Make hidden OU visible

Hey guys,
I have a weird problem with a hidden OU. I have to select this OU as target in a third part app (Enterprise Vault). The account which I use for that has the general rights to list and to read everything within the domain and even this special OU.
It is interesting, because I only can see the OU if I tick "Advanced features" in ADUC.
I guess there is a further trigger/attribute which is causing that. I want to make the OU visible without ticking "Advanced features" so that I can hopefully select it in Enterprise Vault.

Hi,
Which 'OU' do you mean? Does it an OU that you created manually? As far as I know, if we use general way to create an OU, we should see it without ticking Advanced Features.
And like System, ForeignSecurityPrincipals are not OUs, they are containers, and we should tick Advanced features to see them.
In addition, if this is an OU that you manually created, how did you hide it, did you follow the below link:

Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and run the following:

Apimac HideFolders malfunctioning--How to make hidden folders visible?

I used Apimac HideFolders to hide some folders on an external hard drive. At present, the folders do not appear in the Finder; but when I open HideFolders to make them visible, they are listed as "Visible." Since the "Show" option is greyed out, I look to see what happens when I click "Hide," and the Status changes from "Visible" to "Missing."
I downloaded PathFinder, and with it I can see that the files are still there on the drive. What can I do to make them visible? Thanks in advance.

As has been mentioned here before, they are incredibly unhelpful. Their website doesn't list a phone number and their "support page" for the app is written by someone whose first language is definitely not English.

Make hidden files visible in Finder

I have a hidden file .VBT5 apparently located in the Time Machine partition of a FW800 connected external drive that is causing problems for Virus Barrier X6. The .VBT5 was created by Virus Barrier X5 and apparently missed during it's uninstall. I used Boot Camped XP to do a search for hidden files named .VBT5 finding one on a FAT32 formatted partition on the same drive but none on the Time Machine partition.
How do I force Finder to display hidden files?

For those that haven't tried terminal commands before , a couple of tips:
After pasting and executing:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool YES
In order to restart Finder and see the change it was necessary to type in and execute:
killall Finder
The change will persist but executing the following commands one after the other will restore Finder to normal.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool NO
killall Finder

How to make all columns visible in an interactive report by default

Hello All,
I have an interactive report with the first column is visible and the rest are hidden by default. Is there any way that i can make them all visible by default so the users do not have to go into actions to display them in report?

Login as developer > run the interactive report > actions > select all columns you want
Now got to actions > save > default > primary > apply

You are not running as administrator, I think, which may be required and the only way to properly work and register. Also check for compatibility mode settings, UAC and DEP, all of which may require to be adjusted for a legacy app like PS CS2 to run properly. Also turn off Aero and switch to a conventional visual theme. The brush issue may be related to that or is a more generic problem with your graphics card and mouse config, but since you didn't provide any info on that, it will be hard for anyone to advise.

Error 1320 when trying to make a caption visible in LV 71

If you try to make a caption visible of a new control via a property node you will get error 1320
(LabVIEW: In edit mode, LabVIEW cannot return a property for a control part that you have not yet created)

I discovered this problem not too long ago.
Follow the discussion here for the whole story.
The work around is to first manually make the Caption visible by right clicking and navigate to Visible Items >>Caption. It seems in 7.1, the Caption is not created until you first turn it on manually.

I am now having to bookmark it to the "bookmark menu" and then manually moving it to the folder I want cause it is not being displayed.

No there is no arrow besides any of the folders (I do not have any sub-folders); I do have a "choose..." option, but that does not work either in showing all of the folders.

How to make the library visible IN AN EXTERNAL disk?

Hello.
Searched this forum (found about 25 identical questions and answers "how to make the library visible").
I turned mine and it is constantly visible now.
Before installing Lion made a bootable image.
When I connect the external HD, I see it in the Finder side bar, click on users>myname and the library folder doesn't show up.
Tried the 3 ways to make it visible but they all bring back and show the Lion's library on my MBP, not the one in the external HD.
Any ideas?
(BTW, I am just an "amateur user", not too heavy, so just, please take in consideration that if you explain to me slowly I will understand quicly)...

Yes, I guess I used the wrong terminology. Anyway, I did a bootable disk/image/clone, however it's called, with CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner), which BTW I am using for at least 3 years and saved several times my behind.
So, if I understood you right, you mean booting from my external HD and make the library visible (I don't remember if the clone was made after installing Lion or still while in Snow L, but will check).
I'll try and update here if it worked.

Show / Hide Elements - how to make hidden elements non-interactive

Hi,
Is there a way to make hidden obejcts (through 'Show / Hide') not only hidden but completely non-interactive? I.e. even if an image is hidden, it is still click-able, which will release its set commandos (such as 'Swap Image' or 'Set Text of Container').

There is no way to activate the company code field. If your Controlling Area and Company Code have one to one Assignment, then Company code is defaulted from the Controlling Area. However, if multiple Company Codes are assigned to one Controlling Area, then Company Code becomes a mandatory field in the Cost Center master data
Also, in case you have multiple company codes assigned to one controlling area, please check the setting of the Controlling Area in Configuration and see if have selected "Cross Company Code Cost Accounting" . Also, check if you have assigned all the company codes to the controlling area

when user clicks on JTable row.Hi, if you would read the documentation about JTable.getValueAt(...) you will find, that there is a significant difference between this method and the datamodels getValueAt(...) method. JTables getValueAt(...) method interprets column-index as index in its TableColumnModel - in your TableColumnModel there is no column any longer that holds ID values, therefore you were not able to get it by JTable.getValueAt(...). Do not use these methods for the purpose you want it for - you will also get the wrong values, if the user has repositioned columns - the column index is always interpreted as index in the currently used TableColumnModel and IS NOT A MODELINDEX.
