Microphone drop-down list doesn't work

I have written my own chat software, and while the webcam
selection (in settings) works, when I select different microphones,
although they appear in the selection box as if they have changed,
the same microphone that was on before, remains on. The volume
works fine.
I have tried the same computer using professional chat
software, and the microphone selection works, so it is not the
computer.
Don't think it can be this code:

Your cfif is probably never returning true. The fact that you
are not specifying a row number for
getStudentsDataRet.ScholarshipID could be significant.

My Drop down list won't work in Adobe Reader 9

I have a form that I created in Adobe Designer 7 but have opened and saved in Adobe Designer 9 (also redid the connection string, because it didn't like 7's). Now I can open and use the form normally in Adobe Acrobat Pro 7 and 9 and in the PDF previews of both Designers. But Adobe Reader 9 won't let the drop down list function the way it is supposed to. Also my form has fields that are binded to a SQL Server 2K5 database.
Now if Adobe Reader does not allow database connections or fields binded to them, is there a way to get similar functionality in any way?

Reader Extended? Is that when you open the PDF in Acrobat Pro, go to Advanced, and click "Extend Features in Adobe Reader"? I did that and it still didn't work. Matter of fact it locked up the PDF when I tried to open it in Acrobat Pro 7 or 9.
Or is that Adobe Reader Extension ES package?

JS Validation for Drop down List is not working in Oracle PL/SQL Package

Hi All,
I am facing an issue with JavaScript validation done in Oracle PL SQL package.
System Requirement:
There is one screen which contains two fields viz. FLD 1 & FLD 2 and one 'Submit' button.
FLD 1 and FLD 2 fields are drop down list boxes.These are mandatory fields.
The screen is developed in Oracle Mod PL SQL package.
The html coding and java scripting are embedded in the respective Oracle PL SQL Package procedure which generates this screen,takes the input values provided by user,does the
field validations and submits the form.
Issue:
The javascript validation for FLD 2 dropdown is working successfully.
When the user leaves this field as blank,the embedded javascript pops up an error message 'Selection of FLD 2 is manadatory before submitting the form!'.
As FLD 1 is also a mandatory field,the javascripting validation should pop up the similar error message 'Selection of FLD 1 is manadatory before submitting the form!'.
But,this first field validation is not at all working.
The system allows to submit the form even if the 'FLD 1' is left blank.
The javascript code sysntax for validation of FLD 1 & FLD 2 drop down list boxes as follows:

1. Your problem is actually related to JavaScript, not SQL and PL/SQL. So, this is the wrong forum to post. The closest to JS is the Application Express forum {forum:id=137}. Clearly state that it is not an Apex issue and that you are looking for JS help.
2. Your JS code, the way you has posted it, is syntactically incorrect, so if you post on Apex forum put the correct code and in tags as described in the FAQ

Drop down list setSelected not working

Hi all,
I have a drop down list bound to a database (value: int, display: string). There are two pages:
page 1: a table with id needed for page 2 (id passed through the url)
page 2: drop down list bounded to a database. The selected value comes from page 1.
Problem: Even though I am getting the correct value, and am using ddList.setSelected (id), the ddList value does not change.
I basically want to know how to program the functionality of the "selected" property in java with a table bound to a database.
Any ideas?

1.Change the value field of dropdown from int to string, so value field and display fields are same.

this solution will only work if the value field is String.

Drop-down list won't work at the bottom of a page

I'm having a problem in my forms with drop-down lists that are situated at the bottom of a page. When the list drops down, only the first few values can be chosen. Any that fall too far down the list, and thus hover over top of the next page, cannot be selected. In this situation, the scroll bar for the list actually scrolls the entire document. Very weird. Has anyone expreienced this before? Perhaps I'm making a simple mistake.

Does it help if you disable hardware acceleration ?

Drop down menu doesn't work

I've created a movie clip with the first frame as button
(action: stop), then on roll over of button, it will go to and play
from frame 2 onwards, which contains the fly out buttons (action on
last frame of the movie clip: stop) When I export, the button on
the first clip doesn't not work on roll over, but on click, it
plays, and when it ends, buttons doesn't link to anything... Is
there special things that I need to do to it? or a drop down menu
has to have a complicated script that I have to download somewhere?

I consolidated all my floating windows to tabs the way you instructed windows>images> consolidate all.That worked fine.
After that I went to the arangr documents dropdown window and picked an arrangement (that wasn't grayed out) and nothing happened. (In CS5 this works fine).
Another question if you don't mind.
I open photos in the editor by file> open or command open and I get what appears to be the finder however the thumbnail of the pictures are very small difficult to see. Is there a way to make the thumbnails bigger.
When in the finder<I can go to show view options to make thumbnails bigger, but that has no effect on elements10.

Why did my right click and drop down lists suddenly stopped working in firefox? How do get it fixed?

I have the latest firefox there is and one day when i opened it, the right click button stopped working. Then even the drop down litsts stopped working. For example if i click on the firefox icon in the top left corner, nothing happens. I have tried to reinstall firefox. No help. I don't know what to do. So if don't get rid of the problem I guess I'll just have to swich to another broswer, because this is a really really anoying bug...

Drop down list does not work in EPM

Hi SAP Experts,
One of my user is not able to view the Annual view in the EPM Report after selecting the Annual view option.
When he selects the ‘Annual’ from the column D18, EPM does not display the Annual view.
Still it shows the Monthly view in Row 24.
Could you please guide me on how to fix this issue and what could be the reason.

This is the first time, particular user tries. We have not made any changes to the report.
Particular user has less access permissions when compare with other users.

How do I get the location bar drop-down list to show the most recently visited page at the top? I have no idea how it's deciding what to display.

In IE when you show the drop-down list from the location bar, it show you all of your most recently visited pages in descending order with the most recent at the top. Firefox is showing me a list that I have no idea where it's getting the pages from or how it's ordering them. It doesn't update the pages or the order when I go to a new page. I have recently switched from IE to Firefox and cannot figure out how to get Firefox to do this; very annoying.

That drop down list doesn't show recently visited pages, but shows list list of most visited sites sorted by what the Mozilla devs call frecency (frequency and recency) and is based on bonus points. It is not possible to have much influence on what shows on that list.
If you want a list of recently visited sites then you can use a smart bookmark e.g. on the Bookmarks Toolbar with the location set to this smart folder. 
Name: Recently Visited 
Location: place:queryType=0&sort=4&maxResults=30 
You need to close and restart Firefox to make that folder work as intended.

Problem with drop down list: on Windows it works, on Mac doesn't

I am reworking the MultiPageImporter2.5 script by Scott Zanelli; going to add some new features.
So far I added a drop down list so the user could choose on which pages to place a pdf/indd file: odd/even/both.
However I encountered a strange problem: on Windows it works as expected, but on Mac nothing happens when I click the popup. When I write a dialog, I almost always use automatic layout and never encountered such a problem before. But in this script the author uses fixed position for the controls so I followed his coding style:

The drop down list is visible both on Windows and Mac, but on Mac it’s not clickable. What am I doing wrong?
Another question: in the script, the author created three popups. In the code, each popup has a different height (the last element of the “bounds” array) – 60, 88, 33. Does it make sense to make them different if on the screen they look exactly the same (I mean height).
Here’s my version of the script.
I think the easiest solution for me here is to rework the dialog part from fixed to automatic layout.

In my version of the script, the user will have to choose a file to be placed directly in the dialog box. The selected file can be saved into a preset. I'm reworking it for another person (not for myself) and that's what he wants.

The drop-down list that appears when typing in the Google search bar doesn't work. Clicking on an item on that list does nothing. This very useful feature is broken.

I just installed FireFox 4. In previous versions typing in the Google search box automatically created a drop-down list of items. One could click on an item on the list and proceed to a Google results page. In FireFox 4, the list appears but clicking on an item on the drop-down menu does nothing. It's broken and it was a very useful feature in previous versions.

Swap textbox for drop-down list in "search" section of work list panel

Hi everybody
I am using albpm 6.0, when I do searches for instances in the work list panel I can add conditions to the search, for example if I select the "Priority" condition I can select my condition from a drop-down list but if I select the "Description" condition there isn't drop-down list instead a textbox appear so my question is: Can I control or change that behavior? I would like to do that when someone select the "Description" condition a drop-down list containing the values appear so he doesn't have to type anything.

Webdynpro for ABAP - interactive Adobe form - drop down lists not working

Hi all,
I'm trying to create an interactive form for a client using webdynpro for ABAP and I've viewed the demo "Create SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe with Web Dynpro for ABAP" by Thomas Jung, but when I implement it the form following similar steps the form is not interactive.
In the properties of the "InterativeForm", I've tried clicking the "enabled" flag both on and off. I've also tried setting the "displayType" property to both "ActiveX" and "Native". But none of this worked.
I though my problem might be with Adobe reader so I switched from 8.0 back to 7.0 but this didn't make any difference either.
The system we are using is NW04s WAS 700. Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion Dezso. I've downloaded a newer version of ACF as indicated by the OSS note and installed it. I'm still having the same issue.
My basic question is what options should I be using in the form and on the InteractiveForm component? It looks like because of the evolution of the product there are multiple options available. I recall reading somewhere that as of a certain SP level we should have ZCI (zero client install) available. The would be our preference. It will be a support nightmare if each user needed a manual download of ACF.exe installed.
Should I click the "enabled" flag on the InteractiveForm object? When I create the form should I use the "Native" drop down list or the one from the "Active X" tab? I would like to use the "List Box" control on the form as well but it is only available in the "Standard" tab. So does that mean I can't get the selections from a "List Box"?

Follow the steps below -
1. Drag Form & select Drop Down list for the required field.
2. In entry list select Static list.
3. You will get 2 columns over there Value & Description. In value enter key of the field & in text enter description.
4. Then create Button, select system action as 'Submit' & submit self option.
5. then in connecting line select 'event as 'Submit' & pass the key of that field. i.e @field_key
this should work.
