MAPPING: Increment counter while creating destination structures
Hello,
i have the following source and destination structure:
<src_struct> (0-n)
<qualifier>
<value>
</src_struct>
<dest_struct> (0-n)
<counter>
<qualifier>
<value>
</src_struct>
only those dest structures have to be created where <qualifier="XX">.
Thus my mapping on structure level looks like:
if <qualifier> equalS "XX" createIf --> <dest_struct>
This works fine.
But additionally i need to increment <counter> in the dest_struct. I.e., when i have 10 src_struct where 5 of them has <qualifier="XX"> i need 5 dest_struct with counter 1 to 5.
I tried this with a UDF which has just a constant as input:
"MY_COUNTER" --> UDF:getNextCounter --> <counter>
This argument is the name under which the last counter was saved in the global container. My expectation was that for each time the field <counter> will be created, my UDF reads the las counter, increments it, saves it back to the container and returns the result.
but the bahavior is different:
For example:
if src_structures 6-10 have <qualifier>="XX" my UFD returns 6-10 in sequnce instead
of 1-5. The shows me, that my UDF runs 10 times even though just 5 dest_struct are created.
What do i wrong?
Her my UDF:
GlobalContainer gc = container.getGlobalContainer();
String counter = new String();
counter = (String) gc.getParameter(MY_COUNTER);
if(counter==null) {
counter = "1";
gc.setParameter(MY_COUNTER,counter);
return(counter);
Integer i_counter = new Integer(counter);
int i = i_counter.intValue() + 1;
Integer I = new Integer(i);
counter = I.toString();
gc.setParameter(ID_TYPE,counter);
return(counter);
Hi,
Why dont you take qualifier as another argument (say b) for the same UDF.
so that you can check the value of the qualifier and run the logic as you needed.
as below,
if (b.equals("XX"))
GlobalContainer gc = container.getGlobalContainer();
String counter = new String();
counter = (String) gc.getParameter(MY_COUNTER);
if(counter==null) {
counter = "1";
gc.setParameter(MY_COUNTER,counter);
return(counter);
Integer i_counter = new Integer(counter);
int i = i_counter.intValue() + 1;
Integer I = new Integer(i);
counter = I.toString();
gc.setParameter(ID_TYPE,counter);
return(counter);
Let me know if its not working.
Hope this helps.
Prasad Babu.

i am getting the status warning message as the below
'field name does not agree with the proposed name base_bom for bapi table'
2)
and more over can we create the structure as the follwing in se11.
component = f1 and
component type = tablename-fieldname
when i am doing in the second way i am getting the error as the following table is not active though the table is activehi guru,
just component name as --- your field name.
where as component type as give just data element k.

Error while creating Org structure Message no. BBP_LOCATION009
Hi
Iam trying to build an SRM6.0 with backend as R/3 4.7
I have replicated the plats from back end with report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM
On errors rectified the same and finally, SLG1 report shows no errors.
But still noticed that T77S0 table entry with GPID=EBP, SEMID= LMIGR is not set to X (Refer note 563180)
Due to the above problem while creating org structure when I click on Att inheritence or Extended attributes Locations tab,
I get the message:
Start program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL first (see Note 563180 and long text)
Message no. BBP_LOCATION009
Diagnosis
You tried to call a program that uses a location. The locations have not
yet been replicated.
System Response
The current program has been terminated.
Procedure
Start the program to replicate the locations. You can find more
information in SAPNet in Note .
Procedure for System Administration
You can disable this message by starting table maintenance (SM30) for
table T77S0. Change the entry EBP/LMIGR to "X". Note that the system
cannot supply certain information if the locations are not replicated.
Locations that do not exist can be deleted during attribute maintenance.are you working with multiple backend systems?
can you retry downloading the plants with the report
BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL
and then give the logical sys name as yr present backend?

Error message while creating a structure
Hello Friends
I am trying to create a simple structure using Tr.Code.SE11.
In the second TAB Components
I have entered the following info
Component = BUSINESS_PARTNER
Component Type = KUNN2
Short Description Column automatically got filled up with "Customer number of business partner"
When I try to save it doesn't let me save but give a message at the bottom saying
"Field name BUSINESS_PARTNER does not agree with proposed name CUST_NO for BAPI table".
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to correct it. Your feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ram

Error while creating Org Structure
Hi,
Im creating an Organization structure,where 2 Org units/positions report to 1 top Org Unit/Position.When i create the relation between one Org unit and sub Org Unit it is saved correctly.But if im trying to create a relation between another sub Orgunit and same top Org unit it is showing an error as Overlapping of the records.Do u want to save.This way im able to save relation between only one Org Unit to Sub Org Unit.
But i want 2 Org Units reports to the same 1 Org Unit.The relation i have maintained in A002.
Why is such error coming.Pls guide.
RegardsHi,
You should check the time constraint of relation A002:
Goto transaction OOVK >> mark the entry for relation 002 >> click on "Time constraints" >> search for the record of Infotype 1001 of A002 for object type O and change it to 3.
However, you are trying to assign a subordinate organization unit to more the one org unit. This is not recommended. Each org. unit needs to be assigned to one org. unit as it's 'parent'. You shall reconsider.

Meaning of "Map To Identifier " while creating an External Content Type
In SharePoint 2010 Desginer, I created an External Content Type that retrieves data from a VIEW in SQL Server. In the wizard, I see "Map To Identifier." What is the purpose of that. I want to understand the meaning of Map To Identifier? Thank you.
MayankHi Mayank,
When we create database-based external content type, we could map the data source element to an identifier of the related external content type as input to the association.
In the Data Source Elements pane on the left side, select the data source element in the list. In the
Properties pane on the right side, select the Map to Identifier check box. In the
Identifier list, select the appropriate identifier.
The database object name is referred to as its identifier. An object identifier is created when the object is defined. The identifier is then used to reference the object.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-IN/library/ms175874.aspx
We map the field of the external content type to the identifier of the external content type.

Thankshi,
You are getting these warnings because you have not assigned an enhancement category to your structure .
Try to assign a enhancement category for the structure .
1. open the structure in change mode .
2. then Extras -> Enhancement Category and choose an enhancement option .
3. save and activat ethe structure .
4. Your structure wil be activated now without any warnings .

KishoreHi,
In the HTTP Receiver what is the Addressing Type used ? (URL Address or HTTP Destination).
If its URL Addressing Type, check if right Authentication Type is used with valid values and for HTTP Addressing Type check this HTTP Client Create Error, it could be helpful.
Also check if the Target system can be reached from the XI server to validate the configuration parameters.

Error while creating the Organization structure.
Hi,
I am trying to create an Organization structure in SRM 5 sytem, I have created a Root for the structure and when i try to click on the Attribute Inheritance or the Check tab below i am getting an error "Start program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL first (see note 563180 and long text)" but i have replicated one plant from the R/3 system using BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED and the material groups and all the other relevant datas from R/3. I can see in the table BBP_LOCMAP the plant been associated with the relevant company code. I am now struck in creating the organization structure. I am not sure where i am going wrong while creating the Org model.Please give me your valuable inputs to overcome this error.
