Memory allocation error when burning in premiere elements 2

I have premiere elements 2. I happily burnt a version of my dvd then suddenly it stopped burning and I had the above message during the burning section of the process. My computer has adequate memory to run this programme and nothing new has been added. I then downloaded Premiere elements 7 as a trial and burnt this Dvd yesterday. However today it won't burn through 7 either so i am reluctant to upgrade unnecessarily. Can anyone shed light on why I receive this error message.
Other things seem to burn but I am beginning to receive messages that Adobe is low generally on memory allocation.

  • I am receiving the following error when launching Adobe Premiere Elements 13

    I am receiving the following error when launching Adobe Premiere Elements 13: Premiere Elements Debug Event Preferences.cpp-353 . I am running this on a Win 7 64 bit device on a Windows domain.  The user is not a network/local administrator.  Any ideas?

    Are you running the program from a Domain or Local Administrative type User Account? Apparently not Local Administrative by your description in the introduction?
    Last time we had this type of issue, the user was coming from a Domain type of account. The issue remains in that thread unresolved although there was some intervention
    by Adobe Staff.
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1638947?start=0&tstart=0
    Is yours a separate matter or are you related to the user in the other thread?
    Please review and consider, supply more details, and then we can decide what next.
    Thank you.

  • "Memory Allocation Error" when Building a DVD

    Hi all!
    I have a problem. When I start to build a DVD. Encore stops with a "memory allocation error". The project I tried to build is 3.06 GB, so it's must fit to a simple DVD. My HDD has enought free space.
    I tried to build it on two totally different computers but the error is the same. I didn't find any answer for this error. Can anybody help me?
    I use Encore CS4, and the project is made in Premiere Pro CS3.
    The computer #1:
    Windows Vista (but I tried also with XP)
    1 GB RAM
    250 GB HDD
    The computer #2:
    Windows Vista
    2 GB RAM
    160 GB HDD

    I get the same! I was having an issue with video files from my digital camera, so I opened up Premiere CS3, which took them in and encoded them to MPEG-2 just fine (tisk-tisk! Premiere and Encore CS4 both failed to play them or encode them properly!!!)
    Them I put these MP2 files into a project which has 2 menus, 4 video timelines, 2 slideshows with 200+ images and some background audio files (one linked to a menu, another plays in sequence after first finishes). The project is for PAL screen, and it is 4-some Gb, but less than a disk. I have 4Gb of RAM and 6Gb of page file, 70Gb free on my HDD. Running Vista Ultimate x64.
    Slideshows render, and videos do not require transcoding, so the project is ready to build, it starts writing the ISO file, and crashes after 1.8-1.9Gb is written.
    There seems to be no easy way to re-create my slideshow, or I would have just re-built the entire Encore file to see if that would work.
    My PC is overclocked, I admit, I have not tried it without an overclock, but my system has been uber-stable for 12+ months! I will try and report if it fixes anything, but I doubt it. I have also tried to run this build after a fresh reboot with mostly everything turned off, to prevent system conflicts. If that's what it is, I must have missed something. But Encore CS4 is BUGGY LIKE GOD KNOWS WHAT!!!!! This is one crash I can't get around, but it's not the only one I've had. If anyone knows an answer, PLEASE post it here! Adobe guys please please please please! My project's already held up for a month!

    When you click on that link, it should open to a thread with a discussion on troubleshooting the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error situation. Did the link not open. It seems to be working. Please try clicking the link again and let us know the outcome.

  • PSE8/PRE8 device error when burning DVD

    When trying to burn a DVD using PSE8 and PRE8 in Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and now in Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, PRE8 stops at 96% burn and gives me "Device error - the target device isn't suitable for use."  The DVD will run on the computer and the slideshow stops just short of the end.  The DVD will not run on DVD player/TV.  I had no such problems using PSE6/PRE4 on Vista setup.  Suggestions?

    Hi rqferq
    There is a separate forum here for Premiere Elements and because the error you are describing would occur when running under Premiere Elements, I recommend that you post your question at

  • Encore - Memory Allocation Error - With Dynamic Link

    CS4 using Vista
    The process (AdobeEncore.exe *32) gets stuck at 959,736K while 6GB is available.
    In the past I have built many DVDs using a Dynamic Link from Encore to Premiere Pro.
    Now they all end in errors: Memory Allocation Error & Unable to Create Image Buffer.
    I monitored the process in the Windows Task Manager.
    The memory use for the (AdobeEncore.exe *32) process grows until it reaches  959,736K.
    The memory use stops there but the process continues for a while and then Encore stops with the errors.
    I guess is that (AdobeEncore.exe *32) has become limited to 1GB but the is plenty of memory available.
    I can Import a file and make a DVD without using the Dynamic Link.
    Thanks

    Was probably a hardware issue.

  • Memory allocation error with disk image

    I'm having recurring problems with a large encrypted sparseimage that I mount at /Users (an arrangement I prefer to FileVault.) The file contains one journaled HFS+ partition. Every so often, open files on the volume vanish or become unwritable. At the same time, I get a long series of messages in the system log of the form
    kernel[0]: disk4s2: memory allocation error.
    There's plenty of memory available. When this happens, I have to log out all staff users, then unmount and remount the image. When I do so, fsck finds corrupted i-nodes, which it's able to repair. All is then well for a few days, except that the files that were affected when the problem occurred are gone and have to be replaced. I've tried the obvious things many times: creating a new image file from backups, deleting kernel caches, etc.
    This looks like a bug in the HDI driver. I'd be thankful for genuine insight from anyone who actually knows something. Responses such as "Repair permissions" or "Reinstall Mac OS X" aren't needed. Thanks.

    Was probably a hardware issue.

  • Targetdataline.stop() causes memory alloc error

    Hi,
    Im trying to run a Thread that records Audio when I press a button. I have no problem starting the thread, but I cannot seem to stop it without receiving memory alloc errors. Im try to stop is using targetdataline.stop followed by targetdataline.close .
    I am running Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_29-b11-402, on Mac OS X (I am also using Netbeans IDE 7.1)

    dataLineInfo = new DataLine.Info(TargetDataLine.class,audioFormat);
    targetDataLine = (TargetDataLine) AudioSystem.getLine(dataLineInfo);
    audioInputStream = new AudioInputStream(targetDataLine);

    Thanks,
    Lucas

    It seems to happen after the close() .
    I tried moving the targetdataline.close() at the end of run() function (after the AudioSystem.write() ), but no such luck.
    public void run(){
    try {
    AudioSystem.write(audioInputStream, Type.WAVE, soundFile);
    catch (IOException ex) {
    Logger.getLogger(AudioThread.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
    targetDataLine.close();

  • Power calibration error when burning?

    I get a power calibration error when burning from IDVD.
    Any suggestions as to how to fix it?

    Basically a power calibration is the drive writes to the blank and then tries to read it back and adjusts the laser power accordingly to get a proper burn. So there are a number of reasons you might get this problem.
    One is the media itself. A bad disc or poor quality media might give you this error.
    Next, you may have a dirty laser and running on of those cleaning CDs (they have little brushes on them to dust off the laser) might do the trick.
    Third, could be a laser on the drive is giving up the ghost. Hopefully it is not the last one.

  • Memory Allocation Error during Boot

    Hi,
    I am posting this on a different computer than the one on which I istalled Java because I can no longer get it to boot.
    Here's the history:
    I am working in Windows 98
    I added a line to the autoexec.bat so that the PATH lines looked like this:
    SET PATH=C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1
    PATH=%PATH%;"C:Program Files\Mts";"C:j2sdk1.4.0_02\bin
    I then rebooted and tried the javac and java commands in different folders and everything worked fine. I shut down the computer and tried to reboot a day later. The following are pieces of the message I received (I don't usually go near the autoexec.bat or system settings so I have no idea how to get past these errors, nor fix them):
    SET PATH=C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1
    PATH=C:WINDOWS;C:WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1;"C:Program Files\Mts";"C:j2sdk1.4.0_02\bin

    Please help!
    Thanks,

    General Protection Fault in C:WINDOWS\SCANDISK.ALT at
    0090:1921This shouldn't have been caused by the Java installation. As I understand the situation, at load time scandisk has been called. This is usually due to the computer not having been shut down properly, or a sign of real problems. However, scandisk is unable to run.
    You should try a forum/newsgroup for Windows for more help. My own suggestion would be to load to the command prompt (or try safe mode). (Press F8 during boot to get a menu.) And then run scandisk manually. If it works, try renaming the C:\WINDOWS\SCANDISK.ALT file and rebooting.

  • Unknown error when burning disc

    I get an unknown error when burning playlists to blank discs.  My computer begins to write the discs, but stops after a song or two.

    Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

  • Straight lines become zig-zag when viewed in Premiere Elements 11

    I am sure there's an easy answer to my problem but I can't seem to locate it. I am new to video editing and Premiere Elements 11. I have a Sony HDR-CX200 that I use specifically to record tennis matches. I have a recorded a tennis match in 1080i at 60i fps that was transferred from the camcorder to my Window 7 computer using Sony's PlayMemories software which creates a .m2ts file. When I viewed the .m2ts video in both PlayMemories and Windows Media Player the video looked great. I want to be able to view the video in HD on both computer monitor and tv.
    I imported the .m2ts file into Premiere Elements 11 using drag and drop.The file appeared to impotrt without any issue and the still pic looked good. However, when I pressed play the pic broke up. You can easily see this in the tennis lines which start out straight but when played they break into a zig-zag look. I have attached a short video that shows this problem. I want to be able to edit my tennis videos in Premiere because I've already just paid for it and it's suppose to be one of the best video editing programs out there.
    I have looked over discussions of interlacing but don't understand why the pic only looks bad when played in Premiere Elements and looks good in Windows Media  Player and Sony's PlayMemories. I wonder if there is some setting I am overlooking.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    So far, this is a guess.
    Viewing and playback of a video is a medium difficulty task for a computer.  Taking the same file into an editing situation is a high difficulty task.  Editing AVCHD video, is an extra high difficulty task for a computer.  It is doubtful you will work your computer harder doing anything else.
    The real time preview in the monitor during editing can be improved with what is referred to as "real time rendering".  You know when it is necessary when a yellow colored bar shows up above the time line.  When you see it, press Enter and wait a bit.
    Can you provide more information about the computer and how you got the short video to YouTube?  Also, how did you open the project?  And can you check what the project settings are?  The YouTube looks nothing like what I have uploaded using my two Sony camcorders.
    I think this is fixable.  Lots of people get great results from PrE11.

  • Memory Full error when using Main Report Preview in VStudio 2010

    Framework 4.0.30319
    VStudio 10.0.20.219.1
    SAP Version- 13.0.2000.0
    CR 2008 on local machine- 12.2.0.290
    I don't get memory full error when I run the report with my locally installed cr 2008.  If I go into my visual studio and do a main report preview I get memory full error.
    I get this error running same report in cr 2008- MochiKit is undefined.  An error has occurred in the script on this page.  file:///c:/Program%20(x86)Business%20Objects/Common/4.0/Crystalreportviewers12/js/crviewer/html.js
    I can get past that error and report works fine.  I can take the rpt file in vs2010 and it runs from the aspx page with the viewer.  But I ca't do a preview from the editing of the rpt file.
    Any way to trouble shoot where the memory problem is when doing a preview? Makes it really hard to test other dlls when it does this.

    Are you a Developer or QA or end user? Have you discussed this with your Developer at all? We seem to keep going around in circles. Your Developer should know what he did and how to deploy your app and CR assemblies and what to use.
    Subject line is VS 2010, CR for VS 2010 is the only version supported in VS 2010. CR 2008 doesn't have 64 bit runtime. therefore it's not an option, your WEB Servers app pool MUST run in 32 bit mode only if you are using CR 2008.
    "If I install the 64 bit version of SAP CR. Should the assembly change in the aspx files? different version number?" Nothing in your app, just deploy the 64 bit runtime and set your app pool to run in 64 bit mode.
    If you are using CR for VS 2010 then you can run your WEB server in 64 bit mode and use CR for VS 2010 64 redist files on your WEB server. Then all DB Drivers, Printers and anything else MUST be installed in 64 bit versions. This includes what ever dependencies your UFL has, they too must also support 64 bit platform.
    NO Additional requirements to be done or used for 64 bit WEB applciations, just requires IIS App Pool to be run in 64 bit mode and all dependencies available in 64 bits. ODBC DSN is created using the 64 bit ODBC Administrator, Printers support 64 bit applications.
    And your UFL and any of it's dependencies must be located in as well as GAC'd if it's required, once again check with your UFL developer:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64
    I suggest you purchase a support case and work with one of our Rep's to sort this out.
