Message "Invalid Login"

I have started to get "ftp transfer failed with message "Invalid Login"" yet it is the correct FTP Login? Any suggestion?

Karam - getting a little impatient? Sometimes we sleep at night.
Carl says you can change the div in your template to something like this:
< div class="t10notificantion" style="width:300px">
... with whatever width you like. That would be the place in the page template where it formats the notification message.

Invalid Login Credentials after a brand new install of APEX 2.2

I'm trying to install APEX2.2 for the first time to see what it can do.
I have followed the install document.
When I got ot here, http://localhost:7777/pls/htmldb
It requests a workspace, username, password.
back to the documentation, it states use http://localhost:7777/pls/htmldb/apex_admin
to create your workspace. And to sign in as admin, and the password passed into @apexins.sql When I try that, it results in the error message "Invalid Login Credentials" The documentation does not describe anything about that!

I had a cut and paste error in my last posting, I actually ran this:

I have a thought on why Ben and I both had this same "Invalid Login Credentials" issue. In my case it certainly wasn't because of any special characters in the password. I used apex as a password.
From reading Ben's post I see we both first had a problem with the images directory. Sounds like Ben had the same issue I had. Which was in the marvel.conf I first entered this
Alias /i/ "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_as\Apache\Apache\images"
instead of this:
Alias /i/ "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_as\Apache\Apache\images/"
This caused my http://localhost:7777/pls/htmldb URL to paritially work. I'm thinking that may be what caused the "Invalid Login Credentials" once I made the Alias adjustment.

I cannot upload photos from iPhoto 9 to Flikr. When I try, I get the message "the login details or auth token passed were invalid." I am using iPhoto 9 version 8.1.2, and my OS is 10.9.5. My computer is a MacBook Pro. I do not have this trouble with my iMac. This trouble started before I updated to OS10.9.5. I do not have this problem when uploading to FaceBook or sending by e-mail.
This problem started when I tried to upload some photos after hitting the "use other account" tab. This took me to a Flikr site asking me for permission to make my iPhoto information available to others. I clicked "yes," and then I changed my mind and clicked "no." I haven't been able to upload to Flikr since.
I searched Flikr and Yahoo for a solution, and Yahoo says the trouble is in iPhoto. I checked my Flikr account, and iPhoto extensions are enabled.
I need to upload some school and alumni photos, so I sure could use some help. I am Not computer proficient. Thank you.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

Translation of "Invalid Login Credentials" message

Your function can redirect to a page that shows the message you like. For example, if you wanted to redisplay the login page with the message, just do something like this:
owa_util.redirect_url('f?p=' || v('APP_ID') || ':101:' || v('APP_SESSION') || ':MSG' );
apex_application.g_unrecoverable_error := true;
return false;
Then adjust your login page so that a message appears if the "request" value is 'MSG'. The redirect_url shown above sets the request value to 'MSG'. Normally the login page would not show the message because that request value would not be present.

EssBase: Login fails due to invalid login credentials

I am currently running Hyperion System Planning 9, authenticating users through my LDAP server and am having a problem creating new users. I have gone through what I believe are the steps I need to take and have created my users but now when they try to login to EssBase, through the excel add-in, I get this message: "Login fails due to invalid login credentials"
I have searched the forums and the Essbase knowledge base and have come up empty. The only thing I have found is this:
"You just need to provision your shared services user with access to Essbase. Right-click on your user, select provision and then give them the required Essbase rights."
I have provisioned my users several times and made sure that they are added to the correct groups but they still can't log in.
Has anyone had this issue before?

1. Start the analytic Services
2. Star analytic Administration services.

Invalid Login Page

I have created a HTML portlet that accepts the portal user id/pswd and does a login. This works fine when the user correctly enters the information. If the user does not put in the correct user id/pswd, it bring them to the oracle default single sign on page. Is there a way to bring invalid logins to a different page (I want to display some help text/images) with a back button that return them to my login page?

Since customers review data twice in one day,and the time for loading and aggregating data is very long, so we adopt one 'SWAP' machanism .
For example:
It has one ESSBASE cube named 'Sales' and one SWAP cube named 'Sales_C'.
Sales Cube is used in production environment, and Sales_C Cube is used for loading and aggregating data, when the process will be finished, it will rename Sales Cube to Sales_C for loading and aggregating next time,and rename Sales_C Cube to Sales for using.
So our problem is that when ESSBASE do SWAP machanism , BIEE will generate the following error messages in NQServer log files as below, and users will look at error report .After click the refresh button below report, it will be OK. Why? How to solve this issue? Thanks.

BT Wifi Invalid Login - Broadband Customer

Hello.
I am a Total Broadband Option 3 Customer
I am using my @btinternet.com email adress and password (all correct)
I have been a customer for more than three years and have secondary @btinternet.com accounts too, which also don't work.
The account holder has changed hands since the broadband+phone account was created
When I try to log into Bt Wifi, or register for BT wifi, I get an invalid login credentials message.
When I try to "opt in" I get invalid login credentials.
All troubleshooting steps (Resetting passwords), using the app on android, IOS windows 8 or from the login page on any device or laptop fail to get me anywhere.

Probably because it was introduced before it became compulsory for everyone to carry a mobile device at all times. Extending it to sub accounts has often been suggested but there's been no discernable movement on that by BT.
I have a joint BT account with my partner, but can't use BT Wi-Fi as she has the primary email.
It's news to me that BT do joint accounts. If that's the case there's nothing to stop you using the primary account details on another device.

Invalid login after apex upgrade

I upgraded apex for Oracle XE to apex 3.2.1. Ran all the scripts and everything seemed fine. Ran the script to change the admin password that worked as well.
However when I go to either of the login pages(one that has the workspace and the one that has just username and password) from internet explorer
I keep getting invalid login credintials
I tried the below solution from the this thread How Gain Access When Locked Out of Developer Workspace
I keep getting 0 rows updated after running this
update apex_030200.wwv_flow_fnd_user set change_password_on_first_use ='N'+
where lower(user_name) = 'admin';
I even tried the update without the where clause and still got 0 rows updated.

Ok I got the admin user to work. However when I try to import an app I get this
"ORA-02291: integrity constraint (FLOWS_FILES.WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJ_FK) violated - parent key not found"
Error uploading export file."
I get this is i use an app from apex 2.1 or even when I tried to import the sample app I exported from 3.2.
I wonder if there is some type of permissions issue with the admin account since I created it manually I was not sure what to put in the fields...

Invalid Login Credentials

I am working on my application and can work on the pages but when I try and log in and run them I'm getting the "Invalid Login Credentials" message. It worked fine Friday and when I got to work this morning it wouldn't run. Any ideas? Help!

We are getting a blade in approx. two week which will be dedicated to Apex and I will be setting up the production environment. I'm curious about how to set up a development vs. production area and security issues as well. I think Craig and Ron will be here tomorrow and I'll broach the subject with them.

so you're trying to log into your migrated htmldb application and your application is returning an invalid username/password message? are you using the built-in "htmldb" authentication scheme for your application (that's the one that has a default description of "Use internal HTML DB account credentials and login page in this application.")? if so, your application would like you to use valid credentials for the workspace into which you installed your app. if you were hoping to use the same credentials on both your source and target instances, you'd have to migrate your workspace to your target instance and then install your app into it. after that you should be able to use the same credentials on both instances. if this isn't your issue, please tell us more about your apps authentication set-up.

I'm having the same problem, and the login and password is 100% correct.
The FTP is propely configured, but Muse are having problem with it. I can login throught a FTP session from a terminal session, and it also works perfectly with FileZilla or another FTP-client.
I have made some traces througth Wireshark, and it's clear the Muse made a sucessful login. But, fter the login Muse sends a request for UTF8 and gets an answer from the FTP-server that UTF8 is always enabled, and there is no need to send this command. Then Muse sends a TCP ACK, and the packet after Muse sends FIN, ACK. See a snip from the trace below...

This means that Muse disconnects AFTER a sucessful login, but give the user a faulty message saying "Invalid login or password" and not that Muse has disconnected because of another reason.

Reason: Invalid login information

I can log in to a database with administrator account, but not with an user account.
I am getting "Invalid login information" error message. What will be the likely cause for this?
I am using Winodws authentication.

Assure that the active directory or computer acount has been added to the instance of sql server for a log in. Go to :
1. SSMS object browser
2. Open the Security folder
3. Open the Logins folder
4. Assure that the user or group is within the folder
5. Go to the user database Secuirty folder
6. Open the Users folder
7. Assure that there is a user that is mapped back to the sql login
If the login or user is not present you can add them by right clicking on the appropriate folder and choosing Add Login/User.
You can also use DCL t-sql statement to do this. BOL lists the syntax under CREATE LOGIN.

Invalid Login Error LR3.3

After multiple attempts I'm thouroughly disenchanted with the LR3 FTP. It refuses to upload via FTP, regardless of how many times I try.
Filezilla happily uploads files using the same information (as did Dreamweaver prior to changing to FZ) - what gives with LR??
Personally the workaround suggested on sveral forums of exporting and then uploading are a stop-gap measure; if FTP upload is being offered, why isn't it working successfully?
I'm using an Intel Mac, Firewall accepted for LR, LR 3.3 64Bit.
Any ideas? So far all I've drawn is a blank.

LR set as Passive - have also tried Enhanced Passive, but same error message.
Have checked the port and also disabled the port, again same error message.
Also used SFTP as well, ditto.
The settings in Filezilla match the settings in LR, (the only difference I can see is that I have Autoselect for FTP or SFTP in FZ.)
Still getting "Invalid Login" error message.
I'm obviously missing something - I just can't figure out what.
