Migration Oracle 6i - Oracle10g Use character '&' is not valid in Oracle10g

Question

I used in a field the character '&' in oracle 6i forms to fill with information that i use to call a report, but when we change to oracle 10g this functionality not work.
Example:
Nombre : &10& No.Empleado : &621&
Rige del : &50& Liquidación Referencia : &14&
Fecha Ingreso : &41& Fecha de Emisión : &645&
N. Cédula : &20& N. Asegurado : &4&
*(&10&,&50&,&645&, etc, R a parameters)*
I think, the problem is the character '&',
This Character change in Oracle 10g?
Someone can help me?

This is the situation: i have a field in a table on DB call DES_CONTENIDO and have this information:
Nombre : &10& No.Empleado : &621&
Rige del : &50& Liquidación Referencia : &14&
Fecha Ingreso : &41& Fecha de Emisión : &645&
N. Cédula : &20& N. Asegurado : &4&
Acción término : &2&
this information it´s saved in a forms web application, and after called it in a report web application, but this part of text like *&10&, &50&, &621&* are a parameter that transform in a new information. Example:
Nombre : Christopher Sandders No.Empleado : 907077
Rige del : 14-jul-2010 Liquidación Referencia : 1542134
Fecha Ingreso : 12-dec-2010 Fecha de Emisión : 27-jul-2010
N. Cédula : 01-2121-2121 N. Asegurado : 05-00450-0454
Acción término : 2010005463
I prove the same report in both versions, In Oracle 6i this report is well, but after the migration to Oracle 10g appears nothing, I think the problem is cause by '&' Character, in oracle 10g could be obsolete functionality or need change by another character....
