Manipulating 3d virtual objects as a control interface.

The graphics used at ButtonRing.com need to be upgraded to a 3D java object of three skinnable concentric rings with a crystal ball in the center. Rotating the rings by cursor dragging should have configurable effects.
Can anybody help with this?

tst's suggestion for identifying the decoration with a tag is a good one. I was going to suggest this, along with using the TRef Traverse for References.vi found in vi.lib\utility\traverseref.llb. I'm pretty sure this LLB is present in LabVIEW 8.0 and later. With this VI, you can simply traverse the front panel for items of the "Text" class, then iterate over the results to see which one matches the tag you set. Traversing automatically looks inside nested objects, so you can avoid the task of having to go look "inside" the tab control.
All that being said, if I were writing an app like this, I probably would have started off using a transparent string indicator.

If the interface won't link Up, then it is likely a cabling problem.
Even with a bad configuration on the AIP you should at least get link UP if your cabling is correct, so I don't think configuration is your problem here.
If I remember right the command and control interface of the SSM is a 10/100 TX interface. When connecting from a laptop directly to the command and control interface it would require a cross over cable rather than the normal straight through cable.
If you don't have a cross over cable, then try connecting the SSM to a switch and see if the SSM will link UP. The switch is designed to internally do the cross over.

BadRequest: Virtual machines with secondary network interfaces and virtual machines with no secondary network

I'm trying to create an "ExtraLarge" VM with multiple NICs. The New-AzureVM returns the following error:
BadRequest: Virtual machines with secondary network interfaces and virtual machines with no secondary network
interfaces are not supported in the same deployment, also a virtual machine having no secondary network interfaces
cannot be updated to have secondary network interfaces and vice-versa.
But I have no other VMs. Or at least I did and then deleted them and all their disks. The service has no deployments (either staging or production).
Why is New-AzureVM complaining about a mismatch of VMs with and without secondary network interfaces when no other VMs exist?
I have tried many things to fix this, including the deletion of ALL of my resources. I have deleted and created the service many times, both with an affinity group and without. I have a screen print of the -debug output if your interested.

Access to ResultList objects from Labview user interface

Hi!
I would like to have access to TS Locals.ResultList[] objects from user interface (LV) after test report is generated.
According to TS Help in this point I can get sequence context for the process model sequence file which posts UIMsg_ModelState_PostProcessingComplete message.
But objects of my interest are located in context of client sequence file.
Can I get access to Locals.ResultList objects with use provided model file context?
Are there another ways to get wanted data?
I have references to sequence file and execution in this point and tried to use Execution.RunTimeVariables property.
But could not get wanted data with any supposed lookup string from this object.

The general idea is the following:
You have to keep in mind that Locals.ResultList on the model level (callstack) is simply the return value of a sequence call step (MainSequence). Therefore, you will only have this single entry [0].
To get access to the results of the steps inside you MainSequence (and any other sublevel in the callstack), you have to dig into this callstack using this "root-property":
Locals.ResultList[0].TS.SequenceCall.ResultList

3 Levels Master Detail View Object with Java class interface

I've created 3 tables with one to many relations as below
BOARD ------<- APPLICANT ------<- QUALIFICATION
a board includes many applicants and an applicant includes many qualifications.
When I add these tables to a Fusion Project, JDeveloper 11g helps me to add the Entity Links and View Associations automatically.
Then, I defined these relations in an ApplicantModule's Data Model as below.

I created a simple function with a single line (System.out.println(...) ) in QualificationVOImpl.java. and selected it in Client Interface. But when I execute it from the ApplicantionModel for testing, an oracle.jbo.NoObjException JBO-25003 is raised. with message: Object ... ApplicantVO1 of type ApplicationModule not found.
Has anyone tried to implement some coding in the third level of a master details view structure as my example? How do you make it works?
I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3 with ADF BC.

Looks like a bug (probably with the application module tester). I created your tables:

Frank - the method is indeed exposed on the VO instance, and I tried testing that way, but the AM tester gives the error as if it is looking for an AM instance with the VO's name.

The way stateful Web services are currently handled is through the use of cookies ... once your stub invokes a stateful Web service a cookie is created which routes subseqent requests back to the Web service.
In your scenario, the problem is given one client has creates Web service 1 and now Web service 2 would like to be able to use that state it really isn't possible unless you engineer a solution yourself ... you would need so somehow set the cookie on your Web service 2 client to that of the original client to Web service 1. State tends to be based around an individual client versus multiple clients for that state.
There are numerous ways around this but you would be engineering around the issue ... the easiest is to write the state out somewhere so that it can be shared.

Lastly be aware there is a bug with timeouts in stateful Web services in Oracle9iAS 9.0.3 that has been fixed in 9.0.4. I can't find the thread here that documents it but when I track it down I will post the link so you can see the workaround.

How to include a large amount of objects in a package interface

I would like to include a large amount of objects (programs, classes, etc.) in a package interface in the package builder (SE21).
I would like to avoid inserting them one by one. Is anyone have a solution? It is not possible to use such characters has " * ". There is no documentation or help provided for this issue.

I created a new package in which I created an interface to include various objects from others packages (standard and customer specific). I want to make these objects visible into my new package.
Since I have a high quantity of objects to include in my interface, I would have like to know if there was a simple way to do this task rather than entering the name one by one in SE21.

I am building a Hyper-V Failover Cluster. I have created a team (two physical nics) which I plan to only use for Cluster Communication, Heartbeat and Live Migration.
I have following questions:
1. How to create virtual NICs out of this teamed interface and assign them to respective networks?
2. Do Cluster Communication, Heartbeat and Live Migration Networks have to be on different subnet or they can be part of the same subnet as well?
3. In both cases that is same subnet or different subnet, how would networks be assigned?

Iws6sp3 Configuring virtual server administrator�s user interface

Hi I am trying to configure my virtual server admininstrator interface. I followed the admin guide iws60 816-1379-01 May 2001, Chapter 13 "Using Virtual Servers" page 307. I followed all the steps however when I go to my browser, what should I type in for the URL?
Example given:

thanks for your reply! Pilot Extended Listener; Pilot Listener; WWW and JBOSS are running and I started Pilot Extended Listener before Jboss, but it doesn't work.
It tries to open http://localhost/pilot/scriptmain.pw?userinfo=/pilot/pipadmin/adminstart4.htm but there isn't a file "scriptmain.pw" in the pilot directory, only the file "scriptmain.pip". Maybe it is missing?!

Manipulation of LongRaw objects.

Hi all!
I have an application in which I am using OLE Container item
to embed employees photographs into the Oracle table. The field
is defined as a LONG RAW. I wanted to fetch the photograph of
the employee based on the employee number entered by the user.
One way is to make a base table form and use execute_query built
in. This works. But I require a control block and need to get
the Long Raw field into a variable and then assign it to the
forms bind variable. How to go about it??

So I have implemented a function that computes a new RenderTransformOrigin (RTO) for each object in a group. The new RTOs are computed around the center of the group of objects. Then transforms are applied in a loop and the objects will rotate as a group
around the common center. It's great!
However, if the object is scaled, then when the new RTO is applied, the object shifts. I have not been able to discover the mathematical relationship so I have not been able to compensate for this. Consider the following XAML:

Mozilla Firefox 32.0.1 caching objects without cache control headers

Mozilla firefox is caching objects without any cache-control or expires header in response. The response does contain etag and date header but doesnt indicate anything about the duration it should be caching it. That is a beautiful picture. I understand that you are looking for a return header information about expiration. The about:cache page will show that information akaik there is a column information about expiration time. Some expire and some don't. I am pretty sure the later is the case you are seeing.

ABAP Objects: Problems with controls in splitter container

I have problems with the second control in a splitter container.
In the left container I build up a <u>list tree</u>.
On double click on a node a <u>column tree</u> in the right container is created.
This is working fine.
But if I double click on another node in the left container the right tree remains unchanged.
What do I have to do to update/refresh the tree in the right splitter container.

I now destroy the right container and the right tree control if it exists after the event 'double_click' on a node in the left tree.
The result is now that the container is created (I can see it on screen) but no tree is shown.
If I just destroy the tree control but not the container the tree from the first double click on the left tree is shown.
In the debugger I see that the list tree instance is linked to the caontainer (after first and second creation of tree control)
Maybe you can see in the coding below what's wrong or missing.
