Message no. 06689 after document release and output

We have received the following message on a released purchasing document:
Purchasing document already outputted (release will not be changed) Message no. 06689
The scenario was that a purchasing document, which has already been released through standard release strategy, was then printed. The document was then changed, increasing the value by more than 10%, which should have re-triggered the release procedure.
Instead, the above message was posted.
We may have changes to documents after release after printing. What do we need to do to accomplish this?

Message you are getting as Release Indicator* set for PO for designing of Release Procedure of PO.
For your requirement you can use user exit or check to modify standard function module.
*NOTE:The Release Indicator are:
1-->Cannot be changed
2-->Changeable, no new determination of strategy
3-->Changeable, new release in case of new strategy
4-->Changeable, new release in case of new strat. or val. change
5-->Changeable, new release if new strategy/outputted
6-->Changeable, new rel. if new strat. or value change/outputted

Is there a way by which we can send a IDOC or any kind of message to external system when a document is released in GTS manually? I tried to search the blogs and it looks like no pointers on this. Any help appreciated.

Hi Vijay,
There's nothing standard, but you could use BAdI /SAPSLL/CUHD_RELEASE to add your own code. The Method R3_DOCUMENT_RELEASE is called for each document released by the manual "re-check" in GTS.

Deleted PO message reappearing in After PO release

Here is the way to simulate my problem
1) Call transaction ME21 Create new PO with high value so that it will go for release
2) Call transaction ME22 u2013 Output -> messages -> Delete PO output u2013> Select and delete O/p message
3) Go to ME 28 release PO
4) Now go back to ME23 and you can see the PO output message
My question : Why deleted PO output message is apeading again? Can some one help me here.

Sunil,
You are defying the whole purpose of Release Strategy.. Th Release inidcates final approval and release to the vendor. However you are deleting the O/p..
In order to delete the o/p message is againtst the system process. If you still intend to do it and Your audit has no issues with that, you could code the requirement for the message and customize it to look at the trigger that causes the O/p to create upon release.. This way as soon as it is determined, You can modify the SY-SUBRC to 4 so the message is not showed any more.

Object link after Document release

Dear all
Can we restrict user to link the DIR before it is released?
I mean user should not be able to link document to any of the sap object until it is having released status.

I think the above method can be used to restrict user to create object link.
i would like to know weather it is possible to configure such that
user must at least enter one object link.if object link is not entered the system should not, allow the user to save DIR.

Output message of PO in ECC not processed automatically after order released in GTS

Dear Experts
PO created in cobalt was blocked in GTS due to legal control. output message of PO was blocked, after the PO was manually released by the user next day, AU open the PO and saved it. output message got processed.
Can you please let me know, why system is not processing the output automatically after the PO is released in GTS.
Is this the standard process?

Hi Kiran,
This is called follow on function in GTS.
When document is released, you could trigger background job regularly to process these document.
Open the area menu for SAP GRC Global Trade Services in your feeder system (with transaction code/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGALR3) and choose Recovery Follow-On Functions in Feeder System .
Choose one of the following entries to configure the follow-on functions for the selected application level: Materials Management Trigger Follow-On Functions for Purchasing Documents

How to add document name and document namespace to xml mail sender msg

Hi,
I have set up a sender mail CC that accepts messages already in XML format. However, the messages are missing the document name and document namespace. I am trying to use MessageTransformBean to add these to the message payload. However the examples I've found so far all talk about converting plain text coming in. When I used convertionTpe -> SimplePlain2XML it messed up the original content with unnecessary xml tags.
Can someone please tell me how to insert the document name and namespace into the payload without converting the original xml content? Thanks in advance.

As the source is a XML, why dont you create the MessageType with the same name and namespace as the XML file in the email.

Can't open itunes,even after un-installing and then re-installing!

I keep getting the following error message when trying to open itunes on my pc.
'The folder "itunes" cannot be found or created, and is required.The default location for this folder is inside the "my music" folder.'
This error message appeared even after un-installing and re-installing itunes.
I conducted a search for the 'my music' folder,and it came up with nothing.
Please help!

If you truly don't have a folder named C/......./My Music, there are bigger problems with that PC.
That folder is a default windows XP folder and should be there.
The file extensions setting is easy to change. Win Explorer > Tools > Folder options

If your music folder really doesn't exist, see if you can do the shift-start and CREATE a new library. It will be blank, but at least that will tell us if itunes can even start. It will NOT run without an ITL library file.

Deleted messages are gone after 2 weeks!

After I delete my message, it goes to the trash. I have changed the preference to go to the new folder and not automatically delete the messages after 30 days, but they are not working. My messages are gone after 2 weeks and not in any folder. Please help!

Have you checked the settings and preferences on all your devices that sync your mail, if your mail is set to be removed after two weeks on any device, then that action will be synced across all of them.

User Exit with call up after document splitting in New GL.

We are implementing Ecc 6.0 and wish to change functional area on gl line item based on values in cost center. However, this change/redetermination of functional area also needs to be done on documents which have been split. Splitting is at profit center level.

Update teminated message after releasing and saving PO

After releasing and saving PO in ME29N ...when pressing BACK button...i am getting a pop message with "updated terminated".
then i enter...in inbox the below message i am getting.

Even I debugged ...with break point satement with 'message' but not able to capture the "updated terminated'.

Automatic PO release and message trigger

Hello all,
I have created a PO release strategy and output message type. Both are working fine when used independantly.
ie I am able to release a purchase order and output message (IDOC) is triggered when PO is changed.
Now I want to combine these two things ie trigger outbound IDOC when PO is released using ME28.
I have maintained an entry at -
SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Fields relevant to printouts of changes
Entry details - TABLE EKKO; FIELD FRGKE
However output message is not triggered when PO is released using ME28. released status is also changed in PO to Released "R".
Please advice.

Please make output condition record with Date/time 4 using MN05. This will output the PO when the final approval approves and saves the document.

Using Site Content and Structure unable to move documents,pages and getting weird error message

earlier we are moving a page ,document from one site to another sub site with in the Site Collection.
Now,we are getting a un-readable format error.
After selecting the destination we are getting the error.
and the file can't move.
What might me be the error.
Expecting answers related to my question.
1.As we can do using Internet Explorer,
2. Using Send To also we can move.
Using this Site Content and structure we can maintain Versoining also.
If any one face the same issue then we can easily find out the solution.

My client require if we change the PO in any field ( expect qty and amount ) our po should be go in the po release again we using release indicator 4 and 6 but we want release should be go if we change any field like date tax code text payment terms etc.

System determines new release strategy only if there are any changes in the characteristic values in the PO. (The characteristics that you must have defined for the PO release strategy configured in your case, like PO value, document type, Plant, etc.)
By your question, it appears that you do not want to change even the date and text fields after PO is released, and in case you do the changes, then again the PO has to be released.
For this, you need to use the release indicator, which won't allow any changes after PO is final released. Hence, when any of the field is required to be changed, the release will be required to be cancelled first, then the changes can be done. After doing the necessary changes in your fields, like, date, text, etc., PO will again be subjected to release, and will have to be released again to proceed further.

Document became corrupted after any editing and saving it using Excel

I have quite a simple document which can be opened by Excel, edited, but after saving became corrupted (no longer possible to open it on the same PC). I tried editing on copies of this document on 3 different PC's with the same result - so the problem is
in a document, but why Excel behaves in a such unfriendly way? If document is initially corrupted it should not be possible to spent time on editing it and then lost all the work done together with a document itself....

Which Excel version are you using? Based on my tested in my environment (Excel 2013&Windows8.1 and Excel 2010& Windows 7), I can re-open the file which your shared after editing/saving it.
Do the three PCs have the same Excel version and operation environment? If the issue only occur in this file and the other file work well, I recommend we copy all of the content to the new/blank file to test.
If you got the error message like: The file is corrupt and cannot be opened", please try the following methods:
1. Open Excel
2. Click on File > Options.
3. Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
4. Select Protected view.
5. Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
6. Restart Excel and try to open Excel documents.
If the issue occurs in all files with three different PCs, I recommend we repair Office programs.
