Hi Team,
I am using Oracle 10g, But i have only schema level access.
How to mask the sensitive data in Columns like Salary Name,Bank account can be updated with a different values...like XXXX ?.

Very Urgent Table Column Design
Hi,
This is what i have done, I am having a table with 2 columns.One is Text view and the other is Link to Action. I set the Table row count as 10. Table design is standard and all columns design is standard. Now The first text view column appears blue in colour and the second Link to action appears in White. To make both to have same white colour i made the table as Read only now both columns appear as white. If the table have more than 10 records it works fine. But if it is less say 4 records then first four records are in white remaining are in light blue. I want to make every thing to appear same white or same blue color. How to do this .

Its very urgent to know,for a particular load IDOCs used to run to process the data&dialogs,in 3.5 we used to get the IDOCs list in RSMO screen itself,but in 7.0 is not having that options,please tell me for a particular load where we can find list of IDOCs?

Transact RFC error
tRFC Error - status running Yellow for long time (Transact RFC will be enabled in Status tab in RSMO).
Step 1: Goto Details, Status get the IDoc number,and go to BD87 in R/3,place the cursor in the RED IDoc entroes in tRFC
queue thats under outbound processing and click on display the IDOC which is on the menu bar.
Step 2: In the next screen click on Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call)
place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.
OR
Go into the JOB Overview of the Load there you should be able to find the Data Package ID.
(For this in RSMO Screen> Environment> there is a option for Job overview.)
This Data Package TID is Transaction ID in SM58.
OR
SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute.It will show you all the pending TRFC with
Transaction ID.
In the Status Text column you can see two status
Transation Recorded and Transaction Executing
Don't disturb, if the status is second one Transaction Executing. If the status is first one (Transation Recorded) manually
execute the "Execute LUWs"
OR
Directly go to SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show TRFCs to be executed
for that user. Find the particular TRFC (SM37 > Req name > TID from data packet with sysfail).select the TrasnID (SM58) --->
EDIT ---> Execute LUW
Also
Check Note 561880 - Requests hang because IDocs are not processed.

Counting Unique Records: very urgent
Hi,
I have to create a query for which i have to count the unique records appearing for a particular selection. For that i created a CK and in its agregation set Count all values <> 0 For customer. we are having Modality in my rows and CK in column. Now what happens if for 4 different records there is one customer then output appears one against that modality but it should show 4. As such there is no unique field in the cube that i can count. But we have maintined a Count key figure against each record in the cube that has value 1 for each row. But as it is a Key figure i cannot use it in aggregation. Is there any way to solve this situation....

However you can create a trgigger on table which is based on updat of column. And in this trigger you can send a mail using plsql.

SMARTFORMS STEPS.
1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
5. Open Tcode Smartforms
6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.
10. By right click on page you can create windows or Go to Edit, Node, Create.
11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).
13. In table there are three areas Header, Main Area, Footer.
14. Right click on the Main area create table line by default line type1 is there select it.
15. Divide line into cells according to your need then for each cell create Text node.
16. In text node general attribute. Write down fields of your work area(wa) or write any thing you want to display.
17. Save form and activate it.
18. Then go to Environment, function module name, there you get the name of function module copy it.
19. In your program call the function module that you have copied from your form.
20. In your program in exporting parameter of function pass the internal table(itab).
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.

I need to select some information based on date and time.
I am having two coloumns for Date and time. The first column(testDate) of type Date stores date as MM/DD/YY format and the second column(testTime)of type Numeric stores the time in seconds.
The Example data is :

Please suggest.I have a table(custom_table1) with a field say A which is of date type = c and length = 9. And i want to query this table.Following is the query.
Select substr(A,0,5) B C into itab From table custom_table1
where b = ( select b from cusstom_table2 )
and substr(A,0,5) = Input_A.
That is i want to equate an Input_A (which is of 5 character length) with field A (only first 5 character of the 9 length). But it seems the query is wrong. Kindly help ,very urgent

the incoming XML documents before updating the database. But
when I used the Oraxle XML class(getXML option)I found one
command line option called -useDOMDoc( Use the DOM API to
generate the XML doc). I am not clear about it's functionality.
Why it's being used to create a XML document? Or explain me
clearly about the functionality of getXML option?
2.With the help of putXML command line option I could insert one
XML document into Oracle 8i ( I could insert one table only). My
question is if I have a XML document which contains elements
from two tables( emp and detail) and tags from the same two
table too. In that case how could I insert into two tables? what
I should do?

Hello Mr. "very urgent" Chan,
1- The command line front end of the XSU, besides being useful
for you users, it is also a great tool for us to test the XSU.
Basically the -useDOMDoc makes the XSU use OracleXMLDocGenDOM to
generate the doc. When using the query API you can pass the
OracleXMLDocGenDom class to the getXML request and instead of a
string contining the xml document you will get back a DOM tree
(i.e. Document object).

How to test Scenario with AS2 adapter..!!!Very Very Urgent..!!
Hi All,
We have provided the partner details like AS2ID,URL,Port and certificates.
They ask me to do some sample testing whether files are reaching to partner system or not.
I done all the required steps in IR and ID...
1. Can anyone suggest me how to do the testing
2. Where to monitor for AS2 messges?
3. How to see the our output files whether we are sending the correct files or not?
4. Outbound -- How we will come to know whether file reached to partner or not?If we set sync Mdn.. where we can see the MDN..?
5. Inbound-- How we will come to know whether file has sent to us or not?
Someone pls explain step by step how to do the testing using AS2 adapters for both Outbound and Inbound.
Its Very Very urgent.

A) Like message monitoring in RWB we have a particular link to monitor the message through differnt seeburger adapter.
I dont remember the link right now.

A) u mean to check the output file data or strucutre if strucutre is not proper then u will get the error message and ur mapping fails.

I have no idea.

File is sent over wan so when it will be pickd up by XI.

Very Urgent - Transient attribute setting and getting problems
Hi,
I am using a DFF to set date but since DFF can store only varchar data and I need date datatype for the same,
I have create a EO based on per_all_people_f table of HRMS.
Then I created a VO based on this EO and added a column to_date(substr(attribute11,1,10), 'RRRR/MM/DD') to get a date column so that I can display date calendar on my OAF page.
Then I created a page based on this VO and creaed a table region and selected this new column instead of attribute11 column.
A date field is diaplayed on the page but when I use calendar to set date for this field and try to get the value in processFormRequest, I get null instead of actual date.
Its really very urgent. I wadted lot of my time on this but could not find any solution.

Anyway, I have used Standard Date value set for attribute11 field but since datatype of the attribute field is 'VARCHAR2', in EO and hence in VO, it is taking datatype as VARCHAR2.
