MBP fully charged...But won't turn on... no chome or fan sounds...Help?

a Mid 2010 MBP... Wont turn on Tried resetting SMC and no luck... the computer won't respond to the power button

took it to the Genius Bar at Apple Store, logic board was destroyed (unknown mechanism). Sent it off to the "apple depot" (not in store repair as my early 2008 MBP is now too old) and for $300+ and 5-7 business days, it's back. Seems to be working?

The screen that you see is trying to tell you to connect the iPad to iTunes on your computer with the cable that came with it. ITunes will then walk you thru the setup steps. Make sure you download the latest version of iTunes before you connect your iPad.

The battery's probably drained and the power brick on the fritz. Unfortunately, if she won't start there's little we can do for software-based diagnosis. You'll have to take it in to a Store or Service Provider for assessment.

IPhone 5 won't start up, shows that it's charging but won't turn on.

I've had my iPhone 5 for a year and a half now and recently the battery has been having issues.
Last night my phone reached 19% and turned off as if it had no charge left at all, and when I tried to plug the phone in to charge, the battery symbol showed up on the screen, but the phone still hadn't turned on. The phone has been left to charge overnight and it still won't turn on, I've tried holding the home and the power button at once for a few seconds but nothing works.

Hold the POWER and HOME buttons until an Apple logo appears. If you have held them for 30 seconds and nothing has happened your phone has a hardware problem, possibly a failed battery. Battery charged but won't turn on

When the ipod is connected to the computer, I can see the menus, scroll through everything. But one I disconnect it from the computer...NOTHING. can't get it to turn on, reset, nothing.
When it iis connected to the computer I can see the battery is fully charged.
What is wrong? and can it be fixed?

I had this problem. Apparently there isn't a way to fix it. Luckily it was under warranty so i got a free replacement.
I hope yours is still under warranty

It sounds like you are having issues with charging your iPhone. I would suggest that you use the steps in this article to troubleshoot -

Specifically -
Resolving issues
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

I've tried a hard reset by pressing and holding both the power button and the home button on numerous occasions for different durations, and nothing. I've tried to plug it back into an outlet, and nothing. I tried plugging into my Macbook and iTunes doesn't even read the phone, still nothing. My phone was fully charged when I took it off of the charger (around 1:50 a.m.) Sunday morning, November 7, 2010 (daylight savings) and I'm not sure if that could be the issue. Please help.

Hi Ive just had the same problem,I was playing a gamy 'my farm' & i put my iphone 4 down to answer door then when i picked it up the iphone was black screen & no power,i did plugin to itunes & the wall plug but nothing,then i held the power & home buttons down for about 6 seconds & the apple logo appeared.I really freaked,its ok right now but im phoning my apple store becoz it had 77% battery so theres something wrong with this iphone 4.

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
if still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
I suspect you have a hardware problem.

My phone turned its self off for about 10 minutes, when it came back on it went from 84% to 18%. When I put in on the charger it shows the plug symbol as if its fully charged but the phone stays at 18%, and now it won't turn on.

I'd suggest taking it to apple. Warranty or no warranty.

First try a hard reset, press and hold the power button and home buttons until the phone restarts and displays the Apple Logo, then let go.
If that doesn't work...
Try forcing recovery mode and then restore with iTunes.
