Hi All,
Is there a way to map attributes of one resource to another?
If so let me know how it can be done?

View Mapping Result between two Interface Mappings in ccBPM
Hello,
I've got a ccBPM which does two interface mappings. The second one fails. When I redo the steps manually in the Interface Mapping test mode everything works fine. Anyway, I want to get the message from the failed BPM that got out of the first interface mapping, which worked fine in the BPM as well, before entering the second.
Where can I get that message? In Monitoring I can only find messages that got sent.
Thanks for you help!
Regards,
DirkHi,
Please check in Runtime Workbench.
Go to Adapter Engine --> Component Monitoring
Now select your Adapter.
Use Filter and below you will find message ids.
select one and you can see the audit log..where your appln fails.
You can also use SXMB_MONI.
Select the message giving error and in that goto outbound tab..click on link...select view details image button...select the component with error and go to container tab of it....there you will find trace entry....where log of your error will be stored..
Hope it helps.
Best Of Luck

its only a target user for the workspace where you are deploying the mapping from.
I have two repositories for two different projects. each repositary has its own workspace.
ex:-
Project 1
Work space bpms_rep_owner
Repositary owner bpms_rep_owner
Repositary user bpms_rep_user
Project 2
Work space dem_rep_owner
Repositary owner dem_rep_owner
Repositary user dem_rep_user

How to draw a line on ADF page between two nodes for mapping.
Hi everyone,
Does anyone have a solution that how can I wiring two points by drawing a line on ADF pages.
My scenario is user want to do a mapping between two xml files. We will build an ADF faces page. This page have two parts, left part contains one tree(base on the source xml), right part is the destination tree(target xml). User can drag an node from left and drop to right. Meantime, a line will be created to connect two node, it would be perfect that when user scroll down the page, or extend the tree node, the line between source and target will be remain connection two node.
Does anyone have a solution for this, thanks in advance.

Google maps "get directions" between two points stopped working in firefox
When using google maps to find directions between two points "Get Directions" it will just sit there loading... never finishing and showing the routes between the locations.
This used to work fine about a month ago. I have not done anything, expect update Firefox.I can still get the basic directions to work in Google Maps, but recently the 3D driving directions has stopped working, and I'm pretty sure it stopped just about one Firefox update back. I realize this function is gravy to many people - a toy - but for someone who uses visual cues it has been extremely useful for imprinting the information in my mind, familiarizing myself with the route ahead of the drive. When I am traveling without a 'navigator' - a passenger who can read the directions as I drive - this is a huge help. Today I got a message about updating the GoogleEarth plugin, which I did - twice! Still no 3d directions, though suddenly the GG 3d driving simulator works. This has to be a FF problem :-(

Find intersection/union between two maps
Hello.
I'm trying to find out state changes between two maps.
I have two maps A and B, what I need to do is to find keys in A that doesn't exists in B and keys in B that doesn't exist in A.
If keys exists in both A and B I want to compare the values of those keys.
What would be the most effective way to implement this.
My first plan was to loop through the keys in A to find in B and loop through keys in B and find in A but I guess there is a more effective algorithm.
I'm also thinking about using java.util.Collections to find intersection/union between the keys in the maps but then I need to do a lookup in both
maps.
Any suggestions?

My scenario is this:
I'm writing a Swing app for administration of a clustered environment.
The keys in the map contains ip-address of cluster nodes, the value is a status/state for a node in the cluster.
I want to signal state change for the node in the GUI.
A state change happens if there is a new node in the cluster which means a new entry in the map since last checked or if a node
leaves the cluster a remove of entry in the map since last checked or if the status/state for the entry/ip has changed since last checked.
Regards
/FredrikBy your above senario, i don't think you have two objects of Map, there is only one object and you want to signal the change in GUI, whenever a object is added , removed or only value is changed (Key is same) to the Map.
Then i'll suggest below things:
1) to override hashcode and equal method. (Because whenever the put or putAll methods are called the hashcode and equal method checks in the bucket for equal and similar hashcode, and if its equal , then change the GUI for the existing Map).
2) As suggested earlier, override remove methods. (Whenever any object is removed, accordingly you can change the GUI).
3) As suggested earlier, override put and putAll method( whenever a new object is added, accordingly you can change the GUI).
And for this, i don't think you have iterate through the Map. -
Problem mapping a 1:M relationship between two entity EJBs w/ a compound PK
I am having trouble trying to implement a 1:M relationship in OC4J 9.0.3 between two EJB2.0 entity beans using an EJBQL query. I have an ApplicantEJB, which contains a collection of phone numbers. The applicant table in the database has one primary key, applicant_id. The applicant_phones database table has a compound primary key--applicant_id and phone_type_id--so I have implemented a custom PK class to represent this, PhonePK. I have implemented a findByNameAndPhone method in my ejb-jar.xml file with the following syntax:
SELECT object(a) FROM applicants a, applicant_phones p where a.applicantID = p.applicantID and a.name = ?1 and p.phoneNumber = ?2
If I deploy this, Orion/OC4J translates the query in the orion-ejb-jar.xml with an incorrect reference to the applicant_phones.applicant_id column:
SELECT a.applicant_id FROM applicants a , applicant_phones p WHERE ((a.applicant_id = p.applicantID ) AND (a.name = ?) AND (p.phone_number = ? ))
I must have something wrong with my ApplicantEJB and PhoneEJB primary key mappings in my orion-ejb-jar.xml file, but I have tried many different combinations of values and keep getting them overwritten by the container with each deployment. Why is Orion/OC4J defaulting the applicant_id reference Long postings are being truncated to ~1 kB at this time.Sure. Here's the <entity-deployment> for my applicant entity:
<entity-deployment name="ApplicantEntityEJB" location="ApplicantEntityEJB" table="applicants" data-source="java:/OracleDS">

Directions between two or more points on the map
Anyone knows of an app for OSX and iOS where one can get directions between two or three or more points. (not a point and current location). In particular an app where one could create a multi-stop trip on OSX and then push it on to an iOS device where it would work as a map and as a navigator?
Tip: Apple Maps apps can't do this. They only allows one pin on the map and directions form current location to the map. Which is utterly useless for trip planning. And yes I know I can use Google Maps for that. But I want to stay away from Google.
Thank you all for your input.you can get directions between two points neither of which is your location on the current ipad app. steps:
launch the app
drop a pin on one of the points
click on the right side of the baloon that opens over the pin
select directions to or from the location
a pane opens on the left side of the app
click into the start or end field that has "current location"
type in your desired start/end point and select the correct location from the drop down list that populates as you type
click on "route"
your route options will appear between the two points -
Share DC resources between two SCs

Edited by: Venkata Siva Prasad Kothamasu on Sep 23, 2009 6:47 PMHi,
Sharing DCS between two SCS is perfectly possible.
In my Project, i have separate SC for UI components and separate SC for Util Components. and this Util components are refenced by UI.
please follow these steps\:
1. Switch to NWDI--> Select SC2 --> in the component properties, go to dependencies Tab --> click Add button --> in the pop up select the SC1 and click finish.
2. Select the DC1 in SC1 and in the component properties , select permissions --> click ADD button and select the SC1 and SC2.
3. then again SYN the DCs and now add the Public Part PP in DC1(SC1) to DC2 of SC2.
Thanks and Regards -

Your tunnel is up and encrypting traffic one way, the other end is not able to encrypt the traffic.
I would suggest to do a 'clear xlate'? Sometimes if you setup the nonat configuration after you've attempted other configurations, you need to 'clear xlate' before the previous NAT configuration is cleared and the new one works.

How to use a context between two components at the runtime
Hi Experts,
My Web dynpro component is over the Generation limit (size of generated load is > 2 MB) so it always gets Warning when I active it. That why I have separated my application into two components and use the ViewContainerUIElement in order to show views of each other.
In the application, I use also the TimeTrigger to refresh pages, all views have a TimeTrigger and the DELAY property of TimeTriggers is bounden into the same context attribute. I use a component to set up (change) the value of context attribute that is mapped with the Delay property. I want to change the Delay value on a component and other component will understand the changing.
My problem is how I can use the same context attribute between components at the runtime?
Let give me your advice on this.
Many thanks,
KenHi Ken,
You can use [external context mapping|https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-27901] to share data between two or more components using context.
Thanks,

Can Partial Trigger Work between Two Components Which Are in Two Pages?
Scenario: Some output text components in page one while a SelectOneChoice and a InlineFrame are in page two. At first the resource attribute of inlineFrame was set to point to page one. When changing the value of SelectOneChoice, the values of those output text will be expected to change accordingly. I tried to make SelectOneChoice to be the trigger of those output text components, but found that SelectOneChoice can't be seen when attempt to edit the value of PartialTrigger attribute of those output text components. Then I tried to set the ID of SelectOneChoice as the value of the InlineFrame component, but failed getting the wanted result again.
Problem: How to get a partial refreshing effect between two components that are in two different pages? Can partial trigger work in this scenario?
Thanks for your interest!Hi,
Sorry, you can't achieve that the way you're doing it. If you're using 11g, however, you could do that using regions.

Reconcile Between two Database Tables
Hello All,
I have two resource adapters configured. Each for a seperate table in a database. I loaded accounts from one table, and used the the persons full name as the account ID. This makes it easy to see who is represented in the accounts page. I am now trying to bring in some data stored in a second table. I added a correlation rule, in an attempt to associate entries in the table based on a unique id. The id is being stored in IDM as an attribute called uouuid. It is in the second table as a field named uuid. I have created a correlation rule as follows:
<cond>
<ref>account.uouuid</ref>
<list>
<new class='com.waveset.object.AttributeCondition'>
<s>UUID</s>
<s>equals</s>
<ref>account.uouuid</ref>
</new>
</list>
</cond>I configured the reconciliation policy to use the new rule, and when I reconcile on the new table, all of the entries show up as UNMATCHED. Is there something I am doing wrong? It seems like this should be matching the data... Does anyone have any advice or can they show me where I am going wrong?Hi There JimBeard e.o.,
I'm having sort of the same issue you had, but really don't know how to solve it.
Probably the biggest cause for this is my complete lack of knowledge regarding java.
Let me explain what i'm trying to achieve:
- I've a mysql database with in one table (users) my user_id and extra fields like e_mail, password and domain_id, etc
- In the same database there's another table (domains) with the domain_id and a field domain_name.
- I want to use this database as my "source user database", if something changes in this database it should also change in IDM.
- The imported users in IDM from this source should have attributes like email, domain_name and some others (sometimes concatenated fields as well) so, this is where my main issue lays now: the value of domain_name should be "mapped?" to the users attribute domain_id.
- When the above all works i want to push the users including attributes (or some of them) from IDM to external ldap databases, getting them in sync and have all the advantages of using IDM.
What i accomplished so far by reading the (huge!) administration manual of IDM:
- I've got both database tables defined as resources
- I've managed to map attributes on a per-table basis in the schema (so for the users table i've got e_mail, password, domain_id & for the domains table i've got domain_id and domain_name)
- All users are imported in IDM, by using the "import from resource" feature (including the mapped attributes from the users table/resource).
- figured out how to write my own (uhh.. copy /paste and adjust ;)) correlation rules and howto upload them (but where to find any GOOD documentation about this?!).
I've searched and read up through most of the topics in this forum but none really gives me enough information to accomplish my wishes (could be me not understanding of course ;))
All in all.. i've spend hours on this and now hoping someone can give me a clear (step by step) handout. Preferrable by using the web-gui, but when needed i will dive into the java /xml.
Thanks in advance and please ask when something is unclear in my (kinda long) story.
Regards,
Joost
