Make a BEEP when automator plugin completes its work

I was wondering if there is any way to reproduce some BEEP sound when an automator plugin (eg. upload with scp) completes its work, otherwise I can't know if it really uploads the file on the server or not.

Try the following I think it will do what you need. At the end of your workflow, after the uploading steps add one additional action. Add a "Run Applescript" Automator action. That action is built into Automator so it should be there. Replace the Words "Your Script Here" with the command beep followed by a number. Example, Beep will cause the system to beep five times.
Instead of using Beep I tend to make the script verbally tell me when it is done. To do that use the word Say and put the phrase you want it to speak in quotes. I don't remember if you have to have enable access for assistive devices turned on or not.

As said by BalusC, service() method is executed for every incoming request. Based on the HTTP method of the incoming request (either POST or GET), either doPost() or doGet() are invoked.
Also, servlet is multi-threaded, meaning, for every new request a new servlet thread is created to process that request, unless you are implementing SingleThreadModel interface.

Beep when mail check completed is irregular

This is not a major thing, but now that I upgraded to 10.5 the beep when Mail has completed it's check for new mail can come before it is done or shortly after it is done. Previously the beep occurred when it was complete. Now it can beep anytime and still be working on getting mail. The problem also still persists that the beep doesn't work at all if Mail has been open in background for a period of time. Close and restart Mail and the beep comes back.

Watching the activity monitor, I found that there is a lot of synching and other duties other than getting mail and that change in mail is what is making the changed email beep

We are passing the required values to the ATP API.
1) The x_return_status is showing as 'S' i.e. success but x_atp_rec.Requested_Date_Quantity is not returning any value.
2) If there is a grant issue how to identify it.

Zipper Noise when Automating Plugin

Hey,
I was just automating the Flanger-Chorus parameter on the Modulation Delay plugin and I get a strong zipper noise as the control is changing, (while audio is playing of course). It also occurs when I move the control manually, which figures.
Is this normal or is something askew with my system. All else seems fine. Could someone try this real quick on their system?

Glad to know that things are sounding better. Mind you, I'm sure that zipper effect can come in handy somewhere. :-D
I've seen this happen on a couple of my hardware digital delays as well, when I was adjusting the delay time. I would wager a guess that it would take more CPU resources to adjust the sample for this type of effect than it is really worth. For me, at least, I find myself adjust more than the delay. I'll probably go in and adjust the feedback and oscillators as well. By this time, I have a totally new effect. Adding to that, I'll probably want it in a different spot in the effect chain. That's when I figure it's time to instantiate another Modulation Delay.

Can some document make an error when the Search engine is working

Hi everybody, now I'm asking your opinion about this.
I'm install the Sun web Server 7 and work fine, I was thinking that but when I try to make some search I have something like an Internal error. I don't expect that, only want a message like not found or something.
Next we try with the same word, but change to capital letter the first one and walaaaa, the search was successful and the search engine found the documents.
This situation is happening with some words, like "bank", is I search for "bank" I have that message "Internal Error" but if I search this one "Bank" I found in my documents...
I think that maybe It something in the documents, but I don't know what to think now... When I seacrh in the logs when I index the files I only see this, but I don't know kind of error is... and is this has a relation with my situation...

We had a problem a year or so ago similar to this and it turned out that we had documents that contained special control characters and that was tripped up the search engine. The symptoms were similar -- if we searched for certain words, we'd get an error, but other words would return results fine. The reason turned out to be that when we were getting the error the collection of results contained a file that contained a control character.
I see I'm a year late in responding to your problem, but, hey, if someone else comes across this detail, great.

Strange Beep When Shutting Down

Today, when shutting down Windows, I received a strange beep from my MSI Mega 865. I checked the temp, and it's only 48C. Any ideas on what would make it beep when it shuts down?
Note: This noise came as soon as I chose to shut down, and prior to any shut down routines actually running, not towards the end of shutting down.
Might be hyper sensitivity on my part, but any strange noise from this Mega PC is highly disconcerting for me.

You guys are going to think I'm beep happy here , but tonight, when emptying the trash bin, I got another strange beep. The sound is very low, hard to hear, but it is there.
Would my HardDrive firing up / spinning cause some type of system beep? Cause that sucker spun up pretty hard/fast when I emptied the recycle bin.

I've put my phone on silent and when it rings it's silent and doesn't vibrate which is what I want, but when I get a text it makes a beep noise but I want this to be silent too. How can I make it silent? Is there a way to do it without using the DND?

I want my phone to be completely silent. If I flick it on to wilent it doesn't vobrate when it rings which is great and it doesn't vibrate when a message comes through. However, it does beep when a text comes through which I don't want, plus I don't know why it beeps as that isn't my normal text tone anyway. But I just want it to be silent. I'm not too keen to use the DND function if I dont have too.

Go to Settings>Notifications and turn alerts/sounds on for the app(s) in question. Not all apps have all options.
