ME5A - ALV

Dears,
While running ME5A report using ALV, the delivery date is not coming properly, i.e., it is coming as '20090722'. What should be done so that it displays properly, such as '22.07.2009'.

Hi,
Since your Date Format in your user profile is in other format that's why you are getting
error message.
For this,you have to change your DATE FORMAT into this DD.MM.YYYY format.
You can change thru anyone of these two ways as explained below:
1..T.code:SU3>Goto Defaults Tab>Change Date Format into DD.MM.YYYY format>Save>Logout-->Again Login.
2..Login SAP->Goto Menu Bar>Select User Menu>Again Goto Menu Bar>Select System Menu-->Goto USER
Profile>Select OWN Data>Goto Defaults Tab-->Change DATE FORMAT into DD.MM.YYYY
format>Save>Logout-->Again Login.
important point is that once you save setting by anyone paths,have to logout and then login Otherwise settings will not be reflecting.

We had performed configuration SPRO> Materials management-> purchasing> reporting>maintain pur.list->scope of list->define default values for transaction to set ALV as default scope of list for a number of transactions.
It is all okay for transactions: ME2B, ME2C, ME2J, .... ME3B, ME3C, ME3J, ME3K, ME3L, ME3M. But for ME5A / ME5J / ME5K, the default of scope of list became "A" (3-line + n special) instead of "ALV" even the configruation had been done.
How can we solve this? Thanks.

For T-code ME5A / ME5J / ME5K Configuration path is Materials management-> purchasing> reporting-->maintain PURCHASE REQUSTION LISTS --->define default values for transactions to set ALV as default scope of list.

Define Scope list and additional fields in ALV report

Dear Network Members.
My client want to enhance the screen for releasing the PR. He needs ALV GRID report. The report should contain following fields
Document Type: Quantity Requested: Purchase Requisition: Delivery Date: Item of Requisition Material Group: Acct Assignment Cat.:,Plant: Requisitor;Purchasing Group: Short Text:;Stocks Fields,Own Stock,Consignment Stock,Project Stock,Total Stock, Unrestricted,use,Reserved,Blocked,Qual. I have created ZALV in Define scope of list also defaulted to transaction ME5A.
Pls. let me know how I can bring Stocks Fields" Own Stock,Consignment Stock,Project Stock,Total Stock, Unrestricted,use,Reserved,Blocked,Qual. Inspection,Total Stock." in the report.

You can obtain these fields from MMBE. or you can run a Querry in SQ01/SQ02 to pull records from SAP infostructures.

ME5A- report..?

hi all
While executing the report using ME5A- r-purchase requisition report.
In transaction ME5A,
If i use A in scope of list ,its showing the all PR list including the PO converted PR and Not edited PR list.
But if i select ALV, it showing only the PR list not edited and what abt PO created PR list.
WHy this problem in ALV if i select in scope of list.

Scope of list is customizing, so check yours and compare your 2 scopes.

ME5A Scope of list

Hi all,
I would like to know if the SAP scope of list u201Cu201DALVu201Du201D could be made available in transaction ME5A.
We are using Release 4.6C
At the moment if we run ME5A the system will list open requisition in a certain format which makes it very difficult to review and to download
Is there any way in the standard ME5A transaction to display the list output in a ALV grid format?

Check the path SPRO-> Materials Management -> Purchasing ->Reporting ->Maintain purchasing list->Scope of list ->Define scope of list.
Select the scope of list and click on the details button. At the bottom, you can see field Use ALV grid control. Check the box and save.

ME5A Report - Request for Help

Dear All,
I am working on the Report (ME5A) - Purchase Requisition List. I have completed the following items, viz,
a) Additon of Two more fields MRP Type and Lot Size in the Screen Input.
b) Appended the structure MEREP_OUTTAB_EBAN with the above two fields in order to get that in ALV layout.
Now I am stuck up in the place - to populate this field. I debugged it lot and not able to identify it.
Can some one give me a hint on a Function / place where this can be updated.

Your really helped me. However, i would like to add some points :
1:   When you enhanced PR screen using MEREQ001 enhancement, and adding your customer field in CI_EBANDB include, then this field automatically becomes part of MEREP_OUTTAB_EBAN structure. Hence, no additional Append to MEREP_OUTTAB_EBAN is required.
2:   Secondly, while enhancing function exit "EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_003" in MEREQ001 enhancement, you can code to save new fields' data in DB. E.g. use this code:
data : l_mereq_item type mereq_item.
if not im_req_item is initial.
   l_mereq_item = im_req_item->get_data( ).
     if ( CI_EBANDB-ZZNEWFIELD ne l_mereq_item-ZZNEWFIELD ).
        move CI_EBANDB-NEWFIELD to l_mereq_item-NEWFIELD.

Doing this will display the new column in ME5A!

Scope of list ALV not defined

I copy program RM06BA00 (transaction ME5A) to Z program.
when i run the z program and change the parameter scope of list to ALV i get the message
Scope of list ALV not defined .

i got the problem
in fm
ME_REP_GET_TABLE_MANAGER --> l_factory(object) -->im_service(variable)
l_active = l_factory->is_active( im_service = l_service im_scope = im_scope ).
im_service variable has programe name, im_scope has "ALV" . then it execution goes in case statement where it checks the im_service with standard prog name.
as in case im_service has zprog, so it doesnt go to any when case and hence the prob.
any sugesstion..?????

How to activate 'AFS Details' Button in ME5A screen.

Hi Gurus,
This is related to AFS Material Management.
In my system the button called 'AFS Details' is missing on ME5A ( List display of Purchase Requisition) screen.
This button appeares when you run T.code ME5A after giving your selection parameter.
This button helps to show the quantity of material in Grid Level. But currently when I am executing after giving the selection parameters the button is not displayed, even from command line 'AFS Detail' is greyed out.
Can you please tell me which SPRO set up / other setting can bring back that button.

Please try the following steps:
1) Go to transaction OLME.
2) Open Reporting -> Maintain Purchasing lists -> Scope of list.
3) Click on 'Define Scope of list'.
4) Select 'ALV' and click on Details button.
5) Select the 'AFS data' option, save and activate.

Button "Print Preview" is different - ME5A

Hi guys.
Hello I'm from the area of Basis, and I do a silly question.
The MM functional consultant wants to know why the Print Preview button previously showed a sheet with a magnifying glass, now shown with two boxes with an arrow.
They were used whenever the button was Print Preview to the previous button.
This I can customize??
We have ECC 6.0 with EHP4. I´m check other system with an ECC 6.0 version and has the correct button.
This happens in the report ME5A when used with ALV list

Regarding your question:
Are you saying that the two buttons with the arrows both functions as Print Preview?
I have only one button for Print Preview with the arrows. The functional MM says that this is not the correct button. The right button is available in other reports of SAP
Did the MM guy test what these arroes do?
The button with two arrows is working properly to see the print preview report, but users were used in different versions of SAP was the other button to see the print preview
Do not know if this change is standard for SAP ECC 6 version EHP4.
In ECC 6.0 is correct the button.

Open Field in ALV Report

Unable to capture data in an editable dynamic ALV.

Hi ,
I have created a dynamic editable ALV whose displayed structure can be changed at runtime based on the selection in a drop down list value selector.
Im trying to capture the values entered in the ALV into an internal table before the user changes the structure of the ALV to a different structure.
In the ON_SELECT event handler of the drop down list box , im rasing a data_check event to capture the ALV data.
The problem is that the control is not entering the event handler for the data_check event.
If i raise the data_check event in my save event handler or any other event handler , it works fine.
Can someone please suggest a solution.

'@' not getting displayed in the ALV report

Hello,
I am facing a strange issue in the ALV report display. A string starting with '@' is not getting displayed and says "default icon " on the report. and this is varying from system to system for the same user.
can anyone please help me in resolving the issue.

@ is a default value as per ALV internal process. This is used in icons .
I think this is causing the confusion.
Check in the fieldcat if there is any adjsutment to be made to handle this.

Vendor open items wise ALV Grid Display (FBL1N) report to Excel Sheet

Hi All,
I need vendor wise open items and cleared items in ALV Grid format in excel sheet.
I'm Trying that in T Code FBL1N, After the execution. I had select ALV Grid format like this From the menu bar->Settings-> Switch list.
After that i get ALV Grid format, Then i'm doing export the data to excel sheet. like this From the Menu bar->List->Export->Spread sheet.
That time i'm getting Error Message no. 0K064, Filter criteria, sorting, totals and subtotals are not taken into account.
I want vendor wise sorting totals and subtotals,
How can i over come this Error please let me now.

Report for CRM-Opportunities - Open CRMD_ORDER for selected ALV row

Hello,
i created a report which can be used to find the relevant opportunities and list them in a ALV table.
I have the requirement that by doubleclick on the table line the selected opportunity shall open in tx crmd_order.
I have the GUID and the object_id of the opportunity in my ALV tableline.
Has anybody already experience how to achieve this?
