Me and my husband share an apple id, messages are coming through on my phone that I have not sent and my husband is denying sending. Is this possible?
Me and my husband share the same Apple ID
I logged onto my Mac book and the messages popped up, it shows all messages sent from my phone and my husbands.
There are some random conversations in there that I didn't send and my husband is denying.
How do I (a) see what phone sent these, and (b) is this possible to not be either of us?
You cannot see what phone/device sent the iMessages, unless you look at that particular device and they have not been deleted from the device.
Anyone with access to the Apple ID & Password can send iMessages on that Apple ID from an iMessage capable device.

My text messages are coming through out of order! I have checked the software and the time setting is on automatic!! Very frustrating... any other advice??
When reception allows the iPhone sends and receives the messages, this is also dependent on the reception of the other phone you are communicating with. If you really feel you have a problem, contact your Carrier about the problem.

I have just had an iPod mini but my messages are coming through on my iPad and my iPhone how can I stop this happening ? Do I need to reset my iPad ?
To prevent messages from reaching both devices you can turn off Messages on the device you do not want to receive messages but keep Messages on on the device you do want to receive Messages.
You might also look at this option for both devices.
Settings > Messages > Send and Receive > review the a riotous choices for how you can e reached and select the ones that are most appropriate for you and the device you are setting. -
I want to set up my mac so that once the emails from hotmail have been received, read AND deleted on my iPhone, they don't pop up on my macbook when I get home (and visa-versa if I were to receive the emails on my mac first). Can anyone help, please?
There's SO much to learn from the manual. This tip helped. And since this was an older message, I should say that I have a 5c iPhone now, but the messages here still apply. I didn't realize you could turn it off without deleting the account.
Until there's a time when you don't have to mark every single message, one at a time to delete them, instead of a "delete all" or some similar command, then I've turned my mail off on both my iPad and iPhone. I only check mail on those when I'm on vacation and away from my home computer, and I've learned what a mess it was with hundreds of messages being downloaded. Apple has to do better with that delete message function. One at a time seems primitive. Otherwise, I'd leave the Mail App on. -

My husband and i have our iphones set up. He is getting all my text messages that are coming through to my phone, how can i elminate this problem? Does it have anything to do with out icloud?
Well, you use the different accounts such Phone Numbers, email addresses. And make sure that your iPhones have no receipient address in common, then you can avoid this issue.
I use iMessage on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iPod touch.
Each of them has a individual address to receive messages, so they won't combine all the messages among all the devices.
Try this, if it doesn't work, tell me, I'll figure another way out. -
I need to talk to someone about charges to my credit card that I have not authorized and cannot get to anybody. I have never been so frustrated in my whole life!
First point of call is to contact your credit card company and put the items in dispute.
Next you need to change your iTunes password.
Next use the following form to contact Apple as they do not have a phone number for iTunes issues:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html?form=account&topic=iTunes%20Sto re%20Account%20and%20Billing&subtopic=Account%20Security -
TS1646 I am being charged for something i have not purchased and i would like to stop being charged
I have been charged for things that i have not purchased and i would actually like my money back from them or for you to figure out who is using my card to buy things.
thank youWe are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
You've checked your account's purchase history : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727 ?
And you haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098 ?
If they show on your accounts purchase history and you didn't make them, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and made them, then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If nothing shows on your account's purchase history then you may want to contact your card issuer. -
My husband shares my Apple ID but now I see that this causes problems. So how can he get his own Apple ID for his device?
I agree that having separate Apple IDs is a good idea. It helps keep things from getting confused between two user who might have different needs and wants on their devices.
You husband should save and backup to a computer all the files, photos and music that he wants to keep. He should also save any files created with the apps on his device. Once that is done he can use the Settings app to erase his device.
Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings
He can then set up his device as new and create an Apple ID for himself. Once the device is up and running he can purchase and/or download the apps he wants and sync with a computer to restore the photos, files, etc.
To make syncing easier, with two Apple IDs, I suggest that you each use a different computer to sync with OR you have separate accounts on one computer. This way there will be two separate iTunes libraries and syncing with each will be straightforward. -
I used to share one apple ID/account with my ex but made a new one for myself recently and logged out of the old one but when I try to update my iBooks (only happens with this app)it asks for the other account's password(which my ex changed by now). I don't understand why this happens when I'm logged into my account and it only happens with that app. Please help, I need to update. :/
Content (apps, music, ibooks, films etc) is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so if the iBooks app was downloaded using the account that you used to share with your ex then only that account can download updates to it. As it's a free app you could delete it and re-download it under your own account - and then re-download your ibooks into it (or copy the books to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them back to the app).

forgot my apple ID , and need a hint on my associated email so i can sent a reset password , and the worst thing in apple ID forgot password page that if you typed any apple id even if its wrong it gives you that email has been sent !! how come !!
so please if anyone got any idea of how to get the hint on the mail ( i used to remember there is a hint )If all you did was rename your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with your renamed ID. Deleting the account only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then choose Merge when you sign into the new account and turn your iCloud syncing back on to upload your data to the new account.
Before deleting the account, save you photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll). -
My i phone 4s calendars have not been automatically syncing to my i cloud calendars. I have noticed my phone apple ID is the primary one and my i cloud is using the secondary apple id. I am able to log into i cloud using both IDs. I believe the problem is the ID s are not the same on each. I believe if I change my i cloud ID to the primary ID it will fix the issue but I can't figure out how to change it.
To do this you will have to go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and delete the secondary account (this only deletes it from your phone, not from iCloud). Then go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account to delete the primary account. Next sign into your former secondary account ID in Settings>iCloud, making it the primary account. If you wish, you can then go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and add the former primary account as your secondary account.

I have numerous music movie clips that I have not purchased through iTunes, Is it possible to stream these "home" movies using iTunes to apple TV?
And if iTunes will not allow it, is there another complete program available that I can purchase to have my music movie clips stream to a TV and/or another computer?
Any help would be appreciated. ThanksThanks, Winston C, I've actually tried everything you suggested. I'm thinking now that the Home Sharing problem likely is related to Bonjour--I've seen several people mention this with similar (but not identical) problems. The solution that seems to work for some people is to uninstall and reinstall Bonjour. Frankly, I don't want to go through the trouble given that the iOS 7 release is imminent.
One thing that I haven't tried is resetting the ATV to factory settings. I'll give that whirl.
Thanks for your advice!
