Mass Update Contract Documents through workbook?

Is it possible to mass update Contract documents through Workbook? if yes please proivde the workbook.

Please use the below mention fields to update the current Contract Document. you can use an CSV file to upload this.
see the attachment.
# Field name:
# Unique Agreement Name : This is the agreement's unique name to identify the agreement.
# Agreement Class ID :  This is the agreement's class ID. It is '1004' for Master Agreement and '1003' for Sub-Agreement.
# Agreement Display Name :  This is the agreement's display name.
# Attachment Name : This is the attachment's display name.
# Attachment Order Code :  This is the attachment's order code to locate the attachment collected by the agreement.
# Attachment Size (KB) :  This is the attachment's size in KB.
# Attachment Visibility :  This is the attachment's visibility. Either Buyside only or Buyside and Sellside.
# Added by :  This field indicates who added this attachment.
# Contract Document (Y/N?) :  Please enter this field with either 'Y' or 'N' to indicate if you want to convert this attachment to a contract document.
# Contract Document Type:  Please enter this field with the display name of the contract document type. Check the Setup->Contract Document Type for available choices.
# Contract Document Phase External ID: enter this field with the External ID of the contract document phase. The phase should be defined in the phase configuration of your contract document type.

    Hi Surya,
    Following are the step to upload batch document in LSMW:
    Create the Project, Subproject and Object in the LSMW Transaction (press F8)
    1) Maintain Object Attributes (click on Batch input recording) for ex: Do the recording to create DIR .
    Create recording (t code CV01N
    It will direct us to T code CV01N crate DIR attaché the document then save it.
    2) Maintain Source Structures: from Object overview List
    For easy reference copy the source file to Excel sheet and tabulate it has horizontal format then copy that in .txt .Create source structure save and go back.
    3) Maintain Source Fields:
    Maintain table (for ex: field name: DOKAR, type (should be) :C and length: 3)  save it and go back.
    4) Maintain Structure Relations : create relationship and go back.
    5) Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules
    Go to Extras -> Auto field mapping
    Accept all proposals Continue till Auto file mapping is completed save it and go back.
    6) Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Defined Routines(Optional)
    7) Specify Files
    Specify the input file (which we have saved in .txt file format in step 2) click in Tabular.
    8) Assign files
    9) Read Data:
    Execute the read data step to read the input file data (press F8)
    10) Display Read Data . 
    11) Display and Convert Data:
    The validations will take place when we execute the convert data step. The error records will download to the specified file path if there any and same will be displayed.
    12) Create Batch Input Session (press F8)
    13) Run Batch Input Session (press process-F8)
    Thus continue with this process document can be uploaded with given source file hence will create the specified DIR. hence continue enter...
    Continue till all the DIR created (as per input given in source file).

    I need to use DTW to update existing PO document. I realized that I have to have Doc Entry to be entered in the DTW template.
    Is there any way to update PO document through DTW without using that field, "Doc Entry"?

    Tony,
    A similar situation related to Bank files was resolved with one of my clients on the following way...
    The file from the Vendor can be an any order or format on the Excel.  Till the time it is consistant it should work fine..
    We created a Job in SQL Server to read this Excel file and to use the DocNum to get the DocEntry from SAP PO and output another excel file which is exactly the template format for PO Update.
    This may even not be required in your case.....
    You can get this done through an Excel Macro....which will connect to the database and using the DocNum get the DocEntry and update the Excel....
    This is 100% achievable and a better solution for regular use

  • Updating contract document extension fields from workflow

    I have a multi-step contract document workflow which routes first to an attorney and then through a series of business approvers.  The business approvers might reject the workflow for a number of non-legal related reasons which would not required the legal document to be changed.  I want to flag the document when the attorney approves in case the workflow is ultimately rejected and later restarted, the legal approval step can be skipped if the attorney previously approved and the legal agreement file has not been changed.  I have been unable to update a contract document extension field from within the middle of a workflow.  The system has the contract document locked but I'm not sure if that's what's blocking me and if so, can I unlock the document, make the change, and relock the document from the post-script?

    Unlocking/Relocking might be the right approach. You also may be experiencing a privilege issue based on the user running the script (but I doubt it if you are able to update other fields based on approvals). Let us know what you find out!

    HI All,
    Can i know how a Invoicing party and Vendor can be mass updated in the contracts in the Partner function screen for  existing contracts.I believe MEMASSCONTRACT can be used only in ECC.6.0
    We are in ECC5.0.Kindly advice on this.

    You will need to develop either an LSMW or custom program to update the contact partners in ECC5.

    Our client is having a requirement, to upload legacy (old) data from third party tool to DMS Content server through Archive link. Tool is implemented and it works fine for attaching individual document along with SAP Object like, Purchase Order, material, etc.

    I am trying to get more info on how to bulk upload employee documentation through SAP Archive Link' OpenText Enterprise Scan into the categories in OAWD. Once the documents are in Enterprise Scan the Administrator needs to link these to the categories in SAP. This is a manual process - is there a way to bulk upload these documentation to the right categories? Since these documents vary I am not sure that OCR will be a help.

    Looking on sql server profiling tool I found that  the DI API generates delete / insert instead of update statements ?
    Has someone an explanation ?

    Hi Gregory,
    There are couple of possible reasons for this. I think the most probable one is for performance and accuracy.
    Delete / insert may actually take less time than Update alone.

  • Mass Printout of Documents viewed through FB03

    I want to print a number of documents from SAP. I am viewing these documents through FB03. In FB03 when I select a range of documents it gives the result as a list. Is it possible to print each of the documents through a single T-Code?
    At present I am having to double click each line item in the list and print the documents individually.
    Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

    Please use transaction code F.62 to print the documents in mass. Please follow instruction in transaction help for any issues you face during printing.

    I couldnt find any BAPIs which update an accounting document. I think the safest way is to record FB02 and use BDC/Call Transaction.

    You can use FM IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT with message SHPMNT and IDoc type SHPMNT01/02/03/04/05 to update shipment document.

    We are in SRM 4.0 and working on local SRM Contract.
    Now we want to update the validity in these contract, but as there is no way to perform mass change to these contract.
    Is there any way we can update the contract validity period at the header level and also at the Item Condition level.

    It is not advisable to update contract validity period as per the standard process.
    BBP_PD_CTR_UPDATE - You try this FM to update contract but i am afraid since you are trying to update the validity period.

  • Mass Updates of Actions in Contracts

    Hi,
    We would like to know how can we do a mass update on service contracts to update the new action definition in item actions tab. There are around 400,000 contracts which already has old actions based on the Schedule & Start conditions, but we want to introduce a new actions (with different Schedule and Start Condition) that needs to be updated in all these contracts without having to edit & save each and every contract to redetermine a new actions.
    Is there any standard program/transaction that will update the new actions in the contracts? Or suggest any way of quickly updating these contracts with new actions.

    Hi Stenwa,
    the adjustment rule for index adjustment has to added in the adjustment tab of the contract and then the condition assigned to be able to proceed with adjustment process (REAJPR) afterwards.
    If you need to add these data for a lot of contracts (because it had not been added when the contracts were created) then you can use API_RE_CN_CHANGE for this purpose.

    I am Using a BAPI  BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA for Updating the Partners in the Contract documents by passing 'U' in the field Update_flag of the structure BAPISDHD1X.
    I am facing an issue as in the BAPI Return table : S document saved successfully
                                                                                  S No data was changed.
    Please help or give me a solution to update only partners in the Contract documents(VA42).
    Also please let me know any other BAPIs that can be used to do so.

    Hi,
    Contract mass update Process starts when an RFx response or bid is accepted. Where items in the RFx response or bid have the same suppliers, the same currencies, and the same products as one or more existing contract, the contract(s) is (are) updated with the prices and other header/item information from the RFx response or bid. If the RFx response or bid contains new products, these can also be attached to existing contracts with the same supplier and currency (append function), or a new contract can created.
    Coming to configuration part:
    Define process parameters: Where you can define whether you want to update zero price quoted items to existing contracts or not (include / exclude options are available)
    Set default parameters: Where we can control contract parameters for updated (either default / from RFx or BId), following SAP explanation will give you more clarity on it.
    In this Customizing activity, you define which parameters are, by default, part of the contract mass update from an RFx response or a bid. To do this, select the Default Indicator.
    You can select the Lock indicator to prevent the user from doing the following:
    Deselecting a parameter that has been defined as a default parameter in Customizing
    Selecting a parameter that has not been defined as a default parameter in Customizing

  • Update was terminated when creating document through FBR2

    Hi,
    I am getting the error "Update was terminated " when I try to change the GLcode and post the document through transaction FBR2. The ABAP dump error shows ASSERTION_FAILED in the program LGLIOA20 , form OBJECTNR_FIND_GLPCC. Moreover it's a V1 update.
    I am not sure what data is missing during the posting. Can you suggest what would be the cause for termination occurred?
