output of gdb:

wfall_pixbuf is a struct that encapsulates a GdkPixbuf together
with some variables that hold the values of some properties like
rowstride above.
I added lines 268 and 269 in despair and the program
works well if I comment out line 270, which does (I think)
the same job as 269. I can't see how wfall_pixbuf.rowstride
can change value from line 268 to 270???

Ahh, thank you very much! rowstride is of type guint, which is
a GTK2 type definition, essentially I think it boils down to
unsigned int. So that was the issue :-)
I am surprised that I didn't make a mistake of this sort till now
but its never too late.... ;-)

Keyboard Bug - PLEASE HELP!

I've purchased my Z10 less than 1 week ago and I've noticed this problem the very next day. At first I assumed it was a small problem and it wouldn't happen often but it's been occuring EVERY DAY at least once and it's gotten really irritating now.
The virtual keyboard on the Z10 works perfectly fine, the buttons dont stick, spell check is working properly and I'm able to type with this keyboard with no problems, HOWEVER for some odd reason the keyboard STOPS functioning sometimes while I'm sending an SMS. The keyboard is still visible, I'm still able to press the buttons on the keyboard as they become highlighted whenever I do. However, no actual letter/character appears in the message box no matter how many buttons I press. The only thing which seems to temporarily fix this problem is restarting my blackberry Z10 device which can be very annoying and time consuming.
Please help me out with this problem as I have tried searching online for days and can't find a solution. Is this a problem with the Z10 software? will there be an update fixing this? am I the only one experiencing this problem?
Please note that I have not once dropped my phone, it's been kept in MINT condition with a case on it. Everything else works perfectly fine with my Z10, this is the only MAJOR issue

I just tried exactly what you said. Mis-spelled a word (easy for me) , hit the red underlined word, it popped up a window that said 'no suggestions', I tapped at the end of my sentence and carried on typing. No hang up at all.

So i finally converted to the x-fi wave. Point is i was all happy until i encountered the sad and super annoying playlist of the new creative media player. before i had the audigy 2zc or w/e with the old media player. but it was a lot nicer, all the features were in it and u didn't have to open different panels to access a lot of the special settings.
Point is, now i cant keep a clean record of the music i play. every time i open a new mp3. it deletes everything. only way to actually make a play list is to drag and drop a bunch ... thats way annoying. i think this is a bug. so please help me anybody Message Edited by archangel202 on 09-20-200708:27 PM

Major app store BUG, PLEASE HELP!!!

This is the situation, I updated my iPhone to 3.1 then went to Settings - store and changed my iTunes details (Apple ID.) The new apple ID was a completely different E-mail address, then I went to the App Store, got a new app, this worked fine. Then I went to update my Apps, when I tapped FREE - install it displayed the wrong E-mail, no matter what I did. Please help

Iphoto 09 major problems - PLEASE HELP!

Gosh I really hope someone can help me. .
I upgraded iphoto 09 this morning and the result has been utter chaos.
First I have 3 different iphoto libraries for different years. There are albums from 2 years ago now mixed in the middle of 2009 albums (where the websites are listed under Mobile me Gallery on the left hand side).
To make matters worse, every Mobile Me Gallery is malfunctioning. If you click on a gallery, it starts looking like it is updating the album (even though no changes have been made). It then comes up as an error and takes away the link for that gallery. When I tried to click the link to get the pics, the links are all unavailable. I have hundreds of galleries that I have created over the years.
I hope this is a common problem with new users. Please let me know.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Did you just upgrade the application and then launch each existing library with the new library?
Backup and launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild each of the libraries. Select the last three options.

Im Using Macbook black operating at Mac OS X (10.5.3), Recently I cant open my Adobe Photoshop so i decided to re-install but i still cant. So what i decided to do is to Clear all the stuffs from my macbook as there we too much things also. I want to be totally empty so i insert the Mac Disc inside and off my mac gives me a blank screen. help me please...

Hold down the C key and keep it held down
Press the power key to start it up
Continue to hold the C key until the computer is done booting up

IMovie Major Problem - Please Help!

I imported video clips from an analog source though my DV VCR into Final Cut Pro via FireWire but for reasons too technical to go into I now have to edit the project ASAP using iMovie 5.0.2
The problem is that when I import the clips they are stretched into a letterboxed format that distorts the image. Other clips that were brought in with my DV camcorder (which were shot on the camcorder) look fine and fill the screen properly but I can't find any way around the stretching problem with the clips captured from the analog source. This project has to be done by the end of the day OR ELSE! Is there anybody out there who can help me solve this problem?

That one didn't work either. I don't understand why the clips looked fine in Final Cut Pro and look fine in Quicktime but are distorted in iMovie. I know this is an Apple Forum but for crying out loud, is there ANY editing software that I can get that will just play these things correctly while my Quad is in the shop? I even have all of the clips ready for dropping into a timeline (trimmed in QuickTime Pro) and all I need to do is render it into video and audio TS files and I'm good to go. Otherwise I lose a major client! This is crazy because I own Final Cut Studio but my software is back in the States (I'm in London right now)!
Apple makes great products, and I'm a very loyal customer but this particular problem is gonna sink my business!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

MAJOR issue, please help.

So I'm using FCE 4 (there seems to be no one who can help me in that board) and I'm doing a slide show for a customer that I need to finish today. Everything plays FINE in FCE, no interlacing or anything. Then when I export using quicktime I can see a little interlacing occurring and hten when I burn that export to a dvd and play it on the mac or a dvd player the interlacing is horrendous. It occurs on SOME pictures with animated scaling (for the ken burns effect). Some pictures are unaffected and the video footage used in the slide show is also fine. Can someone PLEASE explain how I can fix this. I have used the deinterlace filter already and it doesn't work. Currently I'm trying to export it from premiere cs3 as an animation to see if that helps. I really don't understand why: 1) it looks god in FCE and not on the export and 2) why it only occurs on some of the material animated.
BTW: my easy setup is DV NTSC Firewire Basic

Problems building a spatial index - this must be a bug please help!

We have a rather large spatial data warehouse. The schema is a star schema and is partitioned. During a load recently we had an error with one particular dataset, when building the index we got:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-29855: error occured in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 10
We have seen this kind of thing before, but usually dropping the data and reloading works fine (or rebuild the index). I should not that this obviously occurs before the partition is exchanged in. We are running 10.2.0.2 on red hat ES3.
With this error we tried to reload the data, but get the same. We tried the data on another copy of the system, and the same. We have tried the data on a 10.2.0.3 and an 11.1.0.6 database and all fail at the same location. We have validated the geometries - all fine, I have tried changing the DIMINFO so that it spans the whole globe, it failes again (by the way we are on SRID 8307 and all data is point type). The data is approx 1.2M rows and I have tried subdividing it up into smaller tables and these all build fine. I have partitions with much higher row counts and these are fine. I have tried everything possible including changing index parameters e.g. parallel tablespace etc. I have tried it on a tablespace without ASSM and one with and both fail. I have an export of the data if anyone would be available to try it?
I would really appreciate any help at all on this one.

My Iphone 6 Screen has been bugging Please Help

My Iphone 6 Screen has been bugging out lately it bounces up and down and just gets really blurry. Does anyone know how to fix this?

By "Bounces up and Down", do you mean this:
The content of the screen drops down and about a third of the top of the screen is blank.
When you press the home button or any icon, the content moves back to the top of the screen.
If this is what you are seeing, it is intentional. It is meant as a way for you to be able to easily reach the icons at the top row of the screen.
Double tap the home button. Do not press the button, just lightly tap it.
All the content should drop down.
Pressing the home button or any icon will shift the content back up again.
This is a new feature designed for the larger screens in the 6 and 6+.

Solaris 10 upgrade - Major problems - PLEASE HELP

I have a v880 running Solaris 10 11/06 (U3) which I am trying to upgrade to the latest Solaris 8/11 (U10) release without much success. I am simply using the Solaris Installation Program and booting from DVD and running the upgrade option. However the process fails with the following error:
The selected Software exceeds the available disk space.
The Solaris operating environment selected to upgrade contains
a metadevice. Disk Space Re-allocation is not allowed.
Please do one of the following:
Deselect some software to be installed.
Choose another version of Solaris to upgrade. (If available)
Go back and select Initial Install.
Exit the installation.<Press ENTER to continue>
A df -h shows that / has 22Gb free, swap space is 3.1Gb free, /var has 7.1Gb free and /usr 3.1Gb free. All the documentation seems to show that that is ample space. I'm relatively new to Unix and Solaris so be gentle with me if I'm doing something stupid. Many thanks to all. An initial install is not an option as I need to keep the setup as is.

It's probably /usr that it's whining about. It's not very exact when calculating space and 3.1G is not ample space these days. This is why I put everything in the / partition anymore. Don't have to worry about this crap down the line...
You might try copying some stuff off of /usr (if you can find it) and try again.

Major bug-NEED HELP. Move any audio then no sound.

Hey..I came across what has to be a bug and it's stopped me in my tracks. I have the latest version Of Logic Pro 8. I laid some guitar tracks but everytime i try to move them to get them in synch with the grid after I move the track, there is silence. No meters visible in the MIXER..NO SOUND will play..I Undo the move and everything plays again. These are continuous audio files. Also, in this particular session now if I move any track at all same thing..All audio stops and it's as if you are looking at a blank session even though you can see all your waveforms in front of you...Now, I have out of time guitar tracks and I'm stopped dead....I tried bounding the tracks to audio and reimporting them but same thing happens...ANY TIME I move any audio, ALL SOUND STOPS.....Anyone have any ideas? try to open a new song and import files and copy channel strips setting.

Touchpad bug please help?

Okay so I'll be typing in an app. Currently using Google voice, but also happens in notepad, safari. Suddenly the app closes. Or the paragraph I'm typing is deleted...or the app jumps to another app.
What is the magic swipe/key I'm touching that causes this? I'm typing on the bottom of the screen and the back button is up top so no idea here.
Undo/Redo doesn't do anything.
Shaking the ipad doesn't bring the text back either.
Any help appreciated.
edit: I think I may have figured this out!

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

645 Ultra and Geforce 4200, major problems, please help!!

I have read through this forum and have seen different problems with this mobo and geforce cards, so first here is my set up.
P4 1.6A
645Ultra Rev 1 Bios 1.9
Visiontek 4200 128mb ddr
IBM Hard Disk 7200 rpm
300W Codegen PS
256 Corsair DDR333
Let me put it like this: With just the video card in, and "installing" winxp on a fresh formatted drive. The card/board crashes the install. I had been using a radeon 7500 on my system for awhile with no problems, but wanted more power, so bought geforce 4. Did the clean uninstall of radeon drivers,bla bla, and install the geforce 4. Nothing but problems, randoms hangs, and eventually would not even let me boot past the bios screen. When I boot in safe mode, it crashes my computer. When I put back in the radeon, no problems.
So I reformatted my whole comp, knowing anyway that it was not xp, so I had to use the radeon to reinstall xp since installer crashes with geforece card.(bye the way I tried my older geforce256 SDR, and same problems). I install fresh system, but do not install radeon drivers, turn off comp, put in geforce card on fresh install, again no drivers, and it still crashes my system...random hangs. So I install the drivers from the install CD, forgot which version, and again still crashes. So can anyone help me. This is clearly a mobo card conflict.
Could it be IRQ settings or Powersupply not enough?

I would not say it is a PSU problem as you have the same issues with the other cards.
IRQ could be if you have anything plugged in PCI slot 1 and 2.

ResetPasswrd Bug - Please Help

We are using the 11g ASP.Net membership provider, according to the Oracle documentation the ResetPassword method behaves as follows:
"If an incorrect answer is supplied to the ResetPassword method, the internal counter that tracks invalid password-answer attempts is incremented by one."
The counter does not appear to be incrementing. Is there some way of changing the stored procedure? Or a bug fix being released for this?

First of all, RequiresQuestionAndAnswer must be set to true. Otherwise,
invalid password-answer attempts are not tracked.
Secondly, how long is the value (in minutes) you set for PasswordAttemptWindow
property through passwordAttemptWindow attribute? The default value is 10 minutes.
The doc about PasswordAttemptWindow property mentions,
"The PasswordAttemptWindow property works in conjunction with the MaxInvalidPasswordAttempts
property."
But it does not mention that if the interval between the current failed attempt and the last failed
attempt is greater than the PasswordAttemptWindow property setting, each failed attempt is
treated as if it were the first failed attempt."
In this case, the counter for password-answer attempts will remain 1 and does not increment.
Microsoft doc about Membership.PasswordAttemptWindow Property says:
"If the interval between the current failed attempt and the last failed attempt is greater than the
PasswordAttemptWindow property setting, the current invalid attempt is counted as the first."
