Mapping issue in FIle to IDoc

Hello friends,
In file to IDoc scenario,
Source structure is
1: header
   n: itemdetails
For Item details, IDoc structure has got 2 sub segments under E1EDP01 segment. as below.
E1EDP01
--E1EDP02
--E1EDP26
When I try to post message with multiple line items, I am getting  as below
E1EDP01
--E1EDP02
--E1EDP02
--E1EDP26
--E1EDP26
E1EDP01(no sub sement).
But the expected result is  as below.
E1EDP01
--E1EDP02
--E1EDP26
E1EDP01
--E1EDP02
--E1EDP26
Please help me in this regard.
Many thanks
Sam

Hi,
just put a split by value in the mappings for E1EDP02 and E1EDP26:
field1>Split By Value\[Each Value\]>E1EDP02
field2>Split By Value\[Each Value\]>E1EDP26
Reward points if helpful.

  • Lookup issue for File to Idoc scenario-- Urgent Pls.

    Hi All,
    Iam doing File to IDoc scenario with one file --> any of 3 R/3 systems.
    Routing has to be done dynamically using a lookup file, based on the incoming GLN code and last character of the Order Reference number.
    The last character of the Order ref Num will have A,B or C.
    Where,  ' A'  for  R/3 152 Client
                 ' B' for  R/3 142 Client
                 'C'  for  R/3  132 Client.
    1. PlantGLN_Routing lookup file :
    DestinationSystem,   Plant GLNCode,       Partner Number,
    A,                            5000243000473,         GDKDVRC152,
    B,                            5000243000473,         GDKDVRC142,
    C,                            5000243000473,         GDKDVRC132,
    A                                 500034000487           GDKDVRC152,
    B                                 500034000487           GDKDVRC142,
    C                                 500034000487           GDKDVRC132,
    By Using DestinationSystem and Plant GLN Code as lookup key --> I need to get the value of partner system.
    2.  IdocCtrlLookup
    Purpose: To read the IdocCtrlLookup file to populate the Idoc control segment
    Now based on the partner system from previous table --> I need to get the details of Sender Port , Sender Partner Type , Sender Partner Function , Sender Partner Number , Rx Port , Rx Partner Type , Rx Partner Function , Rx Partner Number.
    Please help me how can acheive this scenario with the help of lookups.
    Its very urgent.
    Regards
    Krupakar.

    HI,
    Here you would have to use one mapping for dynamic routing , based on this create IM and use it in receiver determination.
    the another mapping is general to file to idoc.
    see the dynamic routing link here
    Dynamic Configuration of Some Communication Channel Parameters using Message Mapping -
    /people/william.li/blog/2006/04/18/dynamic-configuration-of-some-communication-channel-parameters-using-message-mapping
    Also if you know the field name the context object can be defined for partner no that can be used in receiver determination in condition. to particular partner no in receiver determination.

  • Mapping Requirement for File to IDOC

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement related to Mapping and need your help on this. There is a financial posting Interface and the data is being fetched from database using strored procedure.
    The source file is having structure like as shown below
    <FIExport>
        <resultset>
             <row>
               <headerid>12345</header id>
                <field2>5</field2>
               <field3>1</field3>
               <field4>29</field4>
               <field5>3</field5>
              </row>
             <row>
               <headerid>12345</header id>
                <field2>5</field2>
               <field3>1</field3>
               <field4>48</field4>
               <field5>3</field5>
              </row>
             <row>
               <headerid>12345</header id>
                <field2>5</field2>
               <field3>1</field3>
               </field4>
               <field5>3</field5>
              </row>
              <row>
               <headerid>12346</header id>
                <field2>5</field2>
               <field3>1</field3>
               <field4>2</field4>
               <field5>3</field5>
              </row>
             <row>
               <headerid>12347</header id>
                <field2>5</field2>
               <field3>1</field3>
               <field4>2</field4>
               <field5>3</field5>
              </row>
          </resultset>
        </FIExport>
    Condition:
    For creating target structure follwoing conditions are required
    1) IDOC at receiver side will be created as per unique header id  therefore in the current source structure 3 Idocs will be created for 3 unique header id like 12345 , 12346 , 12347
    2) Target EIFISEG which is line item will be created based on per row per unique header id under each IDOC and there has to be 2 SEGMENTS (2A & 2B ) per row based on the VAT amount presence and also two additional E1FISEG has to be created statically per idoc for BSCHL = 34
    so for the above source structure the target should have number of EIFISEG as follows:
    As there are 3 rows for header id 12345, therefore under IDOC1 the number of EIFISEG will be
    since VAT Amount(field 4) is present therefore for 2rows of 12345 header id IDOC it will generate 2X2=4 , E1FISEG segments (each for 2A & 2B) and 1 E1FISEG for 3 row of header id IDOC 12345.
    In addition to this 2 additional segment will be created for BSCHL=34( it's duplicate segment of E1FISEG, so no issues in this)
    Total number of E1FISEG segments in IDOC for header id(12345) will be = 4 + 1 + 2 = 7 segments
    Similarly for IDOC  with header id (12346) the total number of EIFISEG will be = 2( 2A & 2B as vat amount (field 4) is present + 2(bschl =34) = 4 segments
    Similarly for IDOC with header id(12347) the total number of E1FISEG will be = 2( 2A & 2B as vat amount (field 4) is present + 2(bschl =34) = 4 segments
    So the target strcuture should look like:
    Target Structure
    IDOC1 for header id= 12345
        E1FIKPF
            field 1
              E1FISEG1
                field 2
              E1FISEG2
                field 2
              E1FISEG3
                field 2
              E1FISEG4
                 field 2
              E1FISEG5
                 field 2
              E1FISEG6
                  field 2
              E1FISEG7
                  field 2
    IDOC1 for header id= 12346
        E1FIKPF
            field 1
              E1FISEG1
                field 2
              E1FISEG2
                field 2
              E1FISEG3
                field 2
              E1FISEG4
                 field 2
    IDOC1 for header id= 12347
        E1FIKPF
            field 1
              E1FISEG1
                field 2
              E1FISEG2
                field 2
              E1FISEG3
                field 2
              E1FISEG4
                 field 2
    Please help me to complete this mapping requirement as it seems to be complex.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,
    There was one typo mistake, the TARGET structure will be

  • Mapping issue in jdbc to idoc scenario

    Hi
    we have a  jdbc to idoc scenario , we need to repeat the segment given below which has only two fields FLDGRP  and FLDVAL,
    both filed_Group and fieldgroup1 is coming simultaneously . when field group =BATCH, batch=FLDVAL and fieldgroup1=CUST cust_code=FLDVAL
    mapping is as follows :
    E1WXX01 (segment name) occurance 0:9999999999
    fieldgroup----
    > FLDGRP
    batch----
    >FLDVAL
    fieldgroup1----
    >FLDGRP(same filed as above )
    cust_code----
    >FLDVAL(same filed as above)
    pl sugggest how to map using graphical mapping
    rgds
    arun

    I see the problem here... hmmm.. It is simple
    You need to just duplicate the E1WXX01 segment by right clicking and pressing Duplicate Subtree.
    Once you do duplication of segment then you will have two segments of E1WXX01.
    In first segment map
    > fieldgroup----
    > FLDGRP
    > batch----
    >FLDVAL
    and in second segment of E1WXX0, map
    > fieldgroup1----
    >FLDGRP
    > cust_code----
    >FLDVAL

  • Catch Mapping Error in File to IDoc scenario

    Configured BPM and now learning Error Handling. I know that through BPM we can handle system Errors, but I doubt whether Mapping error is a system error.
    I am interested to know the classification of errors with examples, preferably listing out all types of errors.
    Please provide some weblogs or explain briefly how to handle system and application errors through BPM.
    Thanks,
    Raja

    Hi Raja,
    You will need CCMS if you want to send the Alerts to external system or you want to access the ALerts from the transaction. You can capture your alerts without this also.
    When you go to Alert Configuration in the Runtime Workbench you can see Create Alert Rules. These rules are pertaining to the error generated in your AF,AE or IE.
    Once you have completed the whole config. The error happening in the AE, IE or AF would trigger the alert. you can see this in your Alert Inbox.
    The best would be if you go through the URL I have mentioned below.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/80/942f3ffed33d67e10000000a114084/content.htm
    You have to use BPM only if you want to do an activity after the alerts are raised.

  • File to idoc mapping error

    Hi,
    I am mapping a flat file to idoc in xi. If I execute the test data it works fine. But in actual run, it gave me the following mapping error:
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException thrown during application mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_MT_APPayment_to_FIDCCP02_: Runt
    imeException in Message-Mapping transformatio~
    Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_MAPPING
    Is it due to some mapping error or some basis config issue?
    Thanks,
    Jassi

    Hi Jassi,
    This may be a mapping issue, try this:
    a)in interface mapping see if grids are formed at source and target after executing the test option,
    b)also take the xml of the idoc from sxmb_moni , copy it and paste it at the source of the mapping ( use the src tab now) and execute the mapping, is your file structute formed?

    can you tell in what format is your source structure? I mean is it an XML or a CSV file?
    If it is a CSV file then you need FCC....but then in this case the error should have been thrown by the channel itself and the message wont have come till mapping step....
    If your source file is really in csv format then apply FCC....many blogs, references are readily available on SDN.

  • Mapping of Control records in file to idoc scenario

    Hi,
    In the mapping part of file to idoc scenario is it necessary to provide the exact control record details
    or will it pick what ever is mentioned ? Can any one please explain regarding the same?
    Many Thanks,
    Sharath

    hi,
    in case of apply control records from payload
    It is indeed very simple to do it and the feature is available from SP10. I have seen lot of posts on the forum for the same and that is the reason for this blog. We can manipulate the control record in the mapping editor and map the EDI_DC40 segment of Idoc as required. Most of the times we need to map only SNDPRN, RCVPRN, SNDPRT, RCVPRT for posting Idocs with appropriate partner profiles in SAP R/3 destination systems. We can disable the rest of the fields as shown below. We need to manually change the control record of idoc for populating partner profiles in the control records while dealing with non-sap sender system, which will be used by receiver SAP system for posting idocs with appropriate ALE configurations.
    check this blog

  • File to Idoc Mapping Problem

    Hi all,
    i'm getting an error from SXMB_MONI in a scenario File to Idoc.
    I have done the mapping from source file and Idoc CREMAS03, when i try to test from Integration Repository it's all ok, but when the scenario is executed i find this error in Idoc Adapter :
    <SAP:P1>MSGGUID EF7E2140A08811DDBE1202004C4F4F50: Tag #TEXT found instead of tag IDOC BEGIN=</SAP:P1>
    The field BEGIN in idoc structure is filled with constant value 1, than i dont understand the error.
    This is the xml source file :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:Vendor xmlns:ns0="urn:tbit40:workshop:group01:legacy">
    - <Address>
      <Country>IT</Country>

      </Address>

      <SearchTerm>TEST</SearchTerm>
      <LastName>GUIDA</LastName>
      <VendorNumber>44332</VendorNumber>
      </ns0:Vendor>
    Any help is really appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hi all and thanks for your answer.
    My problem is that for what i can see all Idoc attribute (like the attribute BEGIN) are mapped with constant value.
    In taget source i can see :  BEGIN = Constant([value=1])
    What i dont understand is why when i execute the scenario it ends with this message :
    <SAP:P1>MSGGUID EF7E2140A08811DDBE1202004C4F4F50: Tag #TEXT found instead of tag IDOC BEGIN=</SAP:P1>
    It seem to me that the tag BEGIN is not filled with value, i also tried to copy the source xml file directly from SXMB_MONI  (from payload) and test it in Integration Repository mapping section, but here is all ok and the test end succesfully.

  • Mapping issue: FCC: Idoc for each record in file

    Hi,
    I have file to Idoc scenario.
    I receive csv file with multiple records.
    The requirement is to create an Idoc for each record.
    For eg.
    source file
    A1,B1,C1
    A2,B2,C2
    A3,B3,C3
    After FCC
    <MT>
    <TRANS>
    <ROW>
    <A>A1</A>
    <B>B1</B>
    <C>C1</C>
    </ROW>
    <ROW>
    <A>A2</A>
    <B>B2</B>
    <C>C2</C>
    </ROW>
    <ROW>
    <A>A3</A>
    <B>B3</B>
    <C>C3</C>
    </ROW>
    </TRANS>
    <MT>
    I have first tested it with only 1 record to test end to end connectivity. It works as expected and Idoc is posted to target system.
    Now when I am trying to send multiple records, I am getting some issues.
    Below are the steps that I have taken to process multiple records:
    1. Changed the cardinality of ROW (child of RecordSet) from 1 to Unbounded.
    2. Changed the occurance of Idoc to Unbounded.
    3. Mapped ROW to Idoc root.
    I have tested the mapping in IR and it generates multiple IDOCs.
    When I send the test file, it fails with error Tag found instead of tag IDOC BEGIN=
    I can see the xml message created with multiple ROWs in XI by File adapter in sxmb_moni.
    When I do Test Configuration in ID, with the XML message extracted from sxmbmoni, the result that I got was:_
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge"><ns0:Message1></ns0:Message1></ns0:Messages>
    This means that idoc was not created while mapping.
    But the same sample message works OK in IR!
    Pls help where I have missed.
    Regards,
    Anirudh.

    Sudhir,
    Thanks for your response.
    FCC is working fine. I have taken the XML message in XI created after FCC from csv sample message.
    I have tested this message in IR by placing it between
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
       <ns0:Message1>
    </ns0:Message1>
    </ns0:Message>
    It is working fine and Idocs are created in mapping in IR.
    But the same sample message is creating below output ID!
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge"><ns0:Message1></ns0:Message1></ns0:Messages>

  • File - XI - Idoc : mapping issue

    Hello gurus,
    I have a mapping issue:
    I have a mapping between FICABillingNotification to FKK_EBS_DOC_TREE
    Some fields are mapped one to one, others a mapped to constants.
    But for some reason i don't know, not all fields get the right value.
    For example:
    Working:
    Constant 1 --> BEGIN
    Constant LS --> RCVPRT (Receiver Partner Type)
    Not working:
    Constant FILE-->RCVPOR (Receiver Port)
    I had an other value the first time i tried it, but now i changed it to FILE but this value is not used by the mapping.
    Any help would be welcome
    Thanks
    Thomas

    This was allready done (sorry i didn't answered that question).
    But Ok now i see, that for this RCVPOR the value of the constant "FILE" is mapped, and i can see it in the payload in SXMB_MONI after the mapping. But it isn't populated to the IDoc field :-s
    Another problem is, that like the one said above, some of my values are not mapped :
    <FICAExternalBilling>
    --<DocumentHeader> mapped to EF1KK_EBS_DOC_HEADER
    <BillFromId>25001254</BillFromId> mapped to REF_DOC_NUMBER
    <PostingDate>20080520</PostingDate> mapped to POST_DATE
    <DocumentDate>20080520</DocumentDate> mapped to DOC_DATE
    <OriginTypeId>IV</OriginTypeId> mapped to EXT_DOC_TYPE
    <ObjectType/>
    <ObjectKey/>
    <PendingCommitmentGroupID/>
    <InvoiceReferenceID/>
    <DisputeDocumentReferenceID/>
    --</DocumentHeader>
    The value of OriginTypeId is not mapped, but the value of DocumentDate and PostingDate are mapped.

  • Mapping and Interfacing files into R/3 as IDOCs using XI

    We are trying to send an IDOC into R/3 thru XI. We generated one from R/3 into XI - it worked fine, however the reverse direction is not working well.
    We are using XI 2.0 with R/3 4.6C.
    We ran into two problems:
    when we tried DEBMAS/DEBMAS06, we were getting a message in SXMB_MONI / IDX5 that the entry DEBMAS06 is not found (in table IDOCSYN) on XI. On our XI server we found that there were only 65 IDOC message types defined (I dont know why .. but none of the popular IDOC messages like DEBMAS, CREMAS, MATMAS, ORDERS, etc are in XI). We thought may be that is the reason. But we do not know thru config, how to add IDOC messages into XI - this is not the same as importing IDOC type .. we have already done that. Just importing an IDOC structure does not put an entry in tables like IDOCSYN, and others...
    Then we tried using an IDOC message that was in XI IDOC tables - FLIGHT_SAVEREPLICA. This ones gets past the error we got with DEBMAS. However, we still do not see the IDOC in R/3.  When we check IDX5 or SXMB_MONI, it says that the message is processed successfully and does not show any errors. We are not understanding why it does not reach R/3.
    Has anyone mapped files into IDOCs and sent to R/3 thru XI. If you did, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP US OUT....
    It looks like we are missing small config step .. somewhere ..
    We created partner profiles, set up ports and RFC destinations. IN SLD we did define the logical systems. On the surface, from the config everything seems fine.
    OSS note 669669 is already in.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated ...

    You need to change the outbound version to a lower version. ie send debmas03 not 06.
    This is an ALE to ALE issue. Not XI related.

    Use SXI_SUPPORT and follow it in debug...
