Measurment Studio 2015 Installer Builder not packaging Analysis.Professional DLL

My application uses the MS Anaylsis package which I want included in the Installer Builder installation setup. I have checked the "NI Measurement Studio Anaylysis .NET language runtime 2015 for .NET 4.5" in the NI Driver Section.
After running the installing on a clean build Win8-64 machine my application generates a "could not find assembly error" for "NationalInstruments.Anaylsis.Professional, Version 13.0.45.242".
Close examination of all available libraries does not suggest there is a more appropriate library to include in the build. My installation builder is for a mixed environment but my application is built as x64.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

On your deployed machine, can you check the following directory and take a screenshot?
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\NationalInstruments.Analysis.Professional
It is possible this is happening because your application was built against the 13.0.45.242 version of NationalInstruments.Analysis.Professional, but the NI Measurement Studio Analysis .NET Language Runtime installer intalls the 15.0.45.49153 version. If that is the case, you can do one of two things:
(Recommended) Rebuild your application against the 2015 versions of the Measurement Studio .NET assemblies before re-deploying using the 2015 runtime installers.
Create an application configuration file which redirects NationalInstruments.Analysis.Professional 13.0.45.xxxx to 15.0.45.49153.

I would like to add a shortcut to be installed on the users Desktop which when double clicked opens up Explorer on the installation created directory. Is this possible in this version of the Installer Builder?

Unfortunately, I believe the Installer Builder is currently only able to add shortcuts to files rather than folders.

Lightroom cc 2015 installation will not run

Just upgraded to lightroom cc 2015 using creative cloud (from existing lightroom 5.7.1). The new installation executes, apparently installs the files, but the application will not run. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling - no difference. windows 7 x64. Any suggestions?

Have you tgried- Lightroom doesn't launch or closes automatically after splash screen

Exe file will not start using a Measurement studio 2013 component

Hello,
I use Meausrement studio 2013 with visual studio 2012 and vbnet on windows 7.
On a new project (windows form application), i use a form and a ScatterGraph component. I compile, no errors and it works fine.
Now, i try to start this application on a another Windows 7 station. (The framework 4.5 is installed on its station).
The exe file is in a directory with the natrional Instruments dll files.
The exe file will not start, no errors.
PS: Before, with Meausrement studio 2010 and visual studio 2010 all worked fine.

It sounds like you are using the "Publish" feature in Visual Studio (a.k.a., ClickOnce) for deployment, is that correct? If so, unfortunately ClickOnce is not supported by Measurement Studio components.
If you are looking for a good way to deploy Measurement Studio applications, I would highly recommend upgrading to Measurement Studio 2015, which ships with Measurement Studio Installer Builder. You can read more about this here: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/52669/en/

Measurment studio will not recognize LabWindows/CVI installation?

It order for me to use the Driver factory program to make a DLL, the program requires that LabWindows/CVI version 5.0 or greater be installed. Version 5.5 was installed first and Measurment studio does not recognize it. After installing the DAQ software, MAX does recognize both LabWindows/CVI and Measurment studio. Help!

What the IDF does, is
(1) Look for the installation of CVI in the registry under HKLM/Software/NationalInstruments/CVI/xxx. "xxx" being the version number.
(2) If there are multiple CVIs on the machine, IDF uses the highest version number of CVI located i.e.if you have
HKLM/Software/NationalInstruments/CVI/5.0
and HKLM/Software/NationalInstruments/CVI/5.5 it will pick 5.5.
(3) IDF will then look up the installDir key under this folder.
If either of (2) or (3) fails, you get the message you've been seeing.
So what do you see under that registry location ? Is the registry version folder, or the installDir key missing?
It is possible that the machine had installed a higher version of CVI , then uninstalled, but the folder a
nd key is still there, so you have a key with a higher version of CVI, with the installdir key pointing to a "" value, instead of a valid path....
If things do appear fine in the registry, then please reconfirm the software you have installed, as i under stand it, you have CVI 5.5, then installed MesurementStudio 6.0 ? I can try to then reproduce this.
I sincerely apologize for all the trouble that you have been having...I hope this makes things little clearer and hopefully we can get you started soon..
With regards to the other thread that you pointed to , it's possible that the evaluation CD did not install all the registry keys or installed them to a different location, or the user, did not install CVI at all...

Unable to Build VC++ application it showing error 1 LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'NiFieldPoint71D.lib' but I am Using Measurement Studio 2009

I am Migrating a application in Visual Studio 2005.
In my development PC I install the Measurement Studio 2005.
my application is Showing following error:

In the project Setting I am done following setting
"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2005\VCNET\Lib";"
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Lib"
but in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2005\VCNET\Lib";" directory Not having the 'NiFieldPoint71D.lib' because Measurement Studio 2009 not provide this dll.
Please provide some solution.

Install script is not executed during installation of homemade package

I'm working on my first PKGBUILD for the AUR, trying to create a package to install dphys-swapfile on Arch.
Here are the files that I'm using to create this package:
PKGBUILD
dphys-swapfile.install
dphys-swapfile.service
The installation of dphys-swapfile as specified in the PKGBUILD works perfectly, i.e. it is actually installed to the right location and you can use it without any problems at all.
The systemd unit file is copied to the right location as well and you can enable and start the service with systemctl.
The problem arises with the install script. I wrote dphys-swapfile.install so that the service would be automatically enabled and started right after the installation of the package, but this is not working, i.e. the service is neither being enabled not being started, and I don't know what is causing this issue.
Any insight on what could be failing, as well as general tips on how to improve this package, will be very much appreciated.

It looks like presets are the appropriate way to do this:
systemctl preset is used by the post install scriptlets of RPM packages (or other OS package formats), to enable/disable specific units by default on package installation...

Howdy Biswajit,
The IMAQ and Vision ActiveX controls you are using with Visual Basic 6 do not install with Measurement Studio. They are installed when you install the IMAQ software and include support for Visual Studio 6. Upgrading to Measurement Studio 8.0.1 will have no effect on your IMAQ controls since they are not related to one another. Purchasing Measurement Studio Professional or Enterprise packages allows you Visual Studio 6 support for other ActiveX components. Refer to this link for a list of ActiveX components included in those packages.
If you are asking about using the ActiveX controls in .NET, then take a look at this KnowledgeBase entitled Do NI-IMAQ and NI Vision Support Microsoft Visual Studio .NET?

LV8,5 Dev Suite install, error "Measurement Studio for VS2003 not installed""

Hi guys,
Installing LabVIEW 8.5 Developers suite, installed LV8,5 OK, but all otehr products (CVI, Studio, etc) come up with error messages as per attached photo, "measurement Studio for VSXXXX not installed"
When should I have installed this ? which DVD has this ?
Any help apreciated

Do you want to install Visual Studio, CVI, etc.? It looks like you are running the device drivers DVD, and must have told it to install All device drivers, rather than just the ones it determined you needed when it scanned your system. So when it tries to install the device drivers for VS and CVI et al, it can't find that software on your PC. If you want that software, they would be on other CD's in your Developer's suite package. Install that, then run the Device Drivers DVD again.
If you only want to install Labview, rerun your DVD for your device drivers again, and only install the features that it wants. I find the device drivers DVD takes a long time to initialize, and I believe that is because it is scanning your PC to detect what other National Instrument products you have installed so it can populate the list of what drivers you need to install.

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

Build error :package com.sun.javadoc does not exist

Question from a Turing machine expert who is new to Java.
Trying to run a sample program from Richardson's book "Java JDK 5 Edition" Chapter 1.
In Netbeans 5.5 receive build error :package com.sun.javadoc does not exist
for "import com.sun.javadoc.*;"
Believe missing classes are in tools.jar in C:\Sun\SDKee5SDK\jdk\lib
How do I define this to Netbeans and/or JDK?
Using java_ee_sdk-5_01
and netbeans-5_5-windows downloads.
Platform is XP.
Netbeans has been updated to date.
Appreciate.

How to use NiGraph control component in the MFC not measurement studio MFC??

I have attached an image of the toolbar items. If there items are not visible on your toolbar, right-click the toolbar, and select the item labeled "MStudio" (if using VC++ 6.0) or "NI-Measurement Studio" (if using VS 2003). These items will only be available if you have Measurement Studio support for C++ installed.
