Message folders split in 2 columns

Hi there,
I really need to be able to split my message folders column in 2 or 3, so I can see all the folders in one.
Does anyone found a way to do that?

Am experiencing this error in Microsoft SQL Server 2014 - 12.0.2000.8 (X64) Enterprise Edition (Build 7601: Service Pack 1).

The error message states a communication link failure has occurred.
This is most likely a network related error and usually is transient.
Try to generate the snapshot again and see if the error still occurs. If the error still occurs, you will need to have a network admin check the links.

Split char. Column to 2 columns in BEx

Hi Friends, is this possible in BEx?
I have data in DSO like this
Acc. Doc   G/L Account    Amount
101            41000001         $10
101            41000001         $20
101            71000001         $30
101            71000001         $40
In my BEx report. I want to split G/LAccount Column to 2 columns depending on account #
If G/L Account # is betn 41000000 - 41999999 ==> Rev. G/L account
If G/L Account # is betn 71000000 - 71999999 ==> Cost . G/L account
report output should look like below.
Acc Doc   Revenue G/L Account        Cost G/L account       Rev. Amount     Cost Amount
101                  41000001                           71000001                 $30                     $70
building a new DSO is not an option.

Alphabetize Bookmarks folders in the Bookmarks column

Could anybody tell me how to alphabetize Safari's bookmarks folders in the Bookmarks column other than doing it by hand one at a time???

SQL Message 207, Severity 16 - Invalid Column Name

The Config Manager 2012 system seems to be very sick with SQL Message 207, Severity 16 - Invalid Column Name messages in the Management Point logs. The column is populated by NULL values. The error message in the logs suggests I refer to the
Config Man, SQL, or Knowledge Base for further details. I've looked around but I'm not really sure if this is a "repairable" problem. Has anyone seen this before and can point me in the direction to a solution? The server is a standalone

Installed in September of last year. Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, SQL 2008 R2 SP2 (10.50.4000).
The text from the log reads:
Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 207, severity 16: [42S22][207][Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'Distinguished_Name0'.
Please refer to your Configuration Manager documentation, SQL Server documentation, or the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further troubleshooting information.
Followed by:
Discovery Data Manager failed to process the discovery data record (DDR) "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\auth\ddm.box\adsu9110.DDR", because it cannot update the data source.
Possible cause: On a Primary site, it is probably a SQL Server problem.
Solution:
1. Review the immediately preceding status messages from this component about SQL Server errors.
2. Verify that this computer can reach the SQL Server computer.
3. Verify that SQL Server services are running.
4. Verify that the site can access the site database.
5. Verify that the site database, transaction log, and tempdb are not full.
6. Verify that there are at least 50 SQL Server user connections, plus 5 for each Configuration Manager Console.
If the problem persists, check the SQL Server error logs.
Possible cause: On a secondary site, Discovery Data Manager probably cannot write to a file on the site server, so check for low disk space on the site server.
Solution: Make more space available on the site server.
As far as I can tell the services are running, there is no disk space issue, the server can access the database, not sure about the logs or the connections.

E-Mail Message Folders

I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 through AT&T. I recently upgraded the software on the phone and Desktop Manager to 4.5. Currently I have an e-mail account at att.blackberry.net. I also have a personal google mail account that I setup on my Blackberry. Those accounts seem to be functioning correctly on my Blackberry. I have two work e-mail accounts that I want sent to my Blackberry. Currently I have those two work e-mail accounts setup to copy every inbound message to my att.blackberry.net account.
Preferably I would like to setup individual accounts (folders) on my Blackberry for the two work e-mail accounts while removing the copying to att.blackberry.net. I have tried doing this on AT&T's Blackberry Internet Service website, but they keep identifying the mail server as IMAP4 when it is POP3. I cannot change this setting.
The other option is to leave my Blackberry as it is with the copies sent to att.blackberry.net and create e-mail message folders to filter the work e-mail messages to. Supposedly there is a way to do this via Blackberry Desktop Manager, but I keep looking for the E-Mail Settings in that software and I do not have that option.
What are your recommendations about how to proceed?

You have in your device the icon to setup mail?, you can add the accounts from this icon.

When opening messages on the phone ther is always a syncronise operation. Even when i delete messages, they are restored imediatly. When i do something else and return to the message folders, messages are again written to the phone. So after a few times, the phone memory becomes full.
Is there a way to inhibit that syncronisation so I can manualy copy the messages I like to keep to my PC ?

You can't stop the sync, it happens always as a kind of a refresh.
I always move the messages in PC (when phone is connected and I can see the inbox for example) to a special folder I have named "my old textmessages" and thus I still have all my old messages in PC, but the phone folders are not so full.

Can I set all folders to the same column with in Finder list view?

I set Finder to display 4 columns in list view: Name, Date Modified, Size, Kind. Is there a way to apply the width of those columns to all folders? Column width is not affected by the option "use as defaults" in the view options.

Mailbox Folders split on diff partitions

In Msg 6.3:
Will it be possible to split a mailbox such that some folders are on a different partition than the INBOX?
I'm looking for a simple way to put an archive folder off onto cheap storage without using "AXS-One Messaging Archiving", which I expect will be a little too pricy.

Just throwing this out there - and I should point out that SAM-FS is not supported for messaging server store (yet, nor is ZFS for that matter) but a combination of:

And using the store.partition.*.messagepath option to separate the *.msg message files on a separate SAM-FS (which can be on slower storage) from the store.idx files (which need to be on the fastest storage available -- but they are small(ish)) is an option.
I realise it doesn't address the use of the Archive folder, but this way all folders are covered which is much easier for an end-user perspective.
So if anybody has a spare thumper and is happy to try this out I would be really interested to know if it works.

You could try something like this:

You can add one more column for that..
while processing your internal table you can split the value for that column using offset..
DATA : FIELD_STR(10) TYPE C.
VAR1 = FIELD_STR+0(5) .
VAR2 = FIELD_STR+5(5) .
Now you can print this both VAR1 and VAR2 in seperate column.

Is there an easy view of assigned Retention Tags in main view of Messages, e.g. a custom column?

Hi,
I have a requiement to have an easy/overall view of assigned Retention Policy tags against a list of messages in outlook 2010.
I envisage that if there was a column in the main message list view, that showed the assigned tag against each message and that could be sorted, e.g. so I can see what has an assigned tag (and what it is) and what doesn't, this would hit the mark perfectly.
Any such capability?
Can I create a custom column that extracts a message property to do this?
If so, how?

Sorry it's been a couple of days, it's been busy.
Unfortunately not. I raised it with our devs to take a look at. I was initially after an assessment of effort. But they were quoting me a number of days effort just to get to the point of being able to tell me how long it would take. At that point I
pulled it, as it wasn't a must-have requirement.
Still, it would have been nice.
To extract such a property, I might imagine an Outlook plug-in to extract the data from the property and watchers to look out for changes in various circumstances. In this way if you can get the data into a new Custom Message Property, a Column
will readily display it. It feels a little over-engineered and duplicates the data just to get it into a place to show it.
Maybe there are easier ways. But no, I didn't make progress.

Based on your description, you want to split columns in source table into two destination tables.
After testing the scenario in my environment, we can use Multicast to achieve your requirement. Just as you said, the Multicast would return all columns. But we can use the method below to achieve the goal:
If the destination tables are existing tables, we can just map column A, B and D as Input Columns to the corresponding Destination Columns in the Mapping tab for destination A. Then map column A, C, D and E in destination B.
If the destination tables are created in the Destination component, we can modify the create table query to directly create A, B and D for destination table A, create A, C, D and E for destination table B. Then there columns would be automatically mapped
in the Mappings pane.
