I dont know what you mean exactly? In matrix you want to show images or you want to store images through matrix (as attachments)?
If you want to show images in matrix, the matrix column must be image type as

If you want attach image to matrix, the filed you have binded to matrix must be subtype link as

I have been playing around with this for a while now and (seeing that Ibai actually already gave you a solution) I'm just gonna post where I am up to now. I have a matrix with two columns on it (c_1 and c_2). c_1 holds the value 1, 2 or 3. Whenever the user clicks on c_2 I repopulate the combo box according to the value selected in c_1. The only problem is that it shows the second last selected row and not the one that is currently selected. I am just posting it here so it can maybe someday put someone onto the right track.

I upgraded my Itunes to the latest version and now it won't let me view my library with the column browser. Can i get that back?

i upgraded my Itunes to the latest version and now it won't let me view my library with the column browser. Can i get that back? I tried using the shortcut for it and nothing happens. When I try to do it from the view menu, it shows up as something I can't click on. The new library format is driving me crazy and I just want to get back to the old library view.

We need to sort out some facts here first:
• You cannot be running Mt. Lion on your iMac G5. What Mac is it? What is the Model Identifier listed in About This Mac; More Info; Hardware Overview
• What is the model of your Epson Scanner?
• Have you attempted to scan using Image Capture, located in your Applications folder?
• Your Palm Pilot software will only run in Snow Leopard; so depending upon which Mac you have, you will either have to:
1) partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it to "dual-boot" when you want to access you Palm software, or
2) install Snow Leopard Server (now available from Apple for $20 telephone orders USA & Canda only) into Parallels 8 to run your Palm software in Mt. Lion:

Is it possible to overwrite an entire iPhoto library with one photo?

I was doing a routine download of a photo from my e-mail to my iPhoto library and pressed the "save to iPhoto".
I then went into iPhoto (I have version 08) and all of my event folders appeared...then suddenly gray boxes started appearing and everything disappeared.
When I went in to open iPhoto again I received a message to the effect of cannot find. We have created a new iPhoto but cannot find any of the photos in our library anywhere in searching our hard drive. Have tried all the search functions (including putting in jpg names of actual photos) and nothing is turning up. When I go into the data files - the photos are not in there. Is it possible to have somehow wiped out our entire collection of about 3000 photos? Unfortunately we did not have a back-up hard drive.....
I tried following some of the advice posted for iPhoto losses and gray boxes appearing...however none of them work.
Am finding it hard to believe that could have wiped out our entire collection by saving one photo? Was using iPhoto and saving a photo from the e-mail in the way I have been doing for months.
Any advice tips would be greatly appreciated?!
In disbelief over the possibility of entirely wiping out our collection!

We have created a new iPhoto
Do you mean you create a new iPhoto Library? How did you go about doing so? There is a possibility that you could have created a new library and overwritten the old one, thus the one library with only one photo in it. It's iffy but might have been accomplished.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Data of matrix(with userdatasource columns) dissapear in form_add mode

Why when i put the mode of my userform in ADD_mode the data of my matrix (with userdatasource data in columns,not linked to one table) disapear?.
How i can do to not lost data? Exist any way?

I guess you are using UDO, and set it the ObjectType to form.
It is a default behavior that B1 will clear the form for new entry, when it switchs to add mode.
Would you specify the scenario more? Why would you like to keep the data in the form from Find / OK to Add mode?

Help with choosing column browser options

Hi, i have moved a compilation album into itunes but it is showing as seperate artists. I have read that using the column browser sorts this but when i go onto the menu all the options are greyed out and cannot be chosen.... Why???

I believe that OS X included Safari 1.0 in Jaguar. If not then Internet Explorer was included.
Presently I don't think any of the new browsers you can download will work with any earlier version of OS X than Panther (10.3.x.)
You can search for all Mac free and shareware at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

SSRS Matrix with customized column

I need to create a report in SSRS 2008. it's in the matrix format, but instead of normal columns that grows to the right, they want something like stepped rows only for column
Something like this:

instead of the standard matrix

Can anyone suggest to me how to do this?

According to your description, you create a matrix in SSRS 2008. Then you want to make columns grows with step-shape.
In Reporting Services, dynamic column headers expand horizontally in a matrix. All the column headers can only be within one row. It’s not supported to put headers into different rows. However, we can make each column header displays in different positions
of a text box, then make it look like step-shape. As we tested in our environment, we set expression for column group like bellow:

Then we can get step-shape column headers.

Matrix with Info Columns from different Table

Hi, how can i manage to have a column in a matrix that doesn't represent a value of the table the other columns are using?
For example, i have a matrix and this matrix has values of the UDT (@Table) and one column contains the projectcode. now i want one column in my matrix to show the project name of the OPRJ. how can i manage that, so that the value of this column in the matrix changes when i change the value of the other column with the project code?

1) You can fill the matrix from Recordset.
For example: UDT is [@O01_USERTABLE].
PrjCode foreign key to the Projects table (OPRJ - not exposed through the DI API).
So, if you type correctly PrjCode, you can fetch description using method below.

Select and Drag More Than One Photo

I can no longer select and drag more than one photo at a time. With one photo it works fine. If I select more than one, I can't move them, so I have to add pictures to albums one at a time, which is rather tedious.
This has only started happening recently. Possibly after updating to 10.6.8????

Then I would try a reinstall:
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

Does anyone know a way to get one photo to span more than two pages?

I am trying to get a panorama to appear across multiple pages in an iPhoto book. I can get one file to span 2 pages, but I was wondering if I could span 4 or six pages with one photo?

No, not automatifcally in iPhoto.
You may be able to split the original file into 2 (4 page spread) or 3 (6 page spread) parts, each part with a size ratio for an 8.5 x 22 layout. You'd have to experiment with the sizes of the individual parts to get it like you want it.

Problem with checkbox column in matrix

Hello.
I have a little problem with checkbox column in matrix.
Column is binded to the UserData.
It has ValOn="Y", ValOff="N".
I use C++. It is wird problem. In matrix I have 10 columns - scrollbar role and if You want see checkbox column, You must role to the right. If this column is on the screen, and I use:
checkcell->PutChecked(VARIANT_TRUE);
then the checkbox is cheched, and if the checkbox isn`t on the screen and I use this comment - it nothing happening.
I tried to use ValOn="Y", PutChecked...
The problem i solved if the column is on the screen - if the column is first in matrix or second, but if it`s last I have a big problem.
My column with checkbox is not editable, but I tried to make it editable, check it, and then make it uneditable - the same efect.
How can I solve it ?

Hello Kamil,
I am not sure about your problem, but here is an example of how to use checkbox in UI API.
First, create the matrix with checkbox column in Screen painter, and the output is an xml file, like this. Type as 121 indicates that it is a check box.

Second, bind the column to table from DB. This is a bug of 2004 Screen Painter, so if you are using 2005 Screen Painter, there is no problem.
Third, when you open the form, you can check and uncheck the cell.
BTW, please set the editable of the column to true.

Can't see album art in Songs view in iTunes 11, column browser issues

The column browser is still the most effective way for me to navigate my music, but in iTunes 11 it's only available in Songs view. This kinda makes sense, the column browser would be somewhat redundant in the other views, but Songs view is now missing the album art on the left side, which makes it a lot harder to view my music. This is what it looked like in iTunes 10:

The album art was't just pretty, it had a great function of visually separating each of my albums in the list view. Now they all mush together. Sure, I can see the art now in the Artists or Genre view, but not with the column browser. I want to be able to sort by Genre, Artist and Albums - all three. Not one or the other. The column browser is the only way to do this and it just got uglier.
On top of all this, now if I navigate to a certain place in the column browser and then click on anything else in iTunes, like the Artists view, Movies, Podcasts, etc and then jump back to the column browser, the whole column browser is reset and I've lost my place. This never used to happen in iTunes 10.
It's like Apple is trying to marginalize the column browser till no-one wants to use it anymore.

I found this in another discussion about iTunes 11:

The column browser is no longer available when trying to view music in iTunes. I'm only able to use the column browser only when viewing playlists. Why?

I noticed that after one of the recent updates to iTunes, I am unable to view my music using the column browser type view. Only when I select one of my playlists is the music displayed with the column browser. When I select Music to view the contents of my library, only the album covers are displayed on the right side. The old column browser type display is not available any more - it is grayed out. I do have "show list views for all media" checked in my Preferences / General tab.
Did Apple screw up or is it me?

Help with import/drag one photo into iPod Classic 160

Hello - I could swear I've done this before --- I've got my iPod Classic 160 Gb synced to iTunes, and JUST want to drag one little photo onto my iPod (in the left column), but I get an alert & it won't let me do this. Can't you just add a photo by dragging it onto the iPod in the left column? I don't want to totally sync my iPod as I get a warning saying that if I sync for photos, it will replace ALL photos and music with what is in my iTunes library, and I don't have the entire contents of my iPod currently in my iTunes library. Can't I do a simple thing like add one photo? (It's a .jpg.) Thank you very much for any help.

Thanks again for your suggestion about taking the charger back to the store. We tried it there and the charger itself worked fine (shocker!) so we tried with a different Apple charger and my iPod. And it finally worked! The guy at the store tried to explain to me WHY the charger hadn't worked with my iPod (something about ampere or something) but when I told him that it in fact worked with my old iPod from 2007 he had to agree that it was very strange.
Anyway, they didn't have in stock that new slick Apple charger (small and thin compared to the big squared one I got first) so I ended up buying a Belkin charger that works great. So all's well that ends well!

One page in my site has 3 columns but when I publish the site it shows up with 2 columns

I set up the site with 2 columns per page, except for one page which has 3 columns. I looks right in iweb, but when I publish the site it still shows up with 2 columns like the other pages...any idea how to correct that?

Clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the page.
What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand?
