Problem in Creating Implement Enhancements for the program

I am trying to create some checks on the data of HR table PA0001 before displaying data from table thru se11/se16/se16n ( I should not display the core department data as per the security policy), for this I am trying to create an enhancement in the program /1BCDWB/DBPA0001 to hide the data. But I am facing this error Objet PROG /1BCDWB/DBPA0001 cannot be enhanced, Software component unknown cannot be enhanced Exception Class : CX_ENH_IS_NOT_ENHANCEABLE , its not allowing me to create any enhancements. I am attaching the screen shots for the same. Please guide me how to proceed.

I confirm that not all development objects can be enhanced.
You'll have to do another way.
One thing I don't understand is why do you use SE16 to view PA0001?
And what do you want to hide, and what is the algorithm? (so that we may be able to help you)

in Tcode IW32, based on the user status(ASTTX), the menu items ,EXTRAS -> TASK LIST SELECTION -> all items have to be grayed out.
Please help me to find out BADI or menu exit which ever is available.

Enhancement for IW32 to make Operations & Components tabs data in display

Hi Experts,
Can you please help on this requirement which i am not able to acheive ?
I need to make the data of Operations and Components tab of IW32 only in display mode and user should not be
allowed to give any input or make changes.
I have tried with few relevant BADIs and Customer exits but not able to see the ouput since it is taking too mcuh of time
and throwing dump with timed out error. I am not sure whether issue with over load on server (Sandbox) or issue with BADI or Customer exit.
Those are , Badi: IW01_SCREEN_MODIFY and Customer exit: EXIT_SAPLCOIH_006.
Please suggest me if above are not correct .

In addition to the above comment.
You may want to use two TCode for you orders
- The standard IW32 where users can change the data
- Create a new transaction variant via TCode SHD0, and a new TCode (say ZIW32) for those users with restricted access (i.e. make certain fields display-only)
You then need to make the necessary authorisation changes

i want to know the table which stores the description of the table.
i having the TADIR(Directory of R/3 Repository Objects) which stores the data about a program but i want to have the description of the program also.
plzz provide me guidelines for getting the description of the program.

i am facing a problem during user exit.
when i am trying to change the code in function module (va01) in include zxvvau02
an error is occurred 'program name zxvau02 are reserved for includes of exit function group'
so i could not edit the include program.

1. Find the appropriate Enhancement.
2. Enter the ABAP code in the "Z" program within the function module.
3. Create a project.
4. Add the Enhancement to the project.
5. Activate the project.
At the step (2), when I double click on the Include ZX* within source code of the function module to realize the exit, the
system would prompt to create the include. But NO, it always prompt that the name of include is reserved by SAP and I
cannot create it... I entered an access key for the object ...

Help on error message: Naming convention for menu enhancements not observed

Hi all,
I was trying to enhance a transaction and got into entering function code without following naming conventions (i.e. function codes should start with '+'). It is not allowing me to change it by throwing an error "Naming convention for menu enhancements not observed".
This question was previously posted in the thread -- Re: Error in SMOD ?
which was not answered. Can you help me in resolving this error or revert my modifications that I have done while enhancing?

You shouldn't get this message if you just create the implementation. I feel that you are trying to change the definition part of the standard extension, using SMOD transaction. That's bad
If you want to enhance, create a project using CMOD transaction, enter the extension name, then simply double-click the +... function code and enter your text.

Copy control and program name for Sales Order to Delivery

Hi there,
In VTFL, at item level, there is a field called "Data VBRK/VBRP". Routine 001 & 007 are for invoice split. Those may be relevant for your case.
In VOFM, select data transfer --> billing docs in the menu bar. It will give you the requirement numbers & their description.
Select the required routine num & click on Source text (note pad icon) on the above. It will give you the prog / include names.
For eg for 001 its FV60C001, for 007 its FV60C007.

Program name in every context menu?

Hi,
I just noticed that many applications I use (Adium, iTunes, Cashbox, and SoulseeX, for example) now suddenly have their respective program names as the final item in their context menus. They don't seem to have any function, but are nevertheless are annoying to me. Anyone know what the cause of this might be, or if this is something new (and pointless) to 10.4.7?

I figured it out. It turns out I didn't properly uninstall DAP Plus (it has an uninstaller), and it didn't remove an item in Library/Contextual Menu Items.

hi .... plz i needed driver program name for delivery challan script : J_1I_57F4 . i tried to find it but since the output is displayed only from sp02 im unable to get its driver program name . i have to add certain fields in that form and corresponding logic in that form .

If u check the TNAPR table u will get the Driver Program as J_1I57FPN , allu have to do is to Activate the SAP SCRIPT DEBUGGGER and check the values and also in the driver program above and check whihc values are coming and not.

I am not getting the exact print program name for the dunning form F150_FR_DUNN_01 in sapscript. After an extensive search I have come across few names of print program like SAPF150D2 and SAPLF150. But still I am not understanding which one to use for the form and also how to use it. I am unable to understand which include I should use to write my code.

Yes, you should be able to assign F150_FR_DUNN_01 in Dunning Forms customizing:
and yes, I too would absolutely try to go for either a Smartform or even a PDF Form (if i'd have all the necessary setup for them, like Adobe Document Services, in the system already). I have Basis 702 SP 0011and FINBASIS 600 SP 0021, so all the following technicalities refer to those releases:
The corresponding SAP sample Forms are:
- F150_DUNN_SF for Smartform; and
- F150_DUNN_SF for pdf Form (don't let the name confuse you )
I'm not entirely sure if it's a good idea to try to convert/migrate Sapscript to Smartform and the Smartform to PDF Form - have never done that myself and don't know how good/usable the migration result is. I just take the interface of Smartform from SAP and do the rest from scratch or by copying over the common parts of our existing custom forms.
There are the SAP Standard wrapper FMs for SF and PDF forms already in the System:
- FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF calling PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SF and
- FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF calling PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF.
So, theoretically, all you had to do to replace SapScripts (or even to enable all three form types) is to assign a custom BTE Event handler FM to event 1720 (for correct Application), which could detect, what type of form is assigned in Customizing and call the corresponding wrapper FM.
As a sample for coding PDF form wrapper call one could take FI_PSO_EVENT_00001720_PDF (if you have IS-PS) in the system. I'd take out the IS-PS specific "business logic" like posting dunning charges (if it does not apply to my solution) and add the logic to decide, which wrapper to call.
The confusing part about the customizing (Table T047E) to me is that there seems to be no form type defined anywhere in there... just the FORNR field for form name, which should apparently take the names of all three form types... I'd try to extend that table with custom Form type field and try to regenerate Table Maintenance dialog for view Cluster VC_T047_F... That would save the whole effort to try to detect the type for form assigned...
Another tip, in case you didn't know it already: you should be able to see all the Customizing paths, where T047E is involved, when you enter table name in SM30 and press "Customizing" and then "Continue w/o Specifying Project":
The selected entry is the one you are looking for to assing your custom forms, I believe.

Yosemite 10.10.2 server app. FTP help. I have a program running in my local server enviroment that wants to FTP to my mac folder. It asks for the server , name, password, port and path. what are they?

So I have set up a localhost area in my Mac. I have the new server.app and I am running yosemite 10.10.2 .

I am pretty certain that the Serveris "localhost",
Name is my macs name (like my-mac-min)
password is "my login password"
and they suggest port 21.
But what is the file path, lets just say my site is set up http://localhost/siteftp and is actually at my Users/Sites/siteftp folder.
Why cant this program connect to the mac.
Is it because they are both operating in the same localhost enviroment,
could it be my folder permissions are not correct on siteftp folder?

I tried turning the computer off and then back on. The alerts don't show the notice to update as resolved. Hopefully this is not a problem or an indicator or another problem. Should I ignore or reload 10.10.1 from the app store to trigger a resolved check in a green circle?
Interesting that I had to buy server software after my free Yosemite download. I would have hoped that the two pieces of software would have gone together without any complication. It is not positive to end up buying a problem. Ah well, time to move on.

What is this Outward challan? what is its' equivalent SAP business document?
