Workflow not sending item to sapinbox - Urgent!!!

Dear All,
I m making a simple workflow in which there is a user decision in which user has to approve and disapprove , when it approves or disapproves the mail is sent to the workflow initiator.
Now my problem is that up to sending user decision my workflow is working fine but after making decision it is not send mail to my SAP inbox i have checked the workflow log in that i can see that in the approve mail step (i.e when i approve) it is written No agent Ready, what does it mean , can i assign an agent to my mail step , i have written my SAPLOGON user id as reciptient in the mail step, is there something more i have to add ..
I have checked the SCOT settings , it is correct and working.
Please help me as i m urgent need of this .

I have done the same thing what you are saying i also checked the value of my container elements in that Address String is showing 1 entry i.e my user id
And in Typeid - G.
I choose the expression and entered &_WF_INITIATOR& in my mail step.
But still the same problem is coming the mail is not coming to my inbox, i have checked my the workflow started by me in SBWP from there i have checked the container value also all are coming correct , i have seen the graphical log also in that it is showing in the mail step that no agent ready.
In the basic data of my workflow i have assigned the agent as General task.
Please suggest

  • SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow not sending e-mails

    Hello everyone, it's me again.
    I have a problem with my custom workflow. A simple workflow made in SharePoint Designer 2013 with a "Send Mail" action isn't actually sending any e-mails.
    I am able to send mails with SharePoint 2013 with out-of-the-box workflows or alerts when sharing a page. The simple workflow is: Send Mail to TestUser after a new item has been created. 
    1) SMTP server has been configured and tested successfully, I am able to send mails
    2) The workflow gets "Completed" status even though I didn't actually receive a mail
    3) I double checked User Profiles and the e-mails are correct (I also checked in Active Directory)
    4) The User Profile Sync. Service is running and I even did a full sync
    5) Out of the box workflows are work perfectly fine
    I have no explanation why custom workflows won't send a mail. I can perform other actions like "change workflow status". 
    Any help please?

    Hi Ali,
    Please check if "send mail" action does not work in both SharePoint workflow 2010 platform and SharePoint 2013 platform.
    Please add the actions "log to history" before and after action "send mail" to check if the send mail action is performed.
    And you can also add "pause for a duration" before the "send mail" action, see if it could help.
    You may also check if there are some related ULS log.

  • ERec: Standard workflow not sending mail

    Hi Experts,
    I am experiencing 2 different scenarios in Sandbox and development. In both the systems workflows WS51900008 and WS51900010 are active.
    Now when i try to register a candidate, the workflow gets triggered. But it is not sending any mail. I traced it in SWI1 and it stops at send mail. The log shows that the activity status (of activity 1035) is set as Planned. However in sandbox the activity status is set to completed. Hence in sandbox mail is sent and in development it is not sent.
    Note: The only difference in sandbox and development i could find out is that user WF-Batch is linked to a object type CP. Whereas this is missing in development.
    Can someone please help me in understanding why this difference in behavior?
    The system is on ERECRUIT 617 SP0002.

    First u need to check weather RFC related to WF_BATCH is working or not ?
    GO to SM59, Logical Connections-> Workflow_Local_XXX  . test this  RFC weather it is working or not ?
    Go to TCODE ->SWU3, it is for Configuration of Workflows , check this as well .
    Maintain runtime environment-> Configure RFC Destination .Check Weather there is a Tick Mark OR Wrong Mark .
    Go To SU01, Check weather USER WF-BATCH is not locked .
    User WF-BATCH should have valid Email Address. eg : [email protected] .

  • Workflow not sending email

    We are in the process of upgrading to ECC 5.0.  I have read that many of the SAP email functions require a new COMMIT_WORK parameter to send email, or a COMMIT WORK in the main program.
    We have some functions in table T779X triggered when various infotypes are created or changed.  A few of these functions do a CALL FUNCTION 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.  The workflow is triggered, and the email shows up in my Outbox, but it never gets sent even though I have the COMMIT_WORK parameter set to 'X' in the calling function.
    We have other workflows not triggered directly from table T779X and other programs that call this function successfully to send email.  Has anyone encountered this problem?

    Thank you for your suggestions.  I was aware of SCOT.  I am not sure what values I should be checking for, but our Basis team has used SCOT to set values, and I am receiving emails from other workflows, just not ones triggered directly from table T779X.
    I did not know about SOST.  That is very intersting.  Although I can see my emails in my Outbox, I do not see them in SOST.  I am not sure what that means.
    Other developers have said that I should not be sending email from a workflow triggered directly from T779X, but to use that workflow to raise an event.  Then have a second function waiting for the event, and to send my email from that second function.  I don't like that solution as I don't have the before image and after image like I do in the function triggered directly from T779X.  I'm going to post a message with OSS just to confirm that.

  • Workflow not sending email to first reviewer but sends to everyone else

    I have a criteria workflow that is working fine except for one small problem. The first person in the workflow does not get notified. If they login and approve, the content continues through the workflow and everyone else is notified. I can even reject it all the way back to the original contributor, and then that contributor sends it on to that first person in the workflow and then they get an email. It's just that initial email when the workflow kicks off doesn't go out.
    Nothing showing up in our ECM error logs or email logs. If you look at the workflow info, it says that first person was notified. I've also tried changing who that first person is and what they can/have to do and it makes no difference.
    Any suggestions?

    Is the first person in the Entry Step or the second step of the workflow?

  • Sharepoint 2007 Workflow not sending out task emails.

    Im currently having an issue with our sharpoint 2007 farm. This is currenlty affecting all site collections in the farm.
    I have been troubleshooting this for this without any luck. The workflow get created and the person who created the workflow recieve a notification email indicating that the workflow has been created. The users that the workflow is assigned to however never
    receive an email notification. This was working fine previoulsy.
    1- I have checked the permissions.
    2. Timer service is running.
    3. Email server is up.
    I have checked the event log on the sharepoint server  and I cant find anything conclusive that can help me resolve this issue.
    I would appreciate any advice on this issue.  Thanks in advance.

    Firstly, please check the setting of your task list, make sure that the E-mail Notification feature of the task list is enabled. Tasks-> Settings->Advanced Settings-> E-Mail Notification. Yes should be selected. You may also add a task manually
    to confirm that it works.
    Secondly, please check the outgoing e-mail setting first. You can set alert on a list to check whether SharePoint can communicate with the email server properly.
    Thirdly, you may check the status of your workflow. Just by pointing to the item that is involved in the workflow, click the arrow that appears, and the workflows. If the workflow run failed, you should also check the History List and ULS log.
    Fourthly, you may also restart the Windows SharePoint Services Outgoing Email service to find out the problem. Please open Central Administration -> Operation->Services on Server. Restart the Windows SharePoint Services Outgoing Email service.

  • Workflow not send to third level approval

    hi guys,
    we have 3 level approvals/ release code: RE, BC and A1.
    after RE approves, it will set the agent to BC .
    the problem now, after BC approves, the agent will not be set to A1, can u guys pls advice why only 3rd level approvals did not receive the email/agent notification ..

    Does the rule identify the user correctly? (Does the correct agent display in the release tab in the document screen.) Then role resolution is not the problem.
    Can the user use ME29N or ME28 to release (assuming it is a purchase order and not requisition or some other document)? Then authorization to release is not an issue.
    Have you defined possible agents for the release task that includes the user?

    I am doing sharepoint 2013 workflow for mail sending  using designer.
    I am sending mail when new item created in List.
    Here status is completed, but mail not sending the following error comes
    "The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the e-mail has a valid recipient".
    But i have valid email ID.
    If i am sending mail through C# (Visual Webpart), mail sending properly.

  • WF mailer is not sending mail.

    Hi,
    WF mailer is not sending mail. earlier it was sending email. Nothing change in configuration.
    Select * from WF_NOTIFICATIONS
    mail_status is showing FAILED.
    Earlier password reset was working also.
    Please advice.

    Please mention the details of the application release, database version and OS.
    Please check the workflow log file as well as the database log for any details about the errors.

  • Forwarding document (not work item) from specific SAP workflow to Outlook

    Hi,
    We are looking for ways to forward the email notification of leave approval from SAP inbox to MS Outlook.
    One way I know of is to create Auto forwarding in SAP inbox, however this would forward all documents received regardless of the work flow.
    Would appreciate it if any one out there could share your experience.

    Use program RSWUWFML2.  You can get pretty fancy with it to setup wrapper text.  I have used it a lot so feel free to ping me with any questions.
    What is important to know is normal 'email' forwarding will not send workflow items.  I use this every 15 minutes to forward to Outlook and get the users into the Portal to manage the workflow.

  • Workflow not generating/sending notifications

    Hi guys,
    I've created a workflow to simply send a notification to a user's business workplace when a Purchase Order goods receipt is entered. I have maintained recepient details on the 'notification' tab of the task but it's still not sending the notification.
    However, when I manually run transaction SWUE, the notification is generated and sent.
    Kindly send me suggestions on where I might be doing something wrong or how to solve the problem so that notifications can be sent automatically after goods receipt.

    Thanks. I've checked SWI1. It doesnt generate any list when I enter a goods receipt which is supposed to trigger the workflow.
    But when I run SWUE, it generates the work items and they all have status 'completed'.
    Is there something I haven't done?

  • SharePoint 2010: Scheduled Web Analytics Reports workflow is not sending ANY email

    I've a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise farm. I setup a Scheduled Web Analytics Reports workflow in a site collection with different web analytics reports options checked. So far I've not got ANY email. When I went to Site Workflows, I'm seeing that the workflow
    is running. When I click on Completed status, I see below outcome in the Workflow History section:
    "Email sent but reports with no data were not attached."
    And I see below information in the Workflow History list:
    "Attached are the daily Web Analytics reports for 1/7/2015 through 1/7/2015 for SharePoint Site Collection
    http://server/team/site scheduled by workflow "SharePoint Site Web Analytics Reports". "
    I am able to generate the reports manually by going to Site Collection Web Analytics Reports, but I want to schedule them. The problem is I'm not getting ANY email in my inbox. What am I missing here? Are the emails getting filtered by Outlook or workflow
    is not sending emails at all?
    Please help! This is getting frustrated.

    Hi Ashish,
    Based on your description, my understanding is that the email is not sent from the Scheduled Web Analytics Reports workflow.
    I recommend to the things below:
    1. Check if the Outgoing email has been configured for the web application where you run the Scheduled Web Analytics Reports workflow.
    In Central Administration > Application management > Manage web applications > select the corresponding web application > click General Settings in the ribbon and select Outgoing E-mail.
    2. Make sure that your account has email address configured.

  • Why an email address not show in the Bcc field in Send Items folder?

    Hi,
    My user use Office 2007 and Exchange 2008. She sent an email which Bcced to 4 people for example A, B, C and D. However when she opens this email in her Send Items folder within Outlook, it only shows A, B and C in the Bcc field, but if she opens this email
    in OWA, she can see 4 people in the Bcc field. It is the exact the same email. Outlook is in online mode (not cashed mode). I don't understand what could be the problem. Why D isn't shown in the Bcc field within Outlook?

    Hi,
    Since it's a Client-only issue, we can try starting Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if it's 3rd-party add-ins related:
    Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
    If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.
    I suppose the recipient D is not listed in the mail Filter lists?

    You can also test if this problem exists when you switch to Exchange Cached mode.

  • Workflow : Could not send e-mail [10014 : email ...

    hi,
    i am trying to send email notification via workflow, but i am not able to do so. anyone can help to troubleshoot this?
    below are the steps i have carried out for email configuration:
    1. i have added the mail server on mds.ini, MDS is restarted after every changes.
    2. requester and approval has correct email setup at console.
    3. a notification is added in workflow.
    4. telnet ping to mail server with port 25 is fine.
    when i check the log, i have the error :
    "Could not send e-mail [10013 : email : Notify] [Mail server:xxxxxxxxx] [From address:xxxxxxxx] [To address:xxxxxxx
    i know the guidelines and steps for configurations, but apparently it does not workout, so any troubleshoot guideline will be more appreciated.

    Hi Shanti,
    I am sure you must have checked all this but then again would you please check following things and let us know ?
    1) Please check the SMTP Server Name in your Outlook Express if you are using Outlook
    2) Please log into MDS file and go under that particular Repositoy and check what details you have given for Mail Server
    3) Please give SMTP address in mail server line
    4) Log into Console and check if you have alligned Users and Roles to each other correctly or not.
    5) log into Data Manager and open the workflow and check the properties of Mail notification stencil and check if correct proertise are set ot not.
    Once you have made the changes at server level please restart the server again and then please let us know if this problem exist or not, may be we can more troubleshoot it further.
