Mifi 4620L field test refresh crash issue

Question

I've come across an issue with my Mifi as it relates to the Verizon / Mifi software running on the actual device. This is most likely a web server memory exhaustion issue but I'll leave the final determination to those in the know.
The issue is that when using the field test page to track signal strength if I hit the refresh button eventually the mifi either freezes, crashes (red LED), or otherwise becomes disabled - until I restart it using the device power button. Usually this is around 50 refreshes. That may sound like a lot but it's not really if you're doing a robust site survey for clients.
I do have a little bit of experience with the Novatel hardware in a previous life and for a different carrier. I know what OS runs the device although I've seen rumors that this version of OS that Novatel is using to run the device was changed for Verizon. Doesn't matter to me but the issue remains.
This strikes me as a memory exaustion issue with the underlying web server component. Behavior appears to be that memory for each cgi web request is not being freed. Doesn't matter if the 50 refresh actions happen over 2 hours or 2 minutes. Nothing else in the equation is changing other than this refresh action. It happens every time without deviation. Obviously I don't have access to the underlying OS so can't pinpoint the issue.
If other people experience this I'd be intersted in knowing. Also, and this is a shot in the dark I'm sure, but if a Verizon or Novatel technician can reproduce and issue a bug this is just one more reliability issue that could help the platform.
I have initated a replacement / defective ticket for my device and hope the replacement that arrives this week resolves the issue but my expectations are low. I've had reliability issues with this device from day 1 even when being in great coverage (4G LTE 4-5 bars).

If you are using the ASP Command Server Behaviour then no,
its not
fixed, the work around is still to use the Recordset Server
Behaviour.
