Making a row in a report uneditable

Hi,
i have a report with a check box in each row. When the checkbox is ticked and clicking a button
1. i need to update a table and display the updated row
2.but the row must be in a disabled style so that we cannot select the row again.
I did the 1st part.How can we display a row in a disabled style.The process code i am using is given below
FOR i in 1..APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01.count
LOOP
   Update DISCOVERY
set "DISCOVERY_STATUS_ID" = 6
   WHERE "EQUIPMENT_ID" = APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01(i)  ;

I did'nt get you.I have a tree ,wen clicking a node in the tree i will display a report using the code

a button.Then the page process will update a table and display result.The page process is
