Maximum roles error

I am getting following error in alert logs:
ORA-28031: maximum of 148 enabled roles exceeded
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 42568
Does this mean that Oracle is limited to use 148 roles.
I create 150 roles and granted all to one user.. I got same error
Is there any workaround for this ?
I am using oracle 10.2.0.1.0 version.

Increasing max_enabled_roles will not help. The max limit is 148 per the Oracle documentation (well actually 150 since PUBLIC and the implied role matching the usrname are not included). Note that this parameter is defined as "the maximum number of database roles that users can enable, including roles contained within other roles".
I think that you need to re-visit your role structures if a user needs more than 148 roles in order to function.

Its Possible to assign number of roles to an user.
A role represent the users responsiblity for his job.
It means if a portel user is a developer he can have administration roles such as
Content Admin, System Admin, User Admin ..etc.
If the Portal user is end user means he need not to have Admin roles. Likewise
a user can have number of meanful roles.

Maximum roles assignment per user

I am in a security project and after role designing is done there are lot of roles designed by our functional consultants. And there are 33 company codes present in the company. And few end users are responsible for 20 company codes, So when I saw per user more then 450 deriroles created. Now my question is can I assign 450 roles to a user?
As far as I know 312 roles can be assigned to user max. But is there any profile parameter available in SAP so that I can assign more then default maximum roles.

Maximum step error count exceeded OR fatal error encountered.

I am inserting distinct records into a table. I am able to execute mapping when I call it from script. Tables are getting loaded properly bur duplicate records are getting inserted. While de-bugging
Encountering "Maximum step error count exceeded OR fatal error encountered" error.

Configuration of R/3 role error

Hi all
I want to connect an external R/3 system(4.7*110) to XI3.0. According to the configuration documentation, I have already created the Technical System and Business System as well as their clients on the base of Integration Server.
The configuration on the R3 client , The SXMB_ADM->Configuration Data(Integration Engine) is
Role of Business System ：Application System
Corresponding Integ. Server :dest://NELSON_INTEGRATION_XI"
But a mistake is made when checking ,the error message is :

hostname : servername (don't give ip address some time will problem better enter the server name only)

save ..now go to sxmb_adm there you check and find out the status..

Do you have some other roles imported before or you never had any roles imported before?
You might have various roles created with various users permission. Is it happening with only one role or with all the roles you have created in your SAP System?
Since you are using the imported SAP roles, you need to ensure that the users for those roles have also been imported, so you should make sure the Automatically imported users and Force user synchronization check boxes are selected. If you are not sure, you can select the Force user synchronization check box and click update button on the role import tab of your SAP system.

After successfully installed Microsoft Exchange 2013 coexistence with Exchange 2007, I run into many problems. I am getting event ID 1023:Microsoft-Windows-Perflib: Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL MSExchangeIS. The first four bytes (DWORD)
of the Data section contains the windows error code.
Event ID 6003: MSExchange Common: ConnectitityLog: Failed to create log directory: Access is denied to path. What kind of access permission do I give to the file directory?

UCD1032: Maximum selection error despite reclass and 0 amount

In the consolidation monitor during balance sheet data collection, I get the following error:
UCD1032: Maximun selection does not contain value 401 of subassignment Mov type.
Indeed, the postion involved is posted on a movment type that is not in the breakdown category range. We reclassified it to a proper one in the range but the error remains. The booking on MT 401 remians with no value...

If I understood correctly, you suggest to change the breakdown category of the item that creates the error to one that alows Mov. type 401. However since I reclassed the booking to an allowed Mov. type, I expect no error.
But somehow, the validation is still considering the booking to mov. type 401. Probalby because it shows up in the protokol allthough it has no value.
I would hope no values entries would not be considered for validation.

How to change the "Page Flow Error - Unsatisfied Role Restriction" page

When you try to access a page and are denied authorization to it, Weblogic automatically redirects you to a
"Page Flow Error - Unsatisfied Role Restriction" page, on the bottom of which tells you what roles you have to be in in order to access the resource. My question is how can I change this page to match the general look and feel of my application?

I know you asked this almost a month ago, so you may have already figured it out... but you just need to add a handler for com.bea.wlw.netui.pageflow.UnfulfilledRolesException. Something like this:
@jpf:catch type="com.bea.wlw.netui.pageflow.UnfulfilledRolesException" path="roles-error.jsp"
You can put it at the class level of a specific page flow, or at the class level of WEB-INF/src/Global.app, which will apply it to all page flows.

ERROR: "You are not assigned to a role" in BEx

Hi,
I have a user BEXUSER. In PFCG, I have assigned this user to a role ZR_USER_ROLE.
However, when I tried to open a query in BEx Anlyzer through Open > Workbooks > Roles toolbar, I could not find any workbooks assigned to this user.
Next, I tried to open a query using Open > Queries toolbar, I chose a query and tried to click Enter in Role icon. However, I am prompted with a message saying "You are not assigned to a role".
How is this possible when I have already assigned this user to a role. I have checked PFCG and confirmed that the particular role contains this user. Can someone explain about this?

I am getting this exact same error, and the values that I have set in my query developer's job role are the following :
S_USER_AGR
ACTIVITY = 01, 02, 06, 22
ROLE NAME = {list of roles that the user should be able to save queries to}
S_USER_TCD
TRANSACTION CODE = RRMX
The user still receives the "you are not assigned to a role" error message when pressing the "save to role" button for a workbook.
In the ST01 authorizations trace, I see that the user is FAILING the authorization check for S_USER_AGR, but is failing the check for role names that he / she not supposed to modify.
So those failures are good, but they seem to prevent from saving the workbook to any role ...
How can it be setup so that the user can save workbooks to roles that were inteded to be saved to, without getting the "your are not assigned to a role" error when trying ?

Error adding Default roles after transport

we are trying to transport our GP to another system.
the transport imported successfully.
but we are getting below error if we need to add the Default roles in the new portal system.
Administartion -> Assign default roles ->
Error/Message: The process template does not contain roles to which you can assign default values.
     Could not retrieve process template
Design time:
     Error/Message: 1.Cannot retrieve activity template: Development object does not exist in the database
                    2.      Cannot retrieve object:
Please suggest me if you have faced simiilar issue.

Already I have tried in both from Administartion -> Assign Default Roles -> Select the process, by selecting the process & when we click on Open, this error is populated.
Also in Design time -> select the process -> by clicking on the "Open" , I am getting this error.
Also, I have tried the option to do "Edit All" to change the version of all the objects and transport them to targeted system.
and , also implemented the SAP Note: 1321013.
But in all the above cases, I am getting the same error.
Then tried to remove the Default Roles and assigned all the roles to Initiator, then transported, still when I try to run the process and when I open the process getting the same error.
SAP Note: 1321013:
Terminate all process instances.
Unlock all objects.
Delete all process templates.
Empty trash.
Redeploy process templates.
Release objects after Import.

App+IIS server role, WCF data problems with Shrepoint Foundation 2013 install on 2012 R2

I am having tremendous trouble installing Sharepoint Foundation on a Windows 2012 R2 domain controller.
The server has just been added to our domain, promoted and this is the first piece of software I am trying to install. I had run Windows Update after joining it to the domain and before making it a member server before it was promoted.
I had real problems getting AppFabric to install but that is now done. However when I run the Sharepoint prerequisite installer (As Administrator) a results screen is displayed stating there was a configuration error during the installation of the Application
Server Role, Web Server (IIS) Role. It also says that the installation of Microsoft WCF Data Services 5 was skipped.
I manually added the Application Server Role.
I have manually installed WCF Data Services, which was successful.
I have used this page
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2765260/en-gb to try and get around the Application Server and IIS Roles error. The hotfix quoted on that page is not applicable to this system. I had to run a DISM command to create an image from the OS installation media
before the Powershell commands would work.
Next, I rebooted the server and ran the prerequisite installer again as recommended. However, exactly the same problems are reported.
Can anyone help me with this, please?

SharePoint is not supported to be installed on a Domain Controller (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2764086). You'll need to find another server.
But regardless, with SharePoint 2013, you need SharePoint 2013 with SP1 in order to install on Server 2012 R2.

Field in data file exceeds maximum length

Hi,
I am trying to run the following SQL*Loader control job on my Oracle 11gR2 . Running the SQL*Loader control job results in the ‘Field in data file exceeds maximum length’ error message. Below, I am listing the control file.Please Suggest. Thanks
