Mass run for leveling - CM40
Dear all,
Once running CM40 in background, I receive an error message like:
"No capacity requirements were found in the evaluation period
Message no. CY140
Diagnosis
No capacity requirements records were found for the selected orders in the evaluation period.
Procedure
You should check the evaluation period in the time profile in Customizing. Try refreshing the chart by clicking on the right mouse button and selecting 'Refresh'."
Time Profile OPD2 is fine.
It is maintained
- work scheduling view is maintained for the material.
- Work center capacities with formulas are relevent for "finite scheduling" and capacity planning.Chec in CO02 capacity view.
- Control key generate capacity reqs with scheduling indicator enable.
- In planned order parameters OPU5 the indicator "generate capacity requirements with scheudling" with selection ID of routing is active.
Checking the planned orders, I can see that capacity requirements were created in the given period, nevertheless system in CM40 is informing that there isn't capacity requirements.
I'm not sure where I should look now to solve this matter.
Thanks in advance, Jefferson

Yes, all these things are important and necessary to make it run, but was not our problem.
We finally have indentified the problem, and is related with control profile and period profile. For some reason, once we choose tabular and period (in control profile), the problem happens, togheter with the period profile that we select. As we are running in background(CM40), we have decided to select "no display" and to have another overall profile with tabular form and our time profile and strategy profile for CM22.
So we solve our problem with a overall profile without display and another one whit our own configuration in the time profile and strategy profile for CM22.
Thank you both for the tips. It help us to get this conclusion.
Best regards, Jefferson

Mass change for QM at operation level in routing
Dear Experts,
I have to carry out mass change for Quality Management at operation level in routing. The steps that I am carrying out for an individual record are as follows.
1. CA02
2. Inspection point 100 is maintained at header level
3. Go to operation level
4. At operation level work center and control key have been maintained
5. Double click on operation
6. When I scroll down here I go to Quality Management: Inspection Points view.
7. There by default in Insp.pointCompletion system shows the option as u201CQuantity, valuation (production) and radio button selected default indicates u201CQty-relatedu201D
8. I want to change these options as only u201CValuationu201D and u201CNo relationu201D respectively
My queries are,
1. Is there any T-code available to carry out these changes in mass?
2. Is it possible to do this without any Z development?
I am doubtful about using LSMW here. I would be highly grateful to you if someone can help me step by step.
Thanking you,
Anand RaoHi Sujit,
Thanks for your reply!
I tried CWBQM. Unfortunately could not succeed. I think may not be feasible through CWBQM.
But I came across T-Code CEWB . There I opted "SAP_OPERATION" as working area and it worked. Its quite useful T-Code.
Thanks again for your input.

In MRP Run for FERT, i want to eliminate 3rd level HALB and their BOM compo
Hi All,
Can you please guide me on this issue please.
Regarding - In MRP Run for FERT, i want to eliminate 3rd level HALB and their BOM components for exploration and planning
My scenario is:
Level 1: FERT1
Level 2: HALB1.1 + ROH1.1 + VERP1.1
Level 3: HALB1.1.1 + ROH1.1.1
Level 4: ROH 1.1.1.1 + ROH1.1.1.2
While performing MRP run i dont want to include the material HALB1.1.1 (Level 3 component) and their corresponding BOM component (ROH 1.1.1.1 + ROH1.1.1.2)
My constraint:
The reason for this is HALB1.1.1 is being manufactured through REM profile with separate PIR and MRP run.
But it is being consumed in FERT1 through intermediate semi-finished HALB1.1. and it needs to include for Product costing.
Note: All materials have been marked as PD - MRP type
Would be a great help from you.
Thanks and Regards

2851 Router VPN - stack for level DMA/Timer Interrupt running low 36/9000
I have a site to site VPN. On my hub router I am seeing the following message EVERY minute in the log!
%sys-6-stacklow: stack for level DMA/Timer Interrupt running low, 36/9000
I have been trying to figure out what the DMA/Timer Interrupt is and what is causing it to run low.
If I run the "show stacks" command I can see:
<output omitted>
Interrupt level stacks:

I am also occasionaly seeing the following
%crypto--4-pkt_replay_error:decrypt: replay check failed connection id=7 sequence number=16171319
I don't know if they are related or not, but I need to find out what is causing the DMA/timer interrupt messages.
Thanks.It just rebooted
This router it just stands in front of a few servers and applies NAT.
So far this had happened a few times but since morning it rebooted already 3 times.
The Sagem ADSL router at my house has longer uptime. wtf!?!?

Mass transfer for asset categories
Hi,
We are implementing FA (on 11i release) in an organization. This organization is divided on 20 cost centers.
The requirement is that each cost center have its own balance sheet.
Related to FA, I need Asset cost account and Asset expense account to be detailed also on CC level. There are 4 types of assets (which are registered in 4 different natural accounts)
I have implemented by:
Create one book for all the organization.
Create one category for each type of asset and each CC (in total 80 categories).
So the registration of "asset cost" account on asset categories window looks:
Assets belonging for the first cost center:
01-CC1-1111-00
01-CC1-2222-00
01-CC1-3333-00
01-CC1-4444-00
Assets belonging to the 2nd CC:
01-CC2-1111-00
01-CC2-2222-00
01-CC2-3333-00
01-CC2-4444-00
and so on.
All categories are linked to the same book.
When I transfer a big number of assets from one CC into another, mass transfer program allows only transfer between expense accounts, location and employee name. It does not allow transfer from one category into another.
Please advice how mass transfer from one category into another can be implemented.
Thank you.Hi
You need to perform mass reclassifications for the same which is done at the book level.
In the Asset to reclass section you will populate the details of the asset numbers and the existing category information
In the Reclass section provide the details of the future category information.
Thereafter click on the preview button to preview the selection of assets found eligible for reclassification based on the input criteria entered, once you are satisfied with the output, run the mass reclassification program to bring the category transfer in effect.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Sale Order MRP Run for All Order Line Items
Greetings...
I have One Sales Order , in which i have ten different Line Items .
Now I have to Run the MRP on basis of Created sales Order so that all Line items wi get consider insingle MRP Run on sales order base MRP Run.
How to take MRP Run of One Sale Order for all Line Items.???
In MD50 , we can have sales Order with Item..In MD50 you can give only one item at a time.
Its a standard transaction meant to accomodate changes relevant for MRP after plant level MRP run related to specific sales order Item.
so either you need to do it multipal times by changing material or you need to go for MD02.
Please explain bussiness case in detail why you want to restrict your MRP run for items in a specific sales order.

SQL with connect by prior running for a long time
Hi,
We are using Oracle 10g. Below is a cursor sql which is having performance issues. The pAccountid is being passed from the output of a different cursor. But this cursor sql is running for a long time. Could you please help me in tuning this sql. I believe the subquery with connect by prior is causing the trouble.
The TRXNS is a huge table which is not partitioned. The query is forced to use the index on the accountid of the TRXNS table.
The accountlink table has 20,000 records and the TRXNStrack table has 10,000 records in total.
This sql executes for 200,000 pAccountids and runs for more than 8 hours.

Need info on Mass Run FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA
HI,
For SAP FS-CD project, We want to post data into CD by generating the IDOC through LSMW in Delayed Status (With out posting) and will be posted using Mass Run FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA.
What is the standard process of posting throguh IDOC. when i post through IDOC will they be posted with delayed status ( withour real postings). Do we have to run Mass Run FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA for real postings.
I need to know the relevant events for Mass Run FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA.
Also i need info on how to track errors on the below; Is there any way where we can track errors on the below
1) LSMW Data Read/Convert
2) IDOC generation with error Status
3) FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA Mass run SLG1 log
Please provide the information.
Edited by: CVMaruthiRao on Jan 5, 2012 8:15 AMHI CVMaruthiRao,
IDOC generation with error Status --> You can use the WE05 transaction, in this transaction you will see the error description and you can fixe!
FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA Mass run SLG1 log --> In SLG1 you will see only the error after the IDOC processing.... in this case you alredy have the DOCUMENT (FPE1) Struture... and you can see any error at the document creation... but not on the IDOC processing.
WE19 you can use for creat any IDOC test you need...
I have a helpfull IDOC MANUAL (TOI COPA) configuration if is interesant for you , just send me an email.... andreppf hotmail com !!
I'm olso in an FS-CD project... but in my client we are not using the TOI COPA ... I have used in RM-CA projet...

BW Transport running for a long time
Hi Experts,
we have a bw transport for an ods that has close to 16 mil records in the target system. The transport has been running for more than 3 days.
We are adding 6 new fields to the ODS with these transport. The infoobjects that are being added are defined with masterdata and text. The secondary index on the ODS was deleted before the transport began.
In ST04 for Oracle session, the job ALTER TABLE 'XXX' ADD '6 fields' is running with 6 billion logical reads and 83 million physical reads.
The basis team says the process is running but cant exactly say what is running at a detail level.
How do I check the exact holdup at the oracle level? how do we identify the source that's causing this transport to run so long?
All thoughts appreciated.it's not a good idea, to change the info provider with so many data.
What will you do with the 6 empty infoobjects? There is no reporting
Is it not a better way to delete the infoprovider and fill it with new data from the source.

Phase MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG is running for more than 24 hours
Hi All,
we are upgrading our ECC 6.0 system to EHP04 SPS6. and the phase "MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG" in pre-processing phase is running for more than 32 hours. I am wondering how much time it will go. below are the details of our system:
1. total DB size : 600 GB (used)
2. CPUs: 4 (AIX p5 processors)
3. RAM : 18 GB
4. R3trans/Batch processes selected: 5 (each)
I am able to see the latest entries in log fille under EHPI\abap\tmp.
1 EDO533X*** Activate objects at level "309"
3 EDO635 Not enough work processes (total of "2", "1" can be used)
3 EDO634 * Synchronous execution, no parallel processing *
3 EDO680XSynchronous processing: "0" sec., "11" objects, "12.180" costs
1 EDO533X*** Activate objects at level "310"
3 EDO635 Not enough work processes (total of "2", "1" can be used)
3 EDO634 * Synchronous execution, no parallel processing *
3 EDO680XSynchronous processing: "1" sec., "35" objects, "23.660" costs
some processes are running. I am able to see from topas. it seems to be some I/O issue.
still wondering. how much time it will run. this is the production system.
Thanks,
MohanHi,

As you can see in the logs system does not have enough work processes to do parallel processing. So, it will take time.
Also how much background work processes your system have ?
Thanks

Mass Maintennace for EBKN not EBAN
Dear Experts,
I need to perform mass maintenance for a lot of PRs .. so I used T-Code MEMASSRQ which perform this on PRs but I found that this program only run for standard Items not account assignment items .
The data I want to change is in the table EBKN not EBAN which the program is dealing with
How to solve this problem ?
Thanks in advancedDear,
Mass maintainance in MEMASSRQ for PR is provided only for table EBAN.
You cann't process the Mass maintainance of account assignment of table EBKN in this transaction.
You can either go for BDC or LSMW to modify PR as per your requirement for multiple PR's

SPAM update running for a long time in MAIN_IMPORT - NW 7.0 SR3
Hi,
I have installed NW 7.0 SR3 -> AS ABAP. I am trying to update SPAM. My current version is 7.00/0026. I tried updating it to patch level 33 and 36 but during both the updates SPAM is taking an awful amount of time in the MAIN_IMPORT phase. Update to patch level 33 has been running for almost a week now after i used 'R3trans -i' from the command line as a last-ditch effort. a 'trans.log' file is being continuously updated. Any ideas on why just SPAM update is running for so long?
Thanks,

Mass Processing for Forecast SOP
Hi Experts,
I have one requirement, I have to run Mass Processing for Forecast SOP in background Job based on consumption values updated in Material Master.
I have followed all instruction give for doing this process (SAP SOP Mass Processing - SAPs'WORD - We SAP For Your Cause) but could not achieve.
Can any one help to run in background job for Mass Processing for Forecast SOP.
Thanks in Advance
V.SundeepHello,
Refer KBA 1778072 - Error message MA 653 when running mass processing forecast (program RMCP6BIN)
Internal condition NOT IPRWA-VGVON IS INITIAL not fulfilled
Internal condition NOT IPRWA-VGBIS IS INITIAL not fulfilled
Forecast/historical period cannot be calculated MA 653
Check your planning type which is used for your batch job. The number of historical periods in planning type (transaction MC8B) must not be smaller than the number of historical periods in forecast profile (transaction MC96). If the number of forecast period is maintained in the forecast profile (transaction MC96) the number of future period in the planning type must not be smaller than the number of forecast period in the forecast profile.
A not appropriate entry in SOP User Settings (transaction MC79) in Number of periods in the planning horizon can have an effect on this also.
Best Regards,

VI calling itself (run top level)
Just out of curiosity, is it possible for a top level VI to call itself?
For example, I have an ini configuration file w/ different settings for a simple power supply sweep. I would like to run different configurations one after another. The power supply vi is called 'supply sweep'.
While the program 'supply sweep' is running, if I use an invoke node to call 'supply sweep', the execution state is "run top level". The program outputs an error b/c the top level vi cannot call itself. I've tried making the vi re-entrant, but no luck yet.
Is there a way to get this to work? What is a better solution than creating multiple programs of the same program (i.e. 'supply sweep' calls 'supply sweep 2' which calls 'supply sweep 3', etc, etc.)
Thanks!I am attaching a generic vi to hopefully better illustrate what I am trying to accomplish. If you run program 1, it will call program 2 which will attempt to call itself again.
The solution I am looking to get is one in which program 2 can successfully call itself again w/o error. As a first pass, I've made program 2 re-entrant, but this doesn't seem to solve the issue. So far, the temp solution I have is to make a new program called program 3 which is identical to program 2. This seems rather redudant, and depending on the configuration file... program 2 may call itself 2,3,4,5, etc. times. It would be optimal to only have 1 instance of program 2.
